So hi!
I have problems with my new Device (Lenovo K3 Note/ Android 5.0) the Mobile Data is not working good. When i'm using Wi-Fi it's working properly, all pages, facebook, messenger, youtube etc. works good, but then when i'm using Mobile Data i can see that only Messenger works. All pages, facebook, youtube can't show me any signs of life.

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Check that your Acess Point Names, APN, is set up correctly. Check with your carrier for the correct ones. You can usually Google APN YourCarrierName
Hi again, thanks for your reply. APN is good, i tried to reset it, but again i haven't see any signs of life. So maybe any more suggestions? By the way, can i downgrade maybe android version?

Hi guys,
Wondering if anyone can help me fix this issue. Only started occurring today for some reason after a reboot.
Basically I'm logged in to XDA with the app, however I can't reply or view notifications etc as it comes up with an error "security error (user may not have permission to access this feature)"
The same error occurs when I try with tapatalk.
Strangely though I'm still getting notifications like before, I just can't view them when I open the apps.
I can log in with no problems using tapatalk on my iPad and using web browser.
Tried clearing cache, reinstalling apps, wiping app data and reboot with no success.
Is there any way to get these working again?
Also, this doesn't happen when I'm on wifi. I searched these forums and google and found one post from 2011 saying to uncheck 3g compatibility in settings but I can't find that setting anywhere in the app or in general phone rings

Same issue, i thought at first it may have been redirects through tapatalk servers breaking. Disabled those, with crappalins. After doing that it persisted and then found links from 2012/13 where the problem existed and they said that any links that involved search would be disabled via applications to help server load(as they were under heavy load)
I can't confirm as nobody else is talking about it but I'm still effected on/off. Hard linked threads like "Q&A" of any given device will work but things that require a search like "participated" for your username don't generally work.
Not a solution, but sharing of sufferage.

Do you also have the same problem with the XDA app? I find it really strange that this behaviour occurs over 2 apps.
It's also started occurring intermittently now ; may work completely fine for 3 days then it breaks for a couple of days.
I don't use XDA app but it's not the app. All times I've read of it both apps are effected. Its server side whether mobile portal overload or intentional dispersement of traffic by server Admins.

I have a somewhat similar problem, I can't seem to use this app while on my home wifi, but if I connect to my mobile network (Verizon) the app loads and works perfectly. My home wifi always causes the app to say failure to load, even though everything else with my home wifi works. Ive tried clearing data, uninstalling/reinstalling. No luck.

First of all, you revived a thread from 2014 lol.
And second, around the 30th of November, XDA will have a big update, including the app. So your problem may be fixed by the upcoming update. Read more here : https://www.xda-developers.com/big-changes-to-xda-forums-are-coming-soon/
Hi,
Is there a way using an app for instance that will download subscribed forums and messages to be able to read offline, where you have no signal ie: like a subway? I currently use an Android phone and this would help alot! I would use the XDA app if had this as an option.

Hi all. I have a strange problem with my device. On 4G I am not able to sync it with Google Servers, even if the exclamation point disapears of the icon. And it does seems to be just with Google, because I can navigate with anyother sites or apps that doesnt need autentication. Instagram, news websites, for example, works very well on LTE, but nothing about Google, i cant even make a research, even in the Chrome or in an app. The problem happens only in LTE, 3G signal works everything ok.
So, i though it was my SIMCARD, i went in the store and bought a new one, unfortunatly wasnt. Can anyone help me please? My mind is about to explode, i cant think in other possibilities for fix the issue.
Oh, i dont think its a signal problem either, my friends with LTE and using an Iphone for example dont have any problems. And my device either, as i said, i can use instagram for example normally, just apps that need sync like google or whatsapp.
Right now i am in 4G connection, posting here, but also i cant use whatsapp or google websites for example.

I am running android 4.3, rooted on an ascend mate 2. A while back I was able to post using the Facebook app by touching share, then with friends, at least I think that's what the option was if not its something very close. If I wanted to write something to it I selected the other option, but I can't remember the name of it. I factory reset my phone and can't figure out how to get that feature back. I didn't do anything in the first place all I did was install an update, don't remember which version. I am currently running Facebook version 33.0.0.0.7. Any help getting this back would be appreciated. I rarely write anything and mainly just share posts to my feed. Also I haven't installed any new root or other apps that would have changed any settings.

I have a big problem with my mobile data. My connectivity thing shows a exclamation mark, but it says 3g in the upper left corner.
But I can still use whatsapp and all other kinds of apps, like clash of clans for example. So it seems to only not work with browsers. When I open my browser and just type anything in the url and search it I get ''This website is not available" and it says"ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT". But if I use a vpn it all works without a problem. I have tried other browsers, but they don't seem to work either. I have a one plus 3 and I am using Telfort from The Netherlands.
Do you guys happen to know what is going on?
