[Q] Stuck and Can Only Boot Into TWRP - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

So I have TWRP on but it was mistakenly the T-Mobile version TWRP so the touch screen doesn't work and I can't hold down Vol Up+Home+Power to go to Odin. And if I hold Vol Dow+Home+Power and release right when it turns off, it just will boot back into recovery! Is there a way to reboot into download mode or anything on the main screen of TWRP? ADB? Anything?

So now I'm in recovery and I tested Fastboot and ADB to see if anything would work. I got ADB to work, BUT here's the catch. The device is "Offline." Check image below....

Did the same with TWRP... awhile back..But I knew it was for the T-Mobile.
I was checking to see if it work (SCREEN WAS NOT RESPONDING, STUCK IT WAS..ALL i DID WAS VOL+ MENU-B+PWR. AND I FLASH A COPY OF THE FIRMWARE I PICKED FROM SAMSUNG WEB SITE .BACK TO STOCK NO ISSUES)
CF-Auto-Root-zerofltetmo-zerofltetmo-smg920t
WORKED FOR ME..
HOPE YOU FIND A SOLUTION.

Solved
How I fixed my Sprint Galaxy S6 stuck in TMobile TWRP boot loop:
I have a lot of my music I made, pictures of my kids and family and did not want to lose my data.
SO, IF YOU VALUE YOUR DATA, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS
1.) Download Odin 3.10.6 from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2711451
2.) Download Sprint TWRP Recovery Image:
https://dl.twrp.me/zerofltespr/twrp-2.8.6.0-zerofltespr.img.tar.html
3.) Enter Galaxy S6 Download Mode:
Here are the few simple steps to boot Galaxy S6 download mode:
Turn your Samsung Galaxy S6 off completely...
you could run the battery down by resetting the phone several times,
but you could probably avoid this by trying this following button sequence:
Boot into Galaxy S6 recovery mode by pressing and holding each button, one at a time
(Volume Down>Home >Power) keys at the same time.
Release all three buttons when Samsung Galaxy S6 screen flickers and you see a warning sign.
Press Volume Up to continue booting into to Recovery mode.
4.) Flash the Sprint TWRP Recovery package:
1. Add the tar file to the "AP" section of ODIN.
2. Under Options make sure to ONLY select "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset Time".
DO NOT select repartition, or anything else!
3. Click start and it will immediately flash and reboot.
4. Click reboot system and you have your phone back to a working condition.

Odin (download) mode better always be there or you are really and totally screwed.
ok assuming your using the same method I did what you havve done so far is put your device into download mode opened Odin and unchecked the auto reboot and f reset time and flashed the CWM .tar file for your version of the tab and now after "pass"ing your tab is still in download mode and your afraid to power off because the screen still says "do not power off", it's OK if you passed on the odin flash then its safe to press the power button and volume up (the volume closest to the power button) button combo till the tab resets then release just the power button (keep holding the volume up button until CWM recovery boots, then flash the zip files like the instructions say.

(HELP) Install wrong bootloader and modem

I need some help. I have been searching and trying everything i found but nothing seems to work. I have a 920i 5.0.2. I accidently installed the 920F 5.1.1 bootloader and modem. I am stuck on the samsung screen with "kernel seandroid enforcing." I am able to get back into download mode. Using odin, i tried to flash the stock 920i 5.0.2 and 5.1.1 firmware but neither are working. I tried installing the 920i 5.1.1 bootloader and modem via odin but no dice. An suggestion and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Try flashing stock firmware via Smart Switch.
1. Download Smart Switch.
2. Put your phone in download mode
3. Press "more"
4. Press "Emergency software recovery and initialization"
5. Device initialization
6. search for you device - i guess SM-G920i
7. Type in S/N number that was on the back of your phone.
8. Follow the steps and it should reinstall stock android for you.
Beware that your files and stuff will be gone.
I figured out, I was able to put my phone into recovery. I first had to go into download mode, but press cancel so it doesn't actually go into download mode, then quickly press/hold the buttons to go into recovery. I restored my backup from here.

