[Q] P6200 Bootloop Problem. Need to recover files. - Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus

Hi,
I have Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus (P6200).
The device was stuck in a bootloop sequence.
It boot until enter the main screen then it freeze then the screen is off then start the boot again.
I really need to recover the files from internal storage.
I've tried copy the file when it enter the main screen. But when I choose the folder, the device start to reboot itself.
I've tried using ADB. Get my self in recovery and the ADB can recognize the device. But the main problem is, I can't access the /data folder because I don't have any access. I tried SU on ADB Shell but I get Segementation Fault. I tried adb root and get ADBD cannot run as root in production builds.
is there anyway to save the data ?
Thank you

Write CWM witch Odin, then run CWM and plug in to PC and mount internal storage.

Wow, thanks !
Will try it right now.

I've tried the method, and when in download mode, the screen stuck in 100% download. But not reboot it self.
in Odin setting, I untick the auto reboot option and f reset time.
I was waiting for a while, still nothing happened. Then I manually turn off the device by holding the power button for about 5 seconds.
When I powered up the device again, the recovery still the same (Android Recovery 3e).
How long is the uploading progress take to complete ?

To flash CWM you need a few seconds
watch this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUAEFDYG4uk it is the same method on Glaxy S2.
Check or reinstall your Samsung drivers.

Here is the URL to the photo :

sorry for the link, I cannot write down a direct link in here because my current post in XDA is less than 10.
I've tried using Odin several times and still stuck in that screen.

If you Plug-In galaxy tab to PC then ID:COM flash in yellow like this screen odin connect? If not, you can't send any file to galaxy.
Last Chance: you can flash official firmware (from sammobile.com) with Odin, remeber do not select "re-partition" and "PIT" option, after flash u can ran your TAB and seve all data.

Yes, the Odin flashed yellow, and the report was a success.
The loading bar in the device is showing progress from 0 a 100 percent full bar, then it stuck there. Not like the others that automatically rebooting.
I don't know about flashing with official FW, i'am afraid that it will remove all my data.
Are you sure it wont remove my data ?

All your data will be safe, odin flash only system data files.
when I updated my TAB from ICS to JB witch Odin, after update must be meke FACTROY RESET to erase all data files on TAB.

[Q] cant install CWM on P3100

Hi,
I have a Samsung Note P3100. I am running 4.1.1 android. The problem is that I cant install CWM recovery to my Samsung Galaxy Tab:
I use this instructions to flash CWM through ODIN:
III. Installing CWM Recovery on Galaxy Tab 2 7.0
1. First of all, close Kies software on your PC.
2. Reboot your Galaxy Tab 2 into the download mode. You can do so by pressing and holding both Volume DOWN and Power keys together.
3. Press the Volume UP key to enter into the download mode.
4. Launch the Odin Tool on your PC by double-clicking on Odin3 v1.85.exe file.
5. Connect your tablet to your PC using the USB cable.
6. From the Odin Tool, choose PDA and then select the recovery.tar.md5 file you downloaded earlier. You will have following screen:
[ Select "PDA" option ]
7. Click on the Start button to begin flashing recovery. Your tablet will reboot when the flashing is done
Everything Goes well, I see success in ODIN. But when I goto recovery by using Volume UP and Power keys simultaneously. It shows me the Stock recovery instead of CWM Recovery. And I am not being able to root my tab either. I used superoneclick, Heimdall but to no effect. Cant root it. The Heimdall says this:
Initialising connection...
Detecting device...
ERROR: Failed to access device. libusb error: -12
What does this error mean?
Can somebody help me in this?
Thanks in Advance!

[Q] CWM won't install

Hi all
I have tried unsuccessfully to install GT-P5110_ClockworkMod-Recovery_6.0.1.0.tar onto my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 WiFi GT-P5110 on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.
On another tablet – same make, model & OS version – I didn't have any problems in doing so, but on the current one, no such joy, despite making sure that:
all the drivers are installed – I can open and navigate the tablet's folders in Windows Explorer;
debugging mode is ON;
plenty of battery power is available;
plenty of free space – 10.7 GB;
ODIN 'installs' with PASS! indicated.
Each time ODIN 'installs' there isn't a clockworkmod folder displayed in My Files and when I try to restart in 'CWM Recovery' mode I can only enter the 'Android system recovery' mode.
I have tried to install using Odin3_v1.85 and with Odin3-v3.04.
Attached are the logs, messages and texts displayed on my screen from the:
'download' mode on the tablet;
'installation' log on ODIN after it 'installs' CWM;
'Android system recovery' mode menu options.
Any advice please would be very welcome. If this has already been answered on this forum, then my apologies for asking again, but I hadn't found a post related to it.
Thanks for a concise but detailed description of the problem and what you did. (I'm sorry I don't have an answer.)

IF when you try to boot into recovery it goes to the android system recovery you need to reflash clockwork recovery with odin 1.85. The first time you exit CWM recovery it will ask you if you want to prevent the tab from installing the factory recovery over itself on reboot. You need to select yes.
Then boot into CWM and flash your rom.
---------- Post added at 02:17 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:10 PM ----------
Also uncheck auto reboot in Odin. Once you flash the .tar you need to hold power and the volume down(?) button which ever volume button is for recovery. If the tab reboots and you dont make it into recovery for whatever reason the first time the tab will flash the default android recovery right back.
Hi CodyF86
Your suggestion worked – many thanks. :good:
Just curious though, why should it work by accessing 'CWM Recovery' mode without allowing Odin to automatically reboot the tablet?
Also, do you know why can't I see the CWM folder on the SD card, as I can with the 'same' tablet which I'd previously successfully rooted using the 'standard' instructions?

