can anyone create rom like galaxy grand or 4.3
rom
one more question
i have installed latest update on my xperia c using
sony pc companion but my s1 boot version is
2.14.J.0.68..and i want to install cwm or twrp but
they need latest s1 boot version can i update my
xc using .ftf file can it cause any damage.

Xperia C's bootloader cannot be unlocked,unfortunately it won't works.
You can flash the ftf,it won't cause any damage

Samsung's firmware not ftf or what..
And there's no way to flash uncompatible hardware files to a device.

Updating After Root

Hi guys, i rooted my z3 with giefroot tool.My version is 2.93 now.Can i update to 5.93?

No, you will lose root
You will have to wait until someone releases a pre-rooted flashable zip for the latest firmware. Then you can just flash it in recovery

Is there a way to root Samsung galaxy E5 running on Lollipop 5.1.1 ?

I want to root my E5 too :crying:

I think it will take time. E5 on 4.4.4 can be rooted by CF autoroot through odin but not 5.1.1

The Custom Recovery Works Fine But it will get into loop when Flash SuperSu.Zip

You can recovery it flashing a backup with Odin. PM if you want another recovery. I can't post links.

Hey guys, I have a Sony Xperia M2 on Android 5.1.1 18.6.A.0.175 rooted with this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-m2/general/unlocked-bl-root-sony-xperia-m2-android-t3214498 . Now there's a new update available fixing the camera and GPS issues. My question is should I do the update? Will my root be gone? Will it brick my phone? I don't know what to do, please help me! You can't update your phone via OTA if the bootloader is unlocked.

Ok thanks for the quick answer. So I need to download and flash the ftf-file and root it after it? will my data be gone after flashing the ftf?

Just flash linuxct's updated camera files from this new update then swap the GPS file for the KK one update done.
