Step to reproduce the problem
1. Stop a film with power button to turn off the screen
2. Reopen the app
3. The sound is not in sync with picture
It happens only with bluetooth headset. Sometimes, fast backward or fast forward can make the sync problem too.
Work around : switch to hw codex for a moment (so no sound) then switch back to hw+.

Hello.
I have problems using MX Player with Ethernet conection iinstead Wifi. It seems that MX thinks that I am conected by 3G or similar and it doesn't load buffer and often crashes closing application.
I am conected by Ethernet in Rikomagic MK802 IV, which has Ethernet conection.

Crashes happen when video time is changed or when pause/play are clicked. When pause and play, video stops like it didn't have connection, and then decoder has to be changed in order to video continues. When decoder is changed often MX Player is unexpectedly closed.
Maybe an option to select buffer size would solve the problem, although other problems can be the cause of crashes and stops.

Your log does not contain information about crash. Would you send again immediately after MX Player is crahsed?
What bleu8888 said. The Log Collector needs to be run immediately after the crash for it to be able to pickup the system log.

Crashes are solved with last updates. However, buffer problem persists. Buffer is important when network speed is low and connecting by LAN (withut Wi-Fi) buffer is 0. ¿Can buffer be established automatically when Wi-Fi is off or a preference with buffer size?

Hi, I have been using MX Player for a long time and its a great app, but recently I have been suffering from my phone rebooting whilst using MX player.
The problem arose after I have performed a factory reset, prior to that point there was no problem at all. Since a factory reset though I can be anywhere from 1 minute to 20 mins to an hour into a film and then the app will freeze and the phone then reboots itself.
I have tried changing the decoders from S/W to H/W and H/W+ but none of these change matters.
Completely uninstalling the app and reinstalling from fresh doesn't help. Rooting the phone, clearing caches, Dalvic etc still doesnt help.
I have used MX Cat Log to get the log.txt.gz and build.prop after its restarted and am attaching them here, although not sure if it will help much because I assume the needed data gets cleared on the reboot.

The only thing you can do is setting the h/w decoder to default. Therefor go to settings - decoder.
But the overall performance depends on your hardware and since you have a rather low to mid-range device dont expect too much. You could struggle watching full hd movies tho
Exactly what CCody said. There isn't much to configure in MX, other than selecting HW and SW decoders for video and audio, and changing the number of decoding threads/cores to match your device.
I'm using an Android tv box. MX Player can not use, for an unknown reason, videos do not play and they are stuck at 00:00.. ... when i seeking time, the pictures of video is shown but can not play, Disabling H/W+ (Network) did not work. Using H/W+, H/W or S/W encoding didn't work either. Neither does uninstalling and installing again.
I install all codec but can not fix

Kindly collect the logs immediately after playing the video. The logs you have uploaded doesn't have any playback informations.

sorry, took me a while to get this done.
If anyone would be so kind to look at my log and see what problem I am facing. Videos just would not play and are always stuck at 00:00. I tried all sorts of combination with H/W+, H/W and S/W. Uninstalled and reinstalled did not work either.

I have the same problem too using a Unblock Tech Gen2 S800 (dolphin_fvd_p1-eng 4.4.2 KOT49H 20161109 test-keys)
It worked for months until the last two days. I then tried re-flashing the ROM for a clean slate. It worked for a few hours then stopped. I had to uninstall MX Player. I hope it can be fixed.

Here's two logs I made.
I was able to force it to play afterwards by using Background Play. But, it won't respect video aspect ratio and all videos are zoomed in no matter what I changed to.
