[Q] Reading XDA in a offline mode - General Questions and Answers

Hi,
Is there a way using an app for instance that will download subscribed forums and messages to be able to read offline, where you have no signal ie: like a subway? I currently use an Android phone and this would help alot! I would use the XDA app if had this as an option.
Thank you for your help,
Bryan

I've searched a bit around but I cant find anything useful for my problem.
I just downloaded xda app from android market for Htc Legend with root & Cyanogen 6.1 on it...it works fine, but when I subscribe to any forum on the Desktop website it doesn't show up on the android app
If i subscribe to any thread...it works fine and appears in the android app Favorites -> Topics tab.
I do the same for forums and nothing shows up

You need a tasker plugin called "secure settings". It's free but not sure where I got it from however there are tasker guides in the apps forum here at xda that should have the appropriate links.

What's the app/feature that allows you to set rules/actions based on location, etc?

The stock ROM prompted me to check it out. It comes with samples that can be customized or you can create your own. I used it to setup automatic Wi-Fi enable and connect when I was near known networks. Now that I'm running Synergy I can't find the app or remember where to find this feature. Apologies in advance for the noobish question. I actually searched the forum a bit before positing. TIA

Automateit Pro, Tasker?
Thanks for the replies all. It was an app that came pre-loaded on the stock ROM. Since I'm not stock any more I can't remember what it's called. Anyone here still stock?
