I have seen a few pages on this about how the 5.1 rom has been let out for this device but they're all ad-infested where you have to order this or take some idiotic survey. And let's be honest here, people who are doing "real" work and trying to really help people don't force them to order things or run through surveys to get to something that might or might not be real.
Has anyone here seen a definitive 5.+ rom for this device, stock or custom?
It's been a while since this was originally asked, so I thought I'd bump it.
I just purchased a Digiland DL701Q and I'd sure like to get lollipop running on it.
Has anyone been able to accomplish it yet? Is it even possible?
Thanks!
Me too waiting for it. please let me know if its available
Anything?

Why have they have not posted the stock recovery images yet! This is killing me I'm getting sick and tired of waiting. If they are not up by the end of the night I don't know what I will do. What do you guys think the problem is?
Why does it matter?

You should have made a nandroid image of your system when it was stock and tucked it away on your computer someplace for safe keeping. There's stock nandroid images in the development section if you need one.
That said, I'd like to see Google post something we know is straight from them and 100% pure.
Lots of people griping Google hasn't posted them, but has anyone actually bothered to ask them if they will, and when they will? Perhaps over on the Google Help Forums where that ry_guy seems very responsive to questions? Maybe it's just an oversight and not some nefarious plot to deprive us of stock images.
Wouldn't hurt to ask Samsung either. Perhaps tweet it to @galaxyssupport. They'll just tell you they'll pass it along to google, but if enough people bug them about it, maybe they really will...
check out the stock image in DEV forum with Odin, and original ROM out of the box
the oldest version without any of the recent OTA
Let me first start by saying. I'm sure alot of people will find this annoying but after searching countless forums on various sites all across the web I can't find a definitive answer. Has the Verizon Wireless SCH-I535 4.4.2 I535OYUDNE1 3.4.0 Kernal Bootloader been unlocked? Most posts I see are several months old and some people say no one cares and there will never be an unlock, others claim it's in the works, some claim it has been done but I can't find a link or posting stating without a doubt it has been done and how to do it. So my question to recap is ( Has the locked bootloader successfully been unlocked? If so where can I find the instructions on how to do so?) I did successfully manage to root and grant SuperSU but then wound up getting the ! Yellow triangle of death and had to re-flash stock. I have a great deal of stupidity when it comes to newer tech but have thus far enjoyed tinkering and feeling around in the dark to learn. After all "Discovery requires experimentation." Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out. Or just give me a straight and certain answer.

Straight and simple answer - no, it has not been unlocked and likely never will be unlocked.
Balls! That sucks. Damn Verizon. Should've guessed as much. What did I expect? So many people praise them but I get ******* service everywhere I go. And I live in a major US city. Thanks for your reply though. I'll stop holding my breath. I do have one last question. I've seen posts of people flashing CM11-12 on the SCH-I535 does that include the Verizon 4.4.2 or not? I assume it doesn't but in the off chance it does would you provide a link to the relevant manual? Thanks again.

If they are on CM there bootloaders are unlocked. And no that does not include those who took the OTA to 4.4.2

Hello all,
I just bought a Transformer Pad TF0310C (after a bunch of research it looks like it is the Best Buy exclusive version of the TF103C which unfortunately has an Intel quad core, 1gb ram, 16gb storage), I am guessing there probably are no roms, or really anything at all for this device (spent an hour or so yesterday trying to find any and all I really found were posts of people trying to figure out what this device equivalent was to try and see if the roms will work for it)? I wish I had researched a bit more before I bought it, but too little too late (it was only $85~ so no huge deal). Assuming there are no roms for it, is it possible to adapt a current rom over to this architecture?
I am familiar with linux, several programming languages (not an expert in any, but definitely know enough of each to get any job done that I have needed thus far), manipulating devices to suit my needs, etc, so I feel that if I had enough documentation and resources available I could get something going, as long as someone with more experience tells me that it is indeed at least possible. There are probably going to be quite a few more people who are going to be looking for them as well as this device is currently a "best seller" on woot.com as a refurb, so I am hoping to try and help not only myself, but possibly the community as a whole by trying to provide at least a rom for the device, if nothing else, it will be a great learning experience for me.
Thanks all!