Can you please provide a more detailed solution, please?
I am stuck at this all the time.
I did not use smart switch. My phone was stuck on the Samsung logo screen. Evenn though i tried to enter recover by pressing home+power+volume up, my phone would not go into recover. In order to enter recover, I first had to enter download mode but only as far as the warning screen. I canceled instead of entering download mode and quickly pressed volume up+home+power which allowed me to enter recovery. In recovery I was able to restore and flash as appropriate. This fixed my phone which was stucked on the Samsung logo. Hope this helps.

How to fix my Samsung Galaxy J7 on bootloop without recovery mode?

Hello, so my Samsung galaxy j7 (SM-J700F with android version 6.0.1) goes on bootloop after I tried to install xposed updates after rooting the device using odin and installing custom recovery twrp without much thinking (my bad). I tried to go to recovery mode by pressing volume up, power, and home buttons, but failed because it says "can't boot on normal mode invalid kernel length" , also I can't boot the device normally because it says the same thing and goes on bootloop. I searched for guides but all of them tell me to go to recovery mode which I can't. I can only go to download mode by pressing vol down, power and home buttons. I already backed up important files to external drive before the whole process, if I have to do a factory reset to fix this it doesn't matter. I'm very noob I'm not familiar with the language also I really appreciate your help asap thank you very much
You have to factory reset. Since your bootloader is still working (download mode), download your device firmware from sammobile and flash using odin.
Welcome to the android community and good luck!

the right way
power + home + vol up
By holding the "home button + vol -" keep holding until you see twrp
OR
Depending on the carrier you have sometimes the recovery mode the first time is the hard reset screen.
Before you do this back up your device
if you installing it right, hold the "home button + vol -" when you booting it up once you see it your manufacturer logo, let go of your home button then press it again, keep holding the vol -.
Now, you should now should see the hard reset screen, use the volume key to move and now press yes for everything and then twrp will boot up.
Disclaimer i don't have this device
I have a J500F version, found the solution.
Uncheck Auto Reboot in Odin, then do the "installing", after that unplug your device and just simply remove the battery, then replace it.
If you're done then Volume up + Home + Power button will get you into TWRP.

[SOLVED] TWRP not booting

I've been trying to flash TWRP onto my Galaxy S3 and my Galaxy S9 for a few days now, and every time I try to do so, it flashes successfully, but then boots into stock Samsung recovery when entering recovery mode. I've used Odin on Windows and Heimdall on Linux, but both have the same issue. I tried different versions of TWRP as well.
If it helps, I'm pretty sure both phones are OEM unlocked. The S9 has the option in developer options, and says it it unlocked in download mode. The S3 doesn't have any option for this, and doesn't say anything in download mode about it.
Even though the S3 might not be OEM unlocked, it still doesn't explain the issue with the S9.
I'm also dual booting, so all attempts were from the same computer. It might be some issue with my computer, but I really don't have access to another one right now, so I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas or thoughts on the issue. Any help would be appreciated.
Did you check this?
Note many devices will replace your custom recovery automatically during first boot. To prevent this, use Google to find the proper key combo to enter recovery. After typing fastboot reboot, hold the key combo and boot to TWRP. Once TWRP is booted, TWRP will patch the stock ROM to prevent the stock ROM from replacing TWRP. If you don't follow this step, you will have to repeat the install.

I think for S3 it's
Vol up + Home + Power
Basically:
1. Flashing
2. Reboot into Recovery by keep pressing Vol up + Home + Power
3. Allow TWRP to become permanent

Holding the given buttons just brings me to default recovery, so I'm not sure what the proper recovery is. I've also tried Volume Up + Down + Home + Power.
Hmm, didn't flash an S3 for quite some time but I vaguely remember that I had similar problems during
"After typing fastboot reboot, hold the key combo and boot to TWRP. Once TWRP is booted"
and often missed or was too clumsy, too late or both
Would in fastboot the command
fastboot reboot recovery
work for you? Or does it still end up in stock recovery?
Perhaps it's really time to check in the s3 threads for further advice?

Okay so turns out I needed to boot into recovery immediately after flashing TWRP on both phones because when booting into the system, the recovery is replaced. After doing this, everything worked fine and I was able to get custom ROMs working! I appreciate your help though
