Hello, is there any way to dim the light on the Watch?
There's the settings on the watch (settings icon/display). Apart from that don't think so.
there is no function for brightness control in settings..

There should be...
1. Settings
2. Display
3. Brightness
If it is missing, there is something wrong... Try to restart your watch, or reset the watch to see, if it helps.

Whatever the issue is. Some solve pls
Wake lock detection isnt even close to providing me with enough information.
I have included screenshots.
I left my phone unplugged overnight and it COMPLETELY drained it to 0.
Would not even completely boot up and it would just die.
I would gladly give any additional information.
Try this:

Turn off double tap to awake. Please report back which method worked
Wld screenshots only show small minutes of wake locks for stuff. Android os is the problem. Try what was suggested above and see over time which fixes it. I would try timmaaa fix before turning off double tap to wake if you use that feature otherwise turn it off too

That feature doesn't cause wakelocks. The problem is caused by Google Play Services.

Got my OPO and tested. You are right [emoji106]
Hello!
I have the problem that Android OS is using too much energy, keeps the CPU running for at least twenty minutes per hour. I lose 2-3% per hour without doing something although i do not have any wakelocks (checked with BBS). What could i do to get the stunning battery of the one back? I am running stock rooted with franco r35.
Thanks for your help!

Maybe just try to make a factory reset.
Much Energy, very wow

No, the drain in Android OS is caused by Google Play Services. It wakes the device every minute and keeps it awake for 15 seconds, which means it's awake about 25% of the time. No amount of factory resets will fix that.

I have already denied wake up and keep awake in settings, if i tap Google play services in Android Tuner, it force closes every time, so i cannot deny something.

Did you read the intro to the thread? You don't need to use Android Tuner 99% of the time, just do the Privacy Guard part and you should be fine.

Maybe you should have mentioned that in your OP then.
I did not know that Android OS and play service are related. But i do not want to fight... Do you have another idea?
After a few hours on battery, post screenshots of the Kernel Wakelocks, Partial Wakelocks, Alarms, and Other sections of BBS.

I let it sit for 2 1/2 hours. The drain is now gone, although android os is still shown as the highest drainer.
Attached Screenshots!

yep, event0, event2 and sometimes qcom_rx_wakelock. from my testing, i've found out that once i turn wifi off, they disappear. especially qcom_rx_wakelock. when i reset my router and even changed it, those wakelocks were heavily reduced. from 4 hours to like 13 minutes.
what i believe is the cause, is either there is a rogue app that causes these wakelocks specifically with wifi, or there is a fault with some routers and cm that cause these wakelocks.

So what would you suggest me? The 7113 is running as an AP for WiFi in my room, but the 7330 SL is our Main Router and i cannot reset it.
What irritates me is that Android OS is first in battery history with 50% more than every other app, even on 3G, when the event wakelock should not be present
sorry to sneak in , but in my OPO, Batter Monitor Widget says that in 9,5 hours
netd drained 156mAh
system_server drained 108mAh
surfaceslinger drained 87mAh
is that normal? to me it looks like a leak

You can see from the Alarms tab of BBS that Whatsapp is waking the device quite a few times an hour. You've got apps like that, as well as Drive, Facebook Messenger, and probably other Google services that are syncing while you're not using the phone. You didn't really leave the device long enough (less than two hours) to have enough statistics to analyse though.

Hi, I made this app as a fork of the Xposed Enable Ambient Display app, because it would not work on my phone (which already has ambient display enabled, but not the handwave / proximity gesture)
The app when installed, and the service activated, will bring up the black screen that is used to peek at notifications (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/D...isplay/master/screenshots/ambient-display.png) when you wave at the proximity sensor, or take it out from your pocket.

Cheers!
There's no way of enabling this for samsung phones?

Very interesting. Only one question: and about the battery? Consumption is high?

Well, for starters, your kernel has to support it, I believe. I am not very sure - I don't delve into the realm of hardware.
On my device, it was enabled after this commit was merged : http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/119408/
On some devices, this module might work http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.dvd.android.xposed.enableambientdisplay - it did not work on mine, but worked on my roommate's device - this module would actually disable ambient display on my phone for some reason, so I have made a standalone app from the service in it.

In all, likelihood, yes. It will be high.
Wish this worked on nexus 5x. You ever think about making it a XPOSED module? I think lots of people would find it useful.

I just received my mix2s last weekend, and I have been using it for several days.
But through these days, I find it that when you turned off the automatic brightness, and the phone is displaying some dark or black contents, the brightness will get lower by itself, but when you turn to some colorful or brighter contents, the btightness will get back to normal itself.
so I'm wondering is there anyone got the same problem like me? and how can I turn it off? I mean, just don't turn down the brightness itself when showing dark contents.
Just checked it on my phone and you are right, screen becomes darker when you display dark content. Also with auto brightness disabled. Maybe it has something to do with the automatic contrast settings
Edit: I was right, if you disable automatic contrast the brightness stays like you set it

can you tell me where is the "automatic contrast" settings? seems that miui just deleted it
It seems to be a problem since the last mix 2. you can try search on google and on this forum.
There are few fixes you can do, just go over the search. I didn't do it myself because I just manually adjust the brightness myself. It is pretty annoying though.

thank you, it works. But is there any way to keep brightness stay with automatic contrast enabled? I bought this phone in China, but the screen of Chinese version mix2s seems extremely yellow if I don't enable automatic contrast :crying:

Maybe with a third party app that changes the contrast? You would need root privileges for an app like this I think...

Thank you I could not figure out what was causing this on my phone. When watching Youtube on lowest brightness at night the screen would fluctuate and it drives me crazy. Did not know that had something to do with it but now I know.
This is an old thread, but it's high on Google rankings, so I'm adding to it.
I think my main annoyance with this is the position of the sensor. If I'm typing or scrolling with my thumb, it seems I'm covering the sensor with my hand, so it thinks it's gone dark, so decreases brightness.
Disabling the auto brightness fixed it for me
