My girlfriend is still using her s2 still she loves her phone but now suddenly the phone stopped working.. it wont boot into recovery or download mode to flash new rom.. also I checked with 3-4 batteries.. any solution for this or the end of story?

It looks like your phone just died. Thats funny. Check if your Phone charges or not when you connect it to a charger. If its not charging. Then its probably a Hardware problem like water chocking etc. If its charging then we can proceed Further. Don't forget to put A working battery in your phone.

hey, my infuse said it had no signal so I turned it off. now I cant get the phone to turn back on, I tried to do a download to recovery and boot into recovery mode. it is not a boot loop or a soft brick. i was running beanstalk 1.168 since it was released. any ideas ppl?
Try doing the method to get into download mode, then unplug the phone from the computer and hit the volume down button to reboot the phone. My power button is broken so this is the method I use. See if it works... Make sure you unplug the phone before hitting volume down or it won't restart.

the battery has a dead cell, i found out. i got the phone on but now its back to being dead. the phone started with my friends battery, and then i put my battery in and it went into a boot loop. now i cant even do the battery trick to get it turned on im sad

New batteries aren't very expensive. If it is indeed the battery Amazon is selling 2 Anker batteries plus an external charger for around $20. It's worth a shot to save your phone. Either that or find someone with a spare who doesn't need it.
EDIT: Well the batteries I was talking about seem to be unavailable as of now but I found a similar package for $24.99. It's labeled for the Galaxy S2 and comparable devices which the Infuse is basically the S2's brother so they should work fine.

I have personal experience with Anker batteries and highly recommend them. Sorry if a battery isn't what you're looking for. That's just how I interpreted your post.
I switched off my phone for a day and then today when I tried putting it for charge (when the phone was still off) the battery charging sign came for just a second and then stopped. And since then my phone won't turn on.
I don't even know what to do since I don't know what went wrong. It didn't get wet, I didn't bang it anywhere...
The phone won't turn on so I can't get to download mode or recovery
I already tried letting it charge for about 1 hour but still nothing happens

2 reason first you battery is broken secind hard brick or sudden death

It could be screen problem definitely, same happened to me, so i had to take it to Samsung's center where they gave me new Galaxy 3/Apollo.
It happens because of overclocking or underclocking even by undervoltaging your device. So next time take care.

My battery is relatively new (bought a year ago) and I didn't flash my phone recently.
I am using a custom ROM though. I haven't overclocked my device or undervolted it.
Hmm it's possible that the screen isn't working. I'll switch on the phone and try calling on it to see if it shows as switched off or if it rings. Then I'll come to know if it's a screen fault

hey gyus today my nexus s just turned off on its own......
and it dont go to recovery or fastboot mode tried battery pull wait for 5 mint plug usb charger and insert battery but no luck.......
it is bootloader unlocked rooted......
when i hold power button i even dont vibrate........

SOLUTION
Oh after a long dark night a ray of light to all of those users who have nexus s which wont turn on and when they put thier charged battery in phone gets hot their phones could be on back again by using JTAG+RIFF BOX this one reflashe the bootloader.......
And a hope that your phone can turn on back again...........

My brother got this phablet but he dont use it for a week. Battery level Down normally.
Now he would like to use it but
When he plug in to the charger it seems to start but not.
he got the first animated battery picture but when the charge start the phone shutdown and restart...
No DOWNLOAD mode work!!!
No Recovery Mode Work !!!!!
U plug it on the samsung charger or on a PC, it give us same thing

my sis had her phone with her and it eventually died cause it wasnt charged so she put it on the charger. I went and checked on it and it wasnt turning on, it just kept vibrating every few seconds. I thought it was a battery problem so I took my fully charged battery (we have the same phones) and put it in hers but it still kept vibrating. The night before I had installed a new version of TWRP on hers. Could it be a bad recovery? Im not sure cause even the few times I can get it in download mode, it then turns off and starts doing it again. Everything was working fine,even after the TWRP update until like 20 hours later.
Symptoms:
Constant vibrating.
Samsung Logo at times.
Was able to start into recovery but it cut off again.
Was able to go into download mode but it cut off again.
Any help? Main thing I want to know is that, could there be a chance its cause TWRP is broken?
Sticky or stuck power button most likely.
