I was just wondering if anyone knows where I can get one that's nice and thin. Got the one they had a T-Mobile and it adds so much thickness! !!! Leme know! Thanks

I've got the Incipio case on my Nexus One - it's a *really* thin silicone gel + a harder plastic-ish snap-on. It's similar to the Otterbox Commuter case, but much thinner.
Thanks man. Exactly the kind I want.

Yeah thanks for that, I've been wanting something exactly like this too.
I have the otterbox commuter, and it is too bulky, coupled with the smooth hard plastic shell it makes the phone hard to hold on to. Trouble is, I believe you need the extra hard plastic shell, so that the silicone protection at the edges of the screen don't easily pull away, like it does with just a bare silicon case.
Hopefully this one is better, will see when it arrives, I'm so sick of trying to find the perfect case for me.
how about boxwave or casemate? anyone use there stuff? i like the boxwave silicone gel cover. fixing to order that one. I have the bse on it now but i like a little bit more protection, if you know what i mean. i like the ultra feather plastic case though. i don't know how much protection it will give but it looks simple and clean.
I've got the Case-Mate Gelli Case Grey. I like the CM better then the Otterbox Commuter Case.

Ok well I got this Incipio silicylic hybrid case today, and I'm not that impressed.
It looks nice, and does give the extra support for the silicone down each side of the screen I was looking for. But they've totally cocked up the bottom of the case...
There is no real protection between the trackball and the USB port. The hard plastic is totally cut away there to the back of the phone, leaving a flimsy flap of silicone horizontally between the ball and port. Also the plastic and silicon is cut away right out past the dock port pins, leaving the phone body exposed to a straight down drop on its arse end due to this gaping cutout.
The plastic shell also has very sharp edges at that massive gaping cutout at the bottom too, so it needs dremmeling right out of the box.
If only they'r run a strip of plastic along that edge between trackball and usb port and not just silicone, none of this would be an issue, and it would have been my perfect case. Grrrr.
Do any of these cases allow the use of the desktop or car dock or do they block the pins/are too bulky?

Too bulky, the nexus dock only just fits the bare phone. In saying that, its not that the cases are that bulky (except maybe the otterbox ones), just that that the dock is a bit fussy about who it takes for a ride.

True, but I don't find it that bad, personally. I agree that plastic would have been nice, but since it snaps at the bottom, they would have had to entirely redesign the hard plastic shell.
I *did* have to dremel the headphone port just a bit to fit some of my speakers and headphones - the silicone flap still fits nicely, though, and if you have slender headphones, it probably won't be a problem.
Does anyone know where to get a all white hard cover type case? I see the SGP one but it says the speaker does not line up correctly. Is their any other out their?

That case sucks so badly. I returned it two days later. the rubber around the hard case edges peels and gets messed up after moderate usage putting in and out of pockets.
The white case-mate has been holding up for me perfectly fine. Had it 2 weeks now, looks as good as when I bought it.

SGP speaker cutout is not perfectly aligned, but it does not affect speaker volume at all. I've got the black one. I also bought the TPU case and Otterbox Impact case. The SGP is my favorite of the three. I returned the Otterbox & keep the TPu as a backup.
Keep in mind the SGP is perfect for someone who removes the case from the phone on a daily basis. Literally takes 1/2 a second to do.
But on the flip side, it's not a super tight fitting case. More like "adequate".
I ended up getting a clone of the SGP off Ebay for $9. It fits perfect. But it adds alot of bulk to the phone which I do not like. I think I will probably go with the ghost armour

Then it's not much of a "clone", since the SGP adds no bulk at all.

I have this white Casemate case from AT&T. It fits great and feels great when holding the phone. My only complaint is that the auxiliary cable that I use in my car cannot make a connection (no connection at all!) to the jack due to the hole in the case being too small. I don't want to buy another cable to fit the case. This was the only case AT&T had for this phone, too.

Yeah! I enjoy the hell out of mine, and the customer service, and quick shipping is awesome.
I received the white rearth usa case for my skyrocket early this week.
Very nice Case. I had to chuckle because the headphone plug is actually a bit too snug I think I'm going to have to gouge it slightly I have spot to grab on it to be able to more easily remove it to plug a headphone jack in.
I also wish it didn't expose the chrome side strip like it does, but its still a nice case. Very happy with it.
edit: Just realized when the plug is put in correctly there is a white tab that sticks out on the back to grab... whoops.

