[Completed] OnePlus One non responsive, wont boot or charge (black screen), help please - XDA Assist

Hi some help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.
Sorry for the long paragraph but I wanted to give you as much information as possible about my problem.
So I got my OPO last Friday, no issues so far until this morning when I had charged it from the night before, the phone worked as normal, after using it for about 20 minutes I was on the lock screen with about 90% battery. Suddenly the screen goes really funny, glitches up and freezes. Its hard to explain but anyway my immediate response was to restart it because this stuff happens all the time right? HAHA. Anyway the phone, once shut-down, was rendered unresponsive.
My first response was to put it back on charge using the official charger, no responce so I left it for half an hour. I unplugged it and pressed the power on button and success it boots, to a black screen again unresponsive!
I then charged it for a further 10 minutes and tried recovery mode it worked so I thought I would press reboot, it reboots to a black screen. Now after a good few hours of charge it is unresponsive completely no recovery mode or fast boot. Right back where I started.
So this is my problem: The phone doesn't vibrate, no charge light, no on screen response. Or any signs of life for that matter. I am really good with technology but new to android. I haven't tried rooting or anything and I was using stock cyanogenmod 12.
Here's what I've already tried:
-Charging it pretty much all day
-Recovery mode
-Fast boot mode
-All this with it plugged into the pc and plug charger
-Boot cycle
-No signs of the phone in device manager on my PC either.
If anyone could help or point me in the right direction that would be great thanks.

[Q] Phone just quit working?

Anyone that can provide any insight will be greatly appreciated!
So I was sitting on my couch watching TV and on my phone, transferring pics to the sdcard, and right after a file transfer it just shutoff. Went dark. I held down the power button and it vibrated, but nothing else. Same with reboot recovery (Vol up, power, home) and download (Vol down and Home). When I plug it into my comp it will vibrate about every 6 seconds or so and flash the battery charging with a loading circle and then dissapper, and then a battery charging logo with no loading circle than dissappear. By the time thats over it vibrates again.
I figured it was a soft brick, so opened odin and tried to get that to work, but there is no communication with the phone.
Does anyone know what is going on? I am pretty confused on what is happening, and any info will greatly help.
What rom?

So will it go into download mode? If not does your computer ask for any drivers when plugged in and what device name?

Have you tried charging it in the wall charger for 10 minutes?

The phone went stupid i get this occasionally. With the phone unplugged, pull the battery for a few seconds. While the battery is out hold power like u want to turn it on(probably not needed but doesnt hurt). Put the battery back in and hold volume dwn, home + power but when you get the warning screen press volume down instead of up. Phone will shut off and reboot to the system.
If this works but the phone goes back into the loop rather than booting, repeat the steps but at the last part hit volume up to go into dl mode and reflash the stock rom
Well apparently my phone wasnt really broken after all. It decided to go completely dead at 18% battery. I have never heard of this before 18% battery drop... But I let it charge for some time and it started acting normal, so I turned it on and it worked fine, just had 2% battery and charging. Dont know what the cause was, but battery is doing fine today.

[Q] Photon Q won't boot up

Sorry if this is something that has been covered before. I searched, and searched and didn't find my exact problem. Any guidance you may have, including links to the appropriate threads is greatly appreciated.
My Q shutdown today while it was sitting in my pocket during a meeting. It was way too soon for my battery to be dead, but I tried charging it, both by USB on a computer and on a stock charger just in case. The backlight on the screen comes on for a few seconds every minute or so, regardless of whether its on hte charger or not. The screen is black otherwise. The battery is HOT, even after being off the charger for a long time. I tried soft-reset and booting into recovery with no luck. Plugging into USB on a computer that has Moto Device manager installed results in the computer alternating between recognizing and not recognizing the device every few seconds (seemingly in concert with the backlight turning on and off) but it does not recognize it long enough to load directories, etc. RSD lite will not recognize the device.
I wasn't doing anything with the phone at the time. It is rooted but not unlocked.
Any ideas? Will I run into a warranty issue since it was rooted even though it's not unlocked?

Have you tried to force reboot (Vol down + Power button for about 7-10 secs)?
Yes. Thanks for the reply. That's what I meant by soft reset. What the issue, I figured out, was that my battery had decided to self-destruct. It didn't have enough charge to even boot the phone successfully, so it was not possible to put it into recovery mode or anything else. I took it to Sprint and they replaced it under warranty.

[Q] Nexus 5 reboot loop, stuck at Google Logo. Catalysm Rom, April Stable release

Hello Folks,
I have been using cataclysm rom, april's stable release on my nexus 5 for past 2 months and it was a perfect companion.
Since yesterday though it has started to reboot, and only the google logo comes up and it again reboot's.
When I unplug the charger though the phone stops rebooting and is as good as dead. When I plugin, the reboot loop continues.
Currently I am unable to use my phone, and any help would be great.
My doubt is if the battery has gone very weak, and is unable to support the boot process, but even though I keep it charged for a significant amount of time, the same isssue happens.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Hi,
It seems to be a power button issue. It being pressed permanently is causing the issue. Rammed the phone a lil softly on a surface on the side of power button and the phone was back to life. Need to get the issue fixed, need to see where and how.
If the phone is plugged in, it should be able to boot. Some time ago i had also a problem related to battery (so i thougth at the time). My phone was charging very slow and wasn't capable to boot if i had the phone turned on, so i had to turn off the phone and let it charge for about 30 minutes before it could boot. It turned out that was a problem with the USB connectors. So i cleaned the USB entry and everything was fine again.

[Completed] LG g2 Shows 0% battery after lcd and digitizer replacement and turns off

I finally got the right digitizer for my LG-D802, and when I turn it on it will either go through the boot process, and then show 0% battery and tell me it's turning off because of the battery, or do a boot process with what looks like a buffering logo animation followed by a regular speed animation, led light flashes green and blue and then back to the 0% battery and turn off. If connect it with charger turns on by it self and the boot logo runs like slow motion, after some time reboot and does bootloop.
I can get it to firmware download mode, and cannot get it to factory reset. I also cannot get my win 7 to see the phone after trying tons of different drivers.
Please help

[Completed] HTC One M8s won't boot

Hey guys,
I've got a problem and since I'm not an expert I've got into a dead end.
I was trying to root my HTC One M8s. I managed to unlock the bootloader, but when I tried to flash a custom recovery (TWRP 2.7.0.2) it went completely black. Since then only reactions it has are the red LED is on, if I put it on charge the turned off charge screen comes on. And if I try to hold the power button and volume down, after 10 seconds it goes black again, even the red LED, like it tries to reboot, but it after that it only goes back to the charging screen if it's on charge or only the red LED if it isn't. I can't install factory image, because the computer won't recognize the device.
Do you, guys have any suggestion or is it completely bricked?
Any answer is appreciated!

The m8 and m8s are different devices and it looks like you installed the wrong recovery did you install this one ?

The PC didn't even recognized it, like nothing would be plugged-in.
But eventually, I found the solution. I share it, maybe it's gonna be useful for someone in the future.
I had to take the whole phone apart, which was quite an experience, considering the built of the phone. But there are some guides out there.

Detach the battery, wait a couple seconds and then reattach it again, push the power button and it was like nothing happened. Except the battery was on 5% what was odd because I was trying to charge the whole previous night!
Anyway, it is a happy end!
Thanks for the advice, though.
Cheers!
