Buying Advice: want a dual boot Android - Windows 10 tablet (UK)

Hi, as above need advice for my son's Xmas present and apart from getting a China tab with long delivery times, my options are limited.
Ideally want one that's well supported with ROMs for future proofing if possible.
Thanks in advance for any guidance.

[Completed] I need help to what phone should I get to my grandma

Hi xda community,
I want to get my grandma a "new" phone, running on at least android Jellybean. Price I am thinking of is between not more than 200 euros. I stumbled on some models I am thinking of buying: Samsung S4 Mini, Samsung S3 Mini, Sony XPERIA T, LG G2 mini.
Features I am looking to:
Bright, sharp display;
Good battery;
Reliable mobile signal;
not bigger than ~4.5" display size;
100-200 euros price;
And that it wouldn't crash often on low memory;
Android version not older than Jellybean, Lollipop preffered;
Anyone has an idea what model I should get, maybe has other models to recommend?
Moved to general thread sorry for disturbance. Feel free to remove this thread

[Q] Help buying tablet (suggestions)

So I searched the forums for a place to write this but couldn't find so I decided to post here.
I am looking to buy a tablet, but have no idea which one of the millions to choose.
What I'm looking to in a tablet:
- Good (to excellent) performance
- Big screen (around 10 inch), and a good one
- Supported by the forums (I'd like to install all different kinds of ROMs..)
- I came across the possibility to have dual-boot with Windows, so that'd be awesome (of couse win10)
- 64GB would be great
- Nice battery life
- And, of course, the cheaper the better (I don't want to spend more than 300$ on it)
I'm pretty sure I'm asking for too much, especially with the budget price, but can you guys please do me a favor and suggest me tablets around the specs I want?
Oh and I looked at Telcast's X98 Pro tablet, it was perfect, but problem is that the tablet isn't supported by the forums at all..
Thank you guys in advance!

[Completed] is there a way to buy a mid range phone & convert to STOCK android

Hi
Good day folks
I've been an iPhone user for long. Presently I'm using an iPhone 6. I've been wanting to test an android. My search lead me to various forums where I was advised that stock android is the safest, least troublesome. With a budget of $250 - $ 300 (max Max) I was told Nexus 5x is an option. Ultimately adding shipping etc, 5x, 6 etc were above budget !
So, I'm here with the question, "...is there a way to buy a reasonable phone within $250-$275 budget (+$25 shipping) & convert to stock Android ? Which phone and how ? how easy / cumbersome ?
TIA for tips and experiences
PS : I'm new here, so IF this is the wrong forum, please direct me.
Regards
Subu
