Holding down the power button for 7 seconds should reboot your phone.

This didn't work for me. I had to go into download mode by holding down power button + home + vol down and flashed TWRP via odin.

I'm on the AOD1 firmware and using stock recovery currently. Apparently flashify only allows 3 flashes per day so I'll wait until tomorrow then flash TWRP recovery.

SM-G925I, Brazil (VIVO) firmware
My device is SM-G925I,
Brazil (VIVO) firmware
This is what worked for me:
1- Flash S6EdgeTWRP.tar from Odin 3.10.6
2- Install SUpersu v2.37.zip from TWRP.
3- Update supersu from the Play Store
4- Flash the stock recovery.img file (after downloading from sammobile and extracting the recovery.img file) with the Flashify app.
5- Extract the recovery.img from the TWRP tar file and flash it from the Flashify app.
Now my device is deep sleeping.
The deep sleep issue seems to be when you flash TWRP from ODIN. You have to flash the TWRP recovery.img file from Flashify to get deep sleep working.
I have not flashed any deep sleep fix.
Hope this helps someone.

So... I have installed TWRP, but I am a bit confused how do you reboot it into recovery mode without the TWRP app. I have tried it all with power bottom, volume,etc, but not sucessful.

If TWRP is correctly installed, all you need to do is:
- turn off the phone
- hold volume up, home and power buttons until TWRP opens.

nop, it always goes to the samsung recovery mode. However if I do it thru the TWRP app it works perfectly

Sometimes you need to restart download mode because something gets screwy. Also make sure you are using the latest Odin.

Maybe it's your USB because OTG is working for me I use it all the time.

I can confirm OTG is working for me in recovery, this is my USB http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00HVZ90OO?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 which I use to backup too and flash from.

Hi friends,I have flashed the Custom recovery through odin.Everything was fine till morning today.I am still on latest stock rom,downloaded from sampro.pl.Today morning I flashed the multiwindow file by Omkar using CWM and my phone is not booting since then.It has stuck in CWM.I have tried everything.I wiped data factory reset,removed battery and tried to power on.but every time it goes straight to Cwm mode.Even when in off condition if pluged to power,it is automatically opening CWM mode.Odin is also not decteting the phone.So I can not even flash the stock rom.Please somebody help me.It's very urgent.

Tried that also.But no luck.I think there is problem with the CWM.Phone is not booting.Being stuck in CWM.

Are u using stock rom or monster$ rom
If yes than go to system/etc
And delete install-recovery.sh
If there is no such file then just leave it[tat install-recovery. Sh is already been deleted in monster$ rom if u find it then just delete it]
Don't use any app too flash zip
Like rebooter, rom manager
Go to recovery manually don't use any app to boot to recovery
Btw I never stuck on cwm

Flash stock rom again and try installing cwm n then rom.. it should work.

Remove Battery and power off the phone now PRESS VOLUME DOWN+HOME+POWER and it should boot to download mode if not then you need to follow omkar steps....

Thanks for the help friends.Problem resolved.Actually I had flashed Onkar's rom after reading the suggestion given above.But it did not work.Then I flashed the stock recovery through odin.But phone got stuck at samsung core logo and never go forward.At last I had to flash the latest stock firmware and it worked.
I am still confused,why the phone got stuck in Cwm.I had never experienced such things with my earlier phone.
i had the same problem today and i slove it by these steps
1- go to download mode manuly
2 - reflash cwm with odoin
it works for me but every time i use cwm to do any update i have to do these steps again
i'm not an expert but i think maybe there is something wrong in cwm

This will solve your problem.....xD
Just follow this method ...
1. Download and Put this attached file in external SD
2. Install this zip using CWM recovery..
3. Turn off your mobile through CWM advanced menu or by pulling out battery..
4. now enter into bootloader mode using ( vol down+menu+power )
5. Reinstall CWM recovery using Odin.. ( don't worry this you will be connected to Odin trust me....)
6. Install new Roms or ignore it if you dont want...
All the best.........xD
Please note that this problem comes most from force recovary restart by any apps......so enter into CWM through buttons is safe .

Try mounting system it helped for me. If it has not helped, flash stock revovery using odin and remember NEVER reboot to recovery on core using any app script. Flash cwm again after you roll back to stock recovery and use three button combo first hold vol up then home and then power button and hold it till the heptic feedback (vibration continues) and to enter download mode or we say bootloader mode for odin just hold vok down key insted vol up key.

I think you are using volume up+power+home buttons that will take you to recovery mode..
try using power down+power+home buttons.

hi guys
I'm stuck at download mode. Odin does not recognize the phone, but the computer does. drivers are properly installed.
I have i8262. I rooted the phone with framaroot. When I got stuck into recovery I installed CWM_De_Loaper.zip.
Now I'm stuck to download mode and Odin does not see the phone. No recovery no nothing.
I have to say that since the first time I got the phone everything goes wrong. I gave it to support and they flashed stock rom already one time. I couldn't do it because Odin does not recognize the device (while drivers are properly installed).
I don't know if I missed anything. I'm desperate. HELP.