Just ordered the alpine white case. Will post pics if needed next week when i receive it.
I'm looking at 2 different cases.
1st option - http://www.amazon.com/Incipio-DualP...sim_cps_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=0M3010SWQ9QEC98D0Q9E
I currently have used had Incipio's dualpro style on my Nexus, and I really like it. It provides decent grip without being so sticky, I can't get it out of my pocket. The corners are tough too - I've dropped it and taken a nick out of the corner with no damage to the phone. My only problem is that there has been a review where someone has mentioned excess plastic around the headphone hole - that will probably make it difficult with large plastic headphone jacks.
2nd option - http://www.amazon.com/Galaxy-Case-Spigen-Slim-Armor/dp/B00I3UWGJW
It's really my only drawback to going with it over the Spigen (which I love the look of much better). I like the Spigen that it matches the feel of the naked phone, but the hard plastic just doesn't make it up around the corners, and I'm not sure how much I like the idea of the just the rubber (even with the shockproof air cushion) being the only thing that provides support to a corner drop.
WHAT I NEED FROM YOU...
I can't find a picture of the top of the Incipio case showing the headphone jack. If you've seen one, or have one of these cases and the headphone jack is adequate, could you reply. I've even thought about rounding the hole out when I get it (assuming I thought I could do it without it being too jacked up looking). Also, please let me know what you think about either case.
Thanks in advance.
I have both.
The Incipio case is thicker and would be more equivalent to the Spigen Tough Armor, not the Slim Armor.

On the Incipio DualPro, is the headphone jack restrictive? It appears to have a much smaller hole, and a review on amazon said that you may have trouble with larger auxiliary cables?
Thanks again!
Define "restrictive"
The hole itself is pretty big, but it's a decent size, but it's a think case.

Thanks, man. I found this video after I asked. I ended up going with incipio, and we'll just hope it's port lets all headphone cables fit in. I'll post back in case others ate comparing these two.
Another reason why I went with the incipio is the coloring. The white which I love of the spigen, I feel will really show dirt. I need something that will look good later on. As much as I love the spigen, I opted for something I already had (dual pro on the nexus) and new was pretty tough.
Thanks, guys.

I've had both. With the incipio case I did have a few issues with headphones, but not many. Same with my slim armor. I do prefer the slim armor, because the TPU doesn't stretch out as much as the rubber with the Incipio case when the case is repeatedly removed. Also, the white Slim Armor case does not stain and turn yellow like the whit Incipio case did, which btw I couldn't get clean with anything; magic erasers, bleach, wood alcohol, regular alcohol, windex. Nothing worked. And then I got a red one and the coating pealed off. So there was that. But supposedly the incipio case fits with the wireless charging back, where the slim armor does not. Hope this helped.
Today i went shopping for a new case for my galaxy s8 plus. I found a case made of real carbon. Its a hyper thin case with cut outs for volume, bixby and power button. The case was quite expensive around 80 Dollars. A little metal plate inside is to fix it in your car with A magnetic holder. Now i have two questions.
The case seems quite stiff and they supplied a little carton lifter to fit it in the case without damaging the power button. Could the carbon scratch the glas body? And would the metal plate somehow ditsurb the wirless charging?

How's your signal for cell, wifi and bt? As far as I know carbon fiber can interfere with signal strength. Carbon fiber should be stiff also. Depending on how much you remove and put on case it could scratch it. Also why Kevlar title???
Kevlar was a mistake. Its offcourse not kevlar, its carbon. So far it does not seem to interfer with the cell signal. Its amazing how thin this thing is. Im torn apart if its enough protection or more dangerous because of its hardness while removing and installing.
Pretty sure the metal plate will kill wireless charging.

80 bucks for a case? Ouch. My speigen case looks identical, offers same protection, and was only 15 bucks. I think you should get your money back lol

how thick is the back in mm or in? do you think you could fit a metal plate between the TPU and the hard polycarbonate to make it work with a magentic mount?
Sucks than my nylon bumper is to thick and slides from the magnetic mount
Also if you have a scale could you tell me how many grams does it weight and also how is the raisivity on the edges for when putting the phone face down or in case of a drop?
Thanks!

haha it does! I can't unsee it now! I wouldn't be able to use that case
Not a fan of it or Tudia cases in general.
I only bought it because no other cases in the U.S market were good. The clear cases are just stupid, and that one case with the carbon fiber top and bottom is very thin so I had to go with the protective daddy

I ended up ordering this one too, that otterbox was just too thick for me. Ebay has a 20% off sale going on now and you can find nylon cases marked up to $30 but it ends up having free shipping and it's in stock. I might grab one of those after seeing the replacement for a back panel was only $19.20 + labor.
Just received mine. So far ok. I like the added weight it gives. Wish the front lip was a little higher and the back is a bit slippery. Last one saved my OPO for 3 years though! And yes the back camera cutout looks like a ****. Thank you previous poster for ruining that

$2.84 Free Shipping. By far the best value for the money. Very heavy duty and fits like a glove. I bought 3 different colors and could not be happier.
Too many people around here think they have to spend big money to get good cases. Not true.
Those cases aren't that good, I bought one for my old phones and the first drop made it shatter! It was only a drop of concrete when it fell out of my pocket.

Yes! Used it on my drive this morning. Perfect to hide the plate and not scratch anything (other than maybe the inside of the case).
I like this case so far. Seems like good protection and not too thick, decent buttons. The only thing I don't like is it's hard to slide the slider toggle.
Yeah I have to dig in with my nails and I'm afraid to scratch the paint of the phone.
