Hey guys...
since i got my new Samsung Omnia 7 from france i've been trying to get it connected to the 3g internet in the country I live (Israel), with no luck.
i've noticed that the symbol next to the signal bars is 3G+ and not 3G.
how can i define the connection to my carrier's 3G?
i have no apn defined what so ever and i uninstalled the network profile which was installed here.
please help me, im running out of ideas

solved: Sorry for messing with ya, just needed to set my apn with my cellular carrier adress. thanks anyways!
Owner of the Star N8000 dual sim, I would like to know the Simple Mobile APN settings for the N8000 because Simple can't give the apn settings because they can't identify the phone. Will the N8000 give 3G or 4G or Edge on Simple Mobile in the USA?

Anybody have working APN setting for Simple Mobile to get 3G or 4G? PM me if you have info as I am only able to get Edge

so i have a star n8000 as well im trying to figer out how to get the edge network on this device , have done the apn settings 4 times and still have no data on 3g or the edge network im using att at the moment , but soon will be suing simple mobile ! if u now how please let me no so i can at least get edge network..thanks

Hi, I'm not a lawyer but I can tell u my simple mobile current Edge Go Settings->Mobile Networks->Access Point Names->Name type Simple->MMSC type http://10.165.193.23/mms/wapeme->Menu select Save then Turn Off then On
Now this is for Edge and if anyone knows 3G settings please post on this thread!
For AT&T proxy 66.209.11.33, port 80 select menu then save turn off then on next pull down menu select data comm on! "H" should appear
Apn settings for 3G on simple mobile?
Hi
I am currently in the US for holiday. Bought two prepaid att go phone cards already in Germany and activated them. The Data connection in my wifes SAMSUNG SIII mini (stock) works as it should.
In my HTC ONE SV I only get EDGE working. No matter which APN settings I use as soon as I switch on something else as GSM only in Network data plan.it disconnects completely from Mobile and states "Service not available"
My SV is unlocked and rooted and running with the Russian ROM
Any quick suggestion what can help,
Edit: I went to a AT&T shop here. They were very helpful but couldn't get it working. Tried more things and at one point all APN settings were gone. After that I tried for the first time the "Reset to default" and it loaded the ATT Phone settings.
After a restart everything works. I have here with H sign in taskbar a download of 5Mbps and upload of 1Mbps.

I am new to the forums, so please go easy on me.
A quick back story....where I live, I have to use a Verizon Network Extender to make and receive calls & texts from home. VZW's Extender only works with 3G. Since the upgrade to 4.1.1, the mobile network menu only has choices of Global, LTE/CDMA and GSM.
Until yesterday, I have been using an app called Phone Info to manually set my mobile network to CDMA Auto (PRL) when I got home and it worked perfectly. Since the update, the Phone Info app no longer works and I cannot find an app that will allow me the same access to set my mobile network. I receive just enough of a 4G signal where I live that my phone will not auto switch to 3G. So now I have an expensive paperweight at home.
Can anyone point me to an app or tweak that could help me with this problem?

Hi, I recently bought a LG g3 smarthphone and I found out that it's an AT&T version phone, but thankfully it's unlocked. My problem is, that it doesn't get any mobile network. In the setting it says that the Mobile network type this device can use is HSPA, my local carriers can only provide LTE, GSM and WCDMA rat types, I don't know if it's the case. I've tried to solve this on my own, but without luck. The solutions with 3845#*850# or similar codes just woun't work, when I choose any RAT it says: "succsess", but it doesn't change a thing and when I choose "LTE only mode", the phone blocks my mobile connection and says: "Restricted access changed: Data service is blocked" .
I really need any help, because I cannot see myself using a mobile phone without mobile internet. I tried to use 2G, 3G and 4G networks, but none work, nothing appears. Also I tried to fix this problem by flashing a Cloudy ROM wich is lollipop 5.0 and it didn't solve my internet problem. BTW, my location is Estonia.
I really need your help guys, I'm desperate as hell, this is my last option, because I didn't find any other solutions on my own.

I think your a little confused about your network. HSPA IS WCDMA/GSM. You want to just slept gsm/WCDMA/LTE

Flashing a ROM is not the solution. AT&T version of the LG G3 covers a limited radio frequency spectrum. It could be that the phone does not cover the frequency of your carrier. Another issue may be with the carrier themselves blocking the IMEI (I know some carriers require registering the IMEI on their network). Of course you must also make sure the carrier has data services available to you.
I kinda have the same problem....
No service.
I've tried everything to no avail.
Help gor a fix.
