Omnia Slow response

I bought my Samsung Omnia 8GB 4 months back.
Initially it worked very well. But recently I am experiencing slowness in response.
Touch screen takes min 10-20 sec to response. :-(
Any idea to fix this issue? Not installed much applications on to it.
Need urgent help!.
Welcome to forums
As this is an HTC devices only forum you won´t gettoo much atention, however in off topic there is a thread regarding samsung, perhaps there you can find help.
Good luck,
Hey Pulse,
have you put any cooked roms on it? I'm assuming you have taken the battery out and put it back in to give it a proper reboot?
You might wan't to go to omnia.modaco.com to get much more specific help.

[Q] Trouble uploading to youtube

Hey there everyone, this is my first post here although i have been looking around here for a little while now. I would like to start off by saying hello to everyone as I am new to these forums.
I have done some searching but as far as I seen there was nothing on this specific problem, I have a Samsung Mesmerize, it is rooted, when i try to upload my videos to youtube it just says waiting to retry and never uploads, I do have it connected to my Wifi at the time also. The wife has the same phone and i tried to upload with hers and it went just fine, so I was thinking maybe it has something to do with the root? I compared setting from her phone to mine and they all are the same so I'm kinda at a loss for anymore ideas. If I missed out on any info I'll be glad to post whatever is needed.
Thanks alot in advance for the advice!

Help with S4 issues

Hi
I just can't get any sense from my S4 after trying to load KitKat Echoerom 4.4.2
Can anyone suggest where I can go in the UK to have the phone put back to standard and usable again
I have tried so many fixes the poor thing is probably so confused it won't respond
I have gone back to 4.3 but have the new bootloader and no sound at all .. everything else works just can't hear anyting
Tried all ve4rsions of modems and the like so time to admit defeat and seek help
I am in the UK and if necessary will send the phone somewhere to have it re-instated (if that is possible)
I don't have enough posts to get to the developers forums as yet so time to give in
Thanks in advance!

[Q] Reliability of updates

Hi guys,
I appologise in advance for the probably stupid question. I'm new to all that is different from a stock rom. A friend helped me (better said: he did all the work and I watched with fear) to unlock and root my phone, also to put CM11 on it. We had some problems doing this, because we had to load boot.img manually (it scared the **** out of me, because I really need the phone).
The result is that the phone is almost flying, so fast. I can't believe the guys from CM did such a great job. Now and then the phone stalls and reboots, but okay, 99% of the time it's perfect.
Now about my question: I already got 2 updates which I didn't install, because I'm scared my phone will be useless. Can somebode take my fear away? Are these update OTA reliable? Where can I check what fixes are in the update?
Best regards,
Mischa
It depends on which updates you are subscribed to. There are two channels : nightlies and snapshots. If you want to be on the safe side use snapshots.
If you want more explanations the CyanogenMod blog explained this in a previous post.

New Update?

I am in the US on an unlocked S7 G930U.
Earlier this week I received notice of a Software Update.
I am always hesitant to install these updates until I know what they are and see what people are saying about their performance.
I havent seen anything about this here (am I missing it somewhere) although on GSMArena there is a scary sounding thread with people installing a recent update and having major battery issues.
Is there anyway to see what this update is before it gets installed? Any ideas? Thanks.
BTW - the update is ~452MB.

I'm kind of new here, but after reading up on the Samsung support forums apparently G930U will only be receiving quarterly security updates so this update is all of the regular updates the carrier versions have received since September rolled up into 1 large package. It's still 6.0.1, and so far, I haven't seen any adverse effects (although I'm not rooted, so no clue if it effects anything along the lines of the boot loader) Also, during my internet search on what this update was, I came across this site that lists out the firmware (and Android level) of every release for a Samsung product, which confirmed not the nougat update. - can't make a real link since I'm new to posting on XDA, so search Google for "live-samsung updates"
Hope that helps!

I updated my G930U and have had no issues. Took it off the charger this morning at 8am, it's now nearly 1pm and battery is at 97%. Obviously I haven't used it much but there's certainly no unusual standby battery issue so far.
