Hi,
Do you use a Samsung tablets?
If yes, you shouldn't disable the boot animation because Samsung use non-standard bootanimation format (they use .qmg while the others use .zip format. Disable bootanimation will cause bootloops on versions newer than Jelly Bean. If you're lucky to bypass the black screen bootanimation, you should place back bootsamsung.qmg, bootsamsungloop.qmg, and shutdown.qmg to /system and set correct permissions (rw-r--r--).
If no, can you tell me the brand you use?

Hello I am searching for help. The problem is that my galaxy s2 i9100 stopped working properly. It started like this maybe I took out the battery or something I don't remember and then I turned it on the phone wouldn't boot. I thought maybe my android operation system got bricked so I decided to re flash it but as I can remember the phone wouldn't go in to download mode but some how I managed to reflash the firmware but then phone booted it just froze and then I pressed lock button the phone screen would go black and reboot. After installing cyanogen mode 11 the phone would boot and it could be used again until pressed the lock button it would go black and reboot so I have been reading forums and found problems like boot loop corrupted mmc or something else corrupted and I don't know what the real problem is because the symptoms are like boot loop or corrupted mmc or soft brick. I have already tried other kernels other android versions clock work mode

I have found that my emmc has the insane chip bug. The phone boots normally with cyanogen mode 11 but then it goes to sleep mode or I press the power button the screen goes black and the phone restarts. I have tried siyah kernel to try dual boot but then I flash siyah I cant get into recovery.
I think you should flash latest STOCK ROM with Odin, and then follow available custom rom instructions on xda...
Test if the stock rom will work for you, boot your phone etc... Try to use it a few days. If everything is OK, proceed with
further procedures...

I have already tried this but with the stock rom phone boots but at the section where I have to chose language I jus freezes stops working
So I think it is a hardware problem. Phone on stock rom shouldn't freeze on language selection. Something is wrong. If you are on warranty, let them fix it for you, if you are not, try to fix it in some phone repair point. I'm sure you can stop your attempts. It will not be better for now.

I got so careless in changing my Boot Animations. by clicking the Download and Install, when i pick this weird animation, then i download it , and it install automatically on my device. when i reboot my device, its stock on the Animation , and never end , my phone got really hot. and it still on the animation. I've tried resetting / hard reset several times, but nothing's change. When i turn on my device, it still stock on the animation. (PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS) is there any way to SKIP the Boot Animation? or something..
I was trying to change my boot animation. I rebooted my phone. everything was showing correct until the boot animation. as soon as it was time for boot animation, it just showed a black screen. the sound was still coming. the touch and everything is working but it is just the display. first I thought it was on the whole screen but later I accidently opened an app and tilted the phone. as soon as I tilt it, the right half of the screen shows but the left half won't. Please help experts.

So, after rooting my Orange Rono (finally), and getting the most of my phone, I decided to change the boot animation.
I changed one time, the phone rebooted ok, but it was pretty low-res, so then I tried an Android L 1080p 60fps boot animation,
after reboot it slowly shutters and then freezes completely, thing from I can go back only by resetting to factory and wiping cache.
Then I reboot the phone and get a bootloop, restart it and it boots fine, then it updates apps and stuff.
If I restart it again, I get the same problem.
The same behavior I saw being described by: The Dark Defender in the thread [SOLVED!] Help with bootanimation resolution at post #5:
Another problem
@metpolds The bootanimation you made is perfect, but for some reason my phone slowly stutters than freezes on almost the last couple of frames. The only way to stop it is to launch fastboot mode and go into recovery and system restore to a backup I luckily did not too long ago. It did this with another bootanimation as well. Hmm definitely phone related. It really stinks because I know it isn't a problem with the animations. Do you have any ideas on what might be causing this or how to fix? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Oh, and also don't know if it'll help but right before it freezes the screen's brightness drastically dims, almost like when it unlocks.
EDIT: Fixed! Turns out my boot logos need to be mp4 format because im using stock ROM. I'll get the hang of things eventually lol.

.
So, my question is, can a boot animation cause this kind of problem?
It probably is a memory overflow/leak.
Managed to root again, installed another boot animation, everything is back to normal.
But, can anyone explain me why it does this?

May be the bootanimation resolution and frames aren't compatible with your phone
Hit thanks if helped
Download Boot animations for Your Phone or try any 3rd Party app!
Hello,
I have a Sony Xperia E and I wanted to change the boot animation of it. I had done it before so I knew how to change it. So I downloaded a boot animation I thought looked nice, but it originally wasn't for my screen size (320x480). I decided to unzip the boot animation file and change the desc.txt file to the right dimensions of my phone. After doing that I compressed the file and named it boot animation. I then placed this boot animation in the same place as the boot animation that was installed on my phone and I clicked "replace" on the window that popped up. I then rebooted my phone, But when it was turning on I noticed that the screen was all black and 15 min later it's still black. My screen stays black forever and I can't do anything.
I had already changed my boot animation twice, using the exact same method, and y phone was rooted.
I don't know what to do and if it's possible to repair it or install a rom on it without having to go to a shop but if anyone out there sees this message and knows what I could do to repair my phone, that would be very nice !!
Thank you,
adhyft