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BzJut_BZm8NTdXhxQ0xScjFuOUk/edit?pli=1 download from here official firmware and follow instruction below step by step good luck.
Procedure:
Step 1: After successful downloading the Firmware package given above, extract it using Winrar. You’ll find the following files inside it: S5670DDKT3_S5670ODDKT2_S5670DDKT2_HOME.tar.md5, BENI_v1.0.0ps & ODIN_v4.38.
Step 2: Now switch off your Galaxy Fit completely and enter into downloading mode.
Step 3: For Fit, downloading mode can be entered by holding ‘Home Button (middle button) + Volume down key + Power Button’ simultaneously until the download mode appears.
Step 4: Keeping your device in downloading mode connect it to your PC using USB cable.
Step 5: Open ‘Odin Multi Downloader_v4.38‘ software from the firmware package folder which you have just downloaded & extracted on your PC. As soon as you open it, the ID:COM section in it will turn yellow. If it’s not showing, then check that a proper device drivers are installed on your PC. You can install them from the Samsung Kies CD which you’ve got at the time of purchase.
Step 6: Now select the OPS tab located on the Odin Downloader and select ‘BENI_v1.0.ops’ file from the Firmware package.
Step 7: On top left side on the Odin, you’ll find One Package option. Tick that so that the One Package option at the bottom gets highlighted. So click that One Package option and select ‘S5670DDKT3_S5670ODDKT2_S5670DDKT2_HOME.tar.md5’ file located in the firmware package folder. Do not check or un-check any other option from the Odin Multi Downloader. You may refer the screenshot given below.
Step 8: After attempting everything as mentioned above, start the process by clicking on the Start button located on the Odin window. Your phone will automatically reboot itself while going through the process. Do not touch or remove the USB cable until the process completes.
Step 9: The process will last upto few minutes to complete. As soon as it completes, you’ll see that the ID:COM section on the Odin window is turned blue with the message ‘Pass’ below it. This will confirm that you have properly flashed your Galaxy Fit with 2.3.6 DDKT3 Gingerbread. You can now disconnect your device by safely removing the USB cable.
Note: If the process fails or if Odin gets stuck or in case your device gets boot loops, then close the Odin window, remove battery from your Galaxy Fit and re-insert it. Again go into downloading mode and follow the same procedure as given above.
Step 10: After successfully completing the process, boot your device into recovery mode by holding Home button (Middle button) and Power button simultaneously until the recovery mode appears.
Note: Touch will not work here in recovery mode. So all you need to do is use Volume Up and Volume Down keys for navigation and Home button (Middle button) for selection.
Step 11: On the recovery mode, navigate to the ‘Wipe data/factory reset’ option followed by the ‘Wipe Cache partition’ option & select them to clear all the data and caches from your phone memory.
Step 12: Then go back to the main menu of recovery mode and select ‘reboot system now’ option to restart your device.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000M keeps rebooting

Here's my problem:
I have a Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000M that keeps rebooting after trying to install a custom recovery so that I can root it.
What I did
I followed the steps (1 to 11), of Installing a custom recovery on Galaxy S mentioned in the following page:
wiki,cyanogenmod,org/w/Install_CM_for_galaxysmtd
After that, I simply unplugged the usb, there were no errors, and removed the battery and now what I get is the simply that my device reboots after the boot logo. IF I hold down volume + home + power I can boot in download mode. However, I cannot boot in recovery or in normal mode !
Here's a video of what it is doing youtube,com/watch?v=Wie9eZYyECw
What I have tried
Removing the battery and reboot the cellphone
I tried to redo step 7, heimdall flash --kernel zImage --no-reboot, but I still got the same error

[Q] How to fix samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 boot loop

Hello, My samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 stops at android after booting. It wont show anythings but keeps loading at android. How do i fix it.
Hold the volume up and power key together till you enter recovery, then restore backup. If you don't have backup then reflash the rom. You can also try clearing cache and dalvik cache before it. And i think it is the wrong section

There is no clock workmod recovery installed so i cant recover any backup. It was only rooted
Use stock recovery, wipe, if that doesn't work do a restore.
Pp.
sent from my microwave running lollipop 5.0.
Mostly this problem can be solved by just doing a factory reset in the stock recovery..
If it doesnt help there is only 1 way
-installing stock firmware using odin.
Follow these steps.
1.download the stock firmware from this site.
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
2. Now download odin app in ur pc/laptop.
http://odindownload.com/download/Odin3_v3.10.6.zip
3. Now charge your device above 60%, and go to download mode (power button + vol down)
And connect your device to ur pc.
4. Open odin and then select the firmware you downloaded from PDA button.
5.make sure you dont check/uncheck anything in there.just select the firmware and click start.
6.during this process it is best not to disturb your device, and if you see it rebooting dont worry it is common it will reboot several times if necessary.
7.once it is completed it will show pass in the pc.
And your device must have to reboot automatically, now remove the usb cable.
8.give it some time for booting, if it doesnt get booted even after 20 mins you can just go to the recovery mode, this time you will see the stock recovery, there perform a factory reset
9.now you can reboot, you will come to the stock firmware you had at first.
HURRAY YOU SOLVED YOUR PROBLEM!!!!
Note- remember to install your USB drivers if odin doesnt recognize your device.
Always have your device charged above 60%
