[Q] Tempered glass exclusively for SM-T700 - Galaxy Tab S Accessories

Has anybody bought a tempered glass screen protector for the Galaxy Tab S SM-T700 that doesn't have a nick or notch at top? All the tempered glass protectors I could find appear to be for the LTE version (SM-T705) which has the cut out for the ear piece. This looks simply ugly on the SM-T700, which doesn't have any front facing speakers.

This one seems for T700 only.

EDIT: nope, it doesn't.

Tempered glass? or normal screen protector?

Will you take a Tempered glass or Plastic on your Nexus 9?
The tempered glass very helpful for anti scratch but too heavy and thick.
Price of Tempered glass much expensve than Plastic one.
$17.9/pcs of Tempered glass in this store:oiostore meanwhile $10.9 of plastic one(Nillkin Glossy)
Price is $11.9~$16.9 on aliexpress.com, different seller offer difference.
For me, I don't like any screen protector on my tablet pc....
Tempered glass feels and looks so much better. And i doubt you'll be able to notice the weight difference.
Tempered glass all the way!
This is a good one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ode=as2&tag=fiabte-20&linkId=D2LUGFFLTS3RY4YJ

I order one similar to this and there's two hole on the protector, one on top and another at the bottom. Does your have an opening for the front facing camera and another one at the bottom?
I have a tempered glass protector on my S4 and love it. The feel is superb, is not prone to becoming dull and scuffed like the film type protector and simply makes me feel I'm swiping the original surface. Can't wait to get one of these on my N9!

This item is not actually glass...it's "a flexible urethane film."
Here's one I'm considering from IVSO, which claims to be tempered glass: http://www.amazon.com/IVSO-Ultra-th...r=1-1&keywords=nexus+9+glass+screen+protector

The link shows a glass protector for me "PLESONĀ® Premium Google Nexus 9 Tempered Glass Screen Protector (2.5D 9H Hardness, Superslim 0.3mm)". In fact, both of those links appear to be pretty much the same thing (look at the product images with the hammer).

That's the one i ordered. it feels like any other tempered glass screen protector. but it's odd how there's an opening on the bottom of the protector. There's a opening for the front facing camera and a smaller one at the bottom. Not sure why there's one at the bottom unless there's some sensor i dont know about.

Orzly seem to make a good one, which is 0.24mm thick. Thinner than any of the links listed above.
tempered glass for quality experience
Just received and installed my Plesion tempered glass protector. It fits perfectly. The cutout is very close. So you better be extra tedious when you install it. The feel is excellent. Little to none finger prints noticed. Over all, im happy with it.
So my IVSO screen protector arrived finally, I got these:
http://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00OMNEY1M/
Overall the cut is nice and is a good fit for the screen, albeit a bit tight with very little room for error. There is a nice cut out around the speakers, front camera and what I assume is the currently disabled notification LED on the bottom. I thought I messed up because I had many micro-bubbles under it after the application but those seemed to have cleared out after a few hours. The screen itself is not hampered by the glass in any way and my fingers glide across it perfectly fine. Time will tell how well this lasts but it feels solid.
I purchased this really early on when it was like 7 bucks plus 5 dollar shipping. The price has now gone up by almost 100% to 22 dollars and I'm glad I ordered it pre-production.
If you guys have any questions about it, you can ask me and I can try to answer as best as possible.

I'm currently at work but I'll definitely take some pics for you once I get home. My experience with it so far has been great. I'll say it feels 95% close to the stock screen itself.

Have you seen the latest reviews for the screen protector? I haven't yet received mine and am worried that those claims are true and that it isn't real glass and more like a thick plastic. Like this one: http://amzn.to/1AbijlY

No i haven't seen them review. Perhaps the reviewer received fake item. I don't know but I'm sure mine is 100% glass.
Keep in mind these things are made and shipped from China. There is a good chance fake stuff got through distribution channels.
I've received a fake UAG case from Amazon for my old S4 before. So i know it happens.

Best Tempered Glass 0.2mm

I just received THIS glass. But it is so thick (0.3mm), that my Diztronic case is not able to fit well - edges are standing away. Also big top part around earphone is not protected. I definitely must buy better glass. Only positive is much better touch feeling in compare with PET protector. Can you recommend me a glass with this parameters? :
1) 0.2mm thin
2) rounded edges (for fit of diztronic plastic case)
3) as much as possible of protected area around the earphone
Thanks for the tips!
I use spigen Glas 0.2mm and an otterbox defender. I popped out the original plastic screen protector from the defender. And on my s5 I applied the spigen Glas and it fits perfectly
I'm very happy. The glass is not covering above the earpiece or around d the camera. I haven't had any issues.

Thank you, nalgrim. After 2 months of using this glass, I found it simply outstanding! It costs 50 USD in Czech republic, but its worth money... The best quality I have seen!
Have used XGear protectors for years and they absolutely rock! Save a couple bucks and get them on eBay sometimes.

I have the ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass Screen Protector and it is fantastic!!! So clear!!! The only downside is that it's so delicate that you have to be really careful when handling it.

Never use screen protectors, just thin TPU case.
No marks at all but always keep the phone in a pocket with no money, keys etc.
I always don't understand the screen protectors. Are there any protectors people buy and put on their expensive cars?
So no protector for me. Have a dbrand skin on the back mainly for the slippery problem (but it doesnt fix it), it helps with the fingerprint smudges.
but I use a slide in case on the go or a protective cover while hiking/etc.
I use a Diztronic TPU case and never use a screen protector. I don't carry my phone in my pants pocket, so I've never worried about scratches. Haven't scratched a screen yet.

Actually, yes. 3M makes clear protectors for the front of cars. They were originally designed for the leading edge of rotor blades on helicopters.
It's always funny when you see the guy with the huge phone with otter box big a$$ case.

Small Otterbox shell and screen protector. Every now and then I take the shell off, and admire its design.
Haven't used a screen protector in years. The gorilla glass is really food; the minor scratches that are barely visible after years of use look better than the static cling film on top.
For the time being I'm using zagg HD dry and otterbox symmetry but never break a phone or really damage one. I have a toastmade skin coming in soon for front and back so probably gonna take off zagg.

Is that a valid comparison? Don't people wax their cars?
I mean the screen of a phone is the most heavily used part. Is it offensive to cover it with plastic or is that like covering your sofa

Nope they are all hideous or don't fit properly due to the curved edges of the screen and don't stick properly so dirt and dust can get under the screen protector. I've been using my xa with no screen protection since July last year and so far there isn't a scratch or mark on it even after being dropped at work. The scratch resistance on the x range is in a different league to my previous xperia devices. Only thing I use is a orzly slim fit case.

I can confirm, tempered screen protector are bad for same reasons said by @aidy.lucas . I can add an other problem, you lose some sensitivity on the edges (harder to use the keyboard) I tried 3 differents and result is near the same, a piece of s**t. My XA doesn't have screen protector too and no scratches on it since July.

it is very difficult to find a screen guard for xa but you risked going with out, big mistake. anyway i use Roxfit screen guard. It cover the curved too.
I suggested you "Dapad TPU film", and yet there is not hard to touch at all.
Unfortunately, it doesn't cover whole screen.
aidy.lucas is correct.
I got a glass one which doesn't cover the whole display (it can't because of the curve) and it has a continuous ugly air bubble around the edge. The only reason I've still got it on is because I'd rather have this than a scratched screen, apparently the screen scratches easily.