Hi, I am in the same boat as you and was just wondering if you found anything more on this? Unfortunately, I am not a DEV at all so wouldnt be able to help you out other than perhaps testing things? I have rooted many devices and am surprised there is nothing for this one..- Thanks!

Hey there, I have came across a few things. It looks like at least rooting is possible, it was found and tested that the process and tools to do so from the TF103C work on the TF0310C as well from a forum post I found that I had to use chromes google translate to read here : http://www.phonandroid.com/forum/comment-rooter-votre-asus-tf103c-k010-tf0310c-t101416.html I found it at work yesterday and was going to do more research but am still in the process of moving, so my evening was filled with nothing but moving boxes, lol. I will be doing more research though. I believe it is possible to install Clockworkmod recovery using the TF103C image as well, which might mean that if there are any roms for it, they might work for ours as well!
Here are a few things I found that may or may not end up being useful
http://marshmallow-rom.net/download/rom-asus-transformer-pad-tf103c/
http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/xda-assist/asus-transformer-pad-tf103c-k010-bricked-t2889843
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/comprehensive-guide-unbricking-asus-t3106719
(This one, I read on another forum, can be used if you want to possibly install windows 8 on it.)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/x98-air/general/teclast-x98-air-3g-tablet-9-7-2048x1536-t2913035
Thank you for the great info. Did you end up trying anything? I was thinking about trying the tutorial from the marshmallow- rom forum but am a little nervous.

The information I have been able to find here and on the web for this device is rather old, so I am doing this thread in hopes of receiving some new information.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26635332#post26635332
I see this thread, and would like to try it but would appreciate updated information regarding it, as the last post is nearly 3 years old. Is this thread still correct? Is this the best answer for the Crossover?
I've seen stuff I'd like to try but am not the one to be the first. I'd like to not brick my device.
Is this phone capable of installing Replicant or CyanogenMod? Their sites do not list it as being able but also possible is that nobody cares about it.
Is there something else that would be better for this device? It is kinda weak, especially by today's standards. I really only use it to play music and voice record, but it can do more, I am sure. What is some possible recommendations for this device besides just using the stock OS?
I recently did a factory reset on it and found to my surprise that the play store no longer works. It has 'market' installed but the market app crashes. I found f-droid and am relatively happy with it but would like to make the most of the device. Your expert opinion on it would be very helpful. Thanks.

Hi friimynd. I couldn't find much information about your device here so I recommend just posting in that thread if you can't find any updated information. Your device is not that common here so there aren't that many topics to pick from.
So, I finally laid down the fat stack for an S7, and I went with Straight Talk because I'm not big on contracts. I was itching to throw a rom on it right away, but it looks like there is only one that may be compatible. I'd settle for root though and went about my research. Eventually, I settled on trying to follow this thread, as it seems to apply to pretty much any variant.
Now, my question is, if I were to follow this method and successfully obtain root, I know my phone will show up as a G930V, but will I still be able to use my Straight Talk service on it? Also, any other information pertaining to my situation would be much appreciated, in terms of root and any roms. I know most people say it's overrated nowadays, and mostly unnecessary, but I want to tinker and I like having complete freedom over my device.
Sorry if this has been posted before, but after many hours, I'm still a bit lost in the web of information. Two variants, and multiple carriers, two different boards, MM/Nougat, etc, etc. I'd just like a bit of clarification, thanks a ton!
EDIT
It would seem this thread is what I need to follow to obtain root. I'm still open to any thoughts or suggestions, but I guess my main question is will my Straight Talk account still work if I use this method?
Or would I be better off following this tutorial?
Thanks again!
Nothing huh, nobody knows, or even has an idea?
Hmm.

Yes, sometimes there is a paucity of folks knowing, and then being willing to respond. Hope you got it figured out.
