Bootloader unlock on Lollipop? - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys I'm new here. I bought Moto G XT1032 in Germany. Updated it to Lollipop but I want to root it and install Xposed. I tried many times but fast boot drivers for Falcon S cannot install on my pc with Windows 7. Earlier when I tried I had message that my device cannot be unlocked. Any advice?

Check the Motorola website for instructions on how to unlock the bootloader. You need a special code to do so which may be the reason why you can't unlock it. Secondly the drivers should install fine... You could try with a different computed if you have one.

What about xposed query?

@A_Bunny I tried on diff PC but when I write the code site said that bootloader in my Moto G cannot be unlocked. Xposed Query? What's that?

[Q] Roms for the Moto G GPE

IM no newb. But i cant find a rom that works or any info on how to trouble shoot my prob.
I have the Moto G GPE bought from the play store.
Its Rooted using Philz Touch CWM recovery.
Getting encryption error every time I install roms.
what am i doing wrong?
PLease help
i think most roms are aimed at the 'stock' moto g.
what i did was convert it to the standard version then stuck on a recovery/rom etc.
use this thread if you want to go down the same route:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219
it's really easy to do (just a few fastboot commands) and will take you about 10-20 mins.
good luck

i'm in England so used the en.GB version, but yes, that'll put you on the 'retail' version, which afaik doesn't have network branding etc.

I prefer custom firmwares.... They just have more functionality integrated and I prefer that....Though rooted with xposed and a bunch of cool modules is pretty good too

yes it will lose warranty but there's always the possibility of the service center not knowing you've rooted and unlocked bootloader if you flash back stock rom.

Rooted Moto G Successfully
Hi,
This is excellent.
I was facing problem with me Moto G KK 4.4.4 that loosing signal in both SIM card some times and delay in getting Signal. After reading this nice guide I have rooted Moto G, to see whether the problem solved or not. Currently its working fine.
I have installed greenify- Battery backup increased automatically
Will try Gravity Box
Now my question is- Will my device upgrade to Lolipop when Motorola will release it for Indian dual version phone?
Suggest few more application which will keep phone healthy...
I need the following with full version
1. Poweramp player (patch not working)
2. call recorder (record should be from both side)

No Lollipop for India (XT1033)?

If you look at the software update news page of Motorola, and scroll down to where you purchased the device, the dual-sim Indian version of Moto G isn't listed.
We're probably not going to get an early update for our XT1033 devices.

don't worry. when you have a look at the other providers like t-mobile or verizon etc, the xt1032 (single sim) doesn't appear either. it is probably the case, that motorola just haven't added the devices in the provider list, but i am sure that everybody can still enjoy android lollipop when it gets released
its confirmed already dude you must go to country option in site and select india you can find the info . check out this link https://motorola-mobility-en-in.custhelp.com/app/software-upgrade-news/g_id/2014#gs=eyJndWlkZUlEIjoyMDE0LCJxdWVzdGlvbklEIjoxLCJyZXNwb25zZUlEIjoxOSwiZ3VpZGVTZXNzaW9uIjoiSHprV3R0NW0iLCJzZXNzaW9uSUQiOiJIemtXdHQ1bSJ9

when you select Retail from the dropdown menu,
you will get this message
"This device will be upgraded to the Android 5 Lollipop release of Android, pending partner support."
Soak tests for xt1033 have already started and we will get the update by the end of november or December first week.
sorry if this is a stupid question, but if i've already unlocked the bootloader, and installed root and recovery but i didnt change/modify the original ROM 4.4.4 from my moto G, to get the lolipop update, i just need to install the original "stock" recovery or i will need to flash everything (firmware/radio/originalrom, etc) again? thanks

Update your bootloader -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59520890&postcount=233
41.13 is a Moto G 2013 (Falcon) bootloader. If you really own a Moto G 2014 (Titan) you will brick your device using those bootloaders that I linked and you also posted in the wrong forum. So be careful what you do
God I ve got 2013 model sorry , THANKS FOR UR HELP!

How did you root? Only systemless root works, you must not use the root function built in to TWRP, if you did you will need to restore your backup (you did backup first, right???) and flash the appropriate SuperSU.
But systemless root how to do ?
Give me procedure
And what type of twrp I should use for moto g3 marshmallow?
