Dear Community,
Problem: Alarm doesn´t ring when setting it further than 30 minutes from now. (Example: Alarm set at 11:00 to ring at 11:30 -> Alarm ring at 11:30. Setting it to 11:31, no alarm will ring )
My suggestion: Clock-app terminates in sleep-mode.
Device: SAMSUNG Galaxy SL/SCL
O.S. SlimBean 4.3.1 (A3)
Configuration: Installed few apps, changed some settings, setted up alarms, uninstalled "daydream"-app.
Info: Already tried nearly every single ROM from 4.0 to 4.4.4 including CWM, AOSP, Slim Rom, MIUI, Pacman, Nameless, Liquidsmooth, and tons of others -> Same Problem
Thank you pro-bro./-sisters :fingers-crossed::good:

Hey
My s710 has developed a funny problem. The alarm seems to go off at 8:10am every morning. The alarm sound plays for 3 loops and then goes silent automatically, just leaving "alarm" written on the screen.
I have never installed any 3rd party alarm software or anything....this is the inbuilt alarm acting up. Changing the alarm time and all doesn't help. I tried changing the alarm time to 8:10 and then changing it again and restarting....still messed up (actually after doing this 2 overlapping alarms sound simultaneously now).
I'm using the latest official ROM from the HTC website:
WinMo 6 standard, CE OS 5.2.1622 (build 18128.0.4.4)
Any help on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure a fresh ROM install is the easiest fix, but I'd like to avoid that.
Thanks in advance
Search for sktools (skkvsoftware.com) and clean up your notification queue.
Thanks a lot for the reply. I've done what you said and deleted the couple of entries that looked like they were the ones setting it off (there were also tons of duplicate entries in there that needed cleaning).
I won't know if this has worked till 8.10am tomorrow morning....fingers crossed.
Thanks again.

Worked like a charm dude. thanks a lot.
Anyone else having problems with this? My problem is this: flashed Liberty 1.5 on my X, installed the Blur Alarm Clock from Liberty Tools. It appears to work fine, except that the alarms I set won't go off. It'll wake the phone up from sleep, but before the alarm starts sounding, it'll (at least appear to) FC.
I'd post this in the relevant dev thread, but as a new user, I can't.
Thanks
Hi
This week I tried several CM 7.1 ROMs with a factory reset on every install.
I always had the same problem: when I set the phone to 'vibrate always' and when I mute it (so that it would only vibrate) it doesn't vibrate. It vibrates when someone calls me but other notifications don't work. I tried with SMS, Gmail, twitter ...
And yes, I set the SMS and the Gmail to 'always vibrate'.
I don't have this problem on stock and on MIUI.
Am I the only one with this issue? How to fix this?
Sent from my Google Nexus S using XDA App
EDIT: I found the problem. When I let the setup wizard restore my settings, the vibration doesn't work. When I set up my Google account later, everything works fine. WTF.
Hi,
I'm running latest official ROM on my S6 (see details below). No root, completely stock.
I'm having major problems with notifications from "todo" apps (TickTick, Any.do) not working. This is what happens:
- I create a task and set a notification time, put the phone in my pocket
- When the notification should occur, nothing happens
- If I open the app, the task is there, and the notification is overdue, but it did not sound the notification alert
Notifications worked very nicely a few months ago, but after the last (two?) updates, this problem has occurred. I suspect this has to do with the ROM closing down running tasks when they haven't been used for a while, but I would expect such "todo" apps to be able to keep running in order to be able to trigger notifications. The app-optimizing feature is switched OFF.
I haven't yet tried resetting phone to factory settings to see if that helps.
Any ideas of what to do to fix this issue?
Anyone using either of above mentioned apps with success on this ROM version, i.e. notifications are working?
Thanks!
Ed

I have a Samsung T399 (T-Mobile version). For a while, I've used an android 4.4.2 rom (stock Metro-PCS, but I kept the T-Mobile modem). It had a very nice alarm widget built in which was 4x1 sections on the home screen, had a toggle button for the alarm on it, and could be set to show *any* alarm, not just the next one. My setup was to have several of these widgets, showing the alarms I use for various things, on a secondary home screen page.
Now, I've flashed a CM12 (android 5.0.2) rom: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-light/development/rom-cm12-light-beta-t3154688 which works *very* well; I have none of the problems described in the thread. However, the one thing I still miss from the Metro-PCS rom is the alarm widget. I can't find any that will show anything except the next upcoming alarm.
- What app can I use to fill my need?
- Alternately, can I get the app from the other rom? (I pulled the .apk and .odex from /system/app in a TWRP backup, but it won't install on the current rom and if I manually put it in /system/app/AlarmWidget (I notice all others have their own directory on this rom), I'm told "Unfortunately, Alarm has stopped." when I try to add it to the home screen.
