Hi,
May I ask why you'd like to revert before you revert?
I had issues but solved them, so now I see no point in reverting.

you need to S-OFF the device if you want to downgrade
in S-ON you can't
take a look here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1661631
if you follow the S-OFF procedure then there is no need to use the other guide from my previous post
is there any risk doing the wire trick?

i don't think so
just make the contact(during the wire trick) in the correct time so you can have S-OFF in less time

If I root my phone and stay on this factory CM, will I receive OTA updates?
Yes, as long as you're running CM11S you'll still get OTA updates.

Hello everyone,
I am looking for help with my HTC M8 I am running custom Rom Venom. I would like to upgrade to the newly released Verizon 4.4.4. However since I have TWRP this is not happening. I also used sunshine to achieve unlock and S-off. So my questions are
1) What is the best way to flash back to stock or do I want to ?
2) If a flash to stock will I loose what sunshine gave me ( unlock & S-off )
3) Can I do a manual flash of the OTA
Thanks in advance everyone !! Love this Forum XDA !!

There are plenty of 4.4.4 roms you can flash in the development section...just make sure you update your firmware first. Super easy to do (much easier than returning to stock to take OTA).
Read the OP in this thread carefully and you'll have what you need.

Let me tell the hole story, I have a HTC One M7 TMobile. Unlocked it, rooted it and was trying to install google play version when i read that i would need s-off. I couldn't turn it s-off because my hboot is 1.57 and i didn't find any tool working on it. But then I saw a guide explaining how to install a custom rom without s-off tried to install venon and it failed. I realized I couldn't start the stock rom, so I entered in clockworkmod and flashed it from sideload. Now the stock rom started, but my screen isn't working.
Any help?

But to follow this guide I need to s-off and I couldn't s-off my phone as I didn't find any tool that works properly in hboot 1.57 thats why I'm stuck.

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
This is how far out-of-times I am - I thought the YU devices came with CyanogenOS. Looks like they have their own stock now.
This shouldn't be too difficult, as (it looks like) CM12.1 exists already for this device.
So...I am connecting this thread to the forum your device experts can be found:
> YU Yuphoria > Yuphoria Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Please note, to respond to replies, you will need to register for an XDA account.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
i also thought its CM version but its in Android , now i want CM , pls help
Its very easy. Fastboot flas the factory image thats it.

If you flash stock then it wouldn't void warranty.

If your yuphoria is older one which comes with cyanogen os there is not any issue of warrenty. You can root, unlock its bootloader flash custom rom etc.
But if you have new yuphoria comes with android 5.1.1 of its own os. There is an issue of warranty. If you root, unlock bootloader will lead to void of warranty.
Thanks for your reply.