Well, I have sorted it out. I'm not sure what the problem was though...
It worked on another computer. Drivers are properly installed to both of them. KIES is not installed on the computer that didn't work and I suspect USB problems as well.
I cannot be sure of the nature of the problem...

SOLVED.....
i've uploaded a original , updated and rooted (with Chainfire's SuperSU.apk and binary) system.img for pap5300 duo,so no more chineese superuser ,no more riscks off bricking and no more trouble...you can use this files and guide to unbrick or to root the PAP5300 DUO the easy way :victory:
This is how to:
--first,make shure you have installed the drivers
--download this and this
--extract the archive on your pc then put system.img in the system_recovery folder
--double click on install-system-windows.bat
--connect the phone to pc in fastboot mode(with the phone offline push and hold volume down button and power )
--wait for fastboot to finish sending and writing system.img on the phone
--the phone will reboot
--all done
there will be no screenshots because this is the updated system.img from prestigio...just rooted and added Busybox

With fastboot...i've flashed the recovery.img. and system.img

Furthermore should be added, that the phone should be brought into 'fastboot flashing' mode and only then reflashed. Bringing the phone into "fastboot flash' mode is done by pressing Vol - (Volume Down) and Power buttons simultaneously, wait for the system to install the drivers (Android Device or smth. similar) and then start flashing.

yes you are right...sorry for not adding those info but i was a bit in a hurry... for booting in fastboot mode i just press and hold volume down while i connect the phone to the pc with the original data cable that was provided with the device...i've tryed with other cables and it did not worked...and if someone need the system.img or recovery.img feel free to pm me

Please i forgotten to make a backup and then my pap 5300 duo isnt booting to end.
can you send me the system.img and the recovery ,i didnt find a stock rom etc.

just double click on install-system-windows.bat,connect the device in fastboot mode and wait 5-10 minutes...and youre done

it's unable to turn on wifi 'cause there's no mac address and secondary sim is not possible to use data... so the phone is working only offline except calls and sms
I was searching for stock rom but without success. CWM doesnt support tis device so its much more complicated. even when i tried to update fw to 1.0.25 (from 1.0.24) its verifying system and fail on this: "assert failed: apply_patch_check("EMMC:/dev/block/mmcblk0p16:........some numbers and letters") ...installation aborted"
...i don't know what to do,howto fix it... please could you help someway? Thanks

Hi,i do not have this device anymore but i will look for the files when i'll get back home tomorrow morning
So I was trying to perform a simple factory reset in recover mode on my OnePlus One and accidentally erased the OS. I know I could simply download a ROM onto my SD card and install though recovery only my volume buttons don't work so I'm unable to boot into recovery that way. And when I tried to boot into recovery from my PC I get a "device not found error" I'm assuming because USB debugging is not enabled. PLEASE HELP!!!! Is there any other way to boot into recovery and/or install a ROM?

Might be a redundant question but will this "pen drive" boot the phone into recovery or will I still have to figure out his to get it into recovery

In the instruct ructions it says to hold the volume up button along with the power button (which I can't do) is it okay to skip that step?

Ha ha ha ,i know. If there is no os , when you switch on phone it will enter recovery only , he said volume buttons not working , but if power button eork , when he switch on phone it will enter recovery i think . If so he will do as i told..

Pc identify only fastbootmode or adb on switch on position. If there is no os r, phone in recovery mode pc won't recognise . Are you in recovery or phone is not booting ?

A friend of mine has given me a S6 which they said did not work, after a bit of fiddling I found:
Download Mode, was working
Recovery mode can't be accessed
Normal boot doesn't seem to work at all (no boot logos including samsung one)
I have attempted to flash the correct ROM but to no success, also attempted to flash just the boot loader to see if that would help, all passes through odin without errors restarts the phone but still doesn't boot.
Am I missing anything, anything I could try? It's rather an annoying situation as the phone must be operational for download mode to work but seems bricked.

One being a md5 file of 3.7GB
I think you should use rom consisting 4 files ( ap, bl, cp, csc ) and PIT ( you can extract from csc file). Then the entire phone will be reset.

What model of device do you have? And can you enter recovery?
And this file is good, i am using firmwares from updato.com and are in that format.

Its a SM-G920F
Recovery not accessible, only thing that is, is download mode

What happens when you attempt to enter recovery?

And one more thing, when you flash stock rom with odin you must force restart your device, then factory reset in recovery otherwise it will not boot... but you cant access recovery

Literally nothing, it stays with a black screen, its weird as hell. Any other ideas?
On this as well, when trying to boot plugged in to the computer nothing on the USB controller. If I boot in to download mode it shows. I don't get why it's bricked in this way :/

Don't know man, if everything is ok with your hardware and if you are attempting to flash right firmware for your device model then i have no idea what is wrong... i am also new to samsung and maybe someone else can help... good luck

I am in exactly the same position as you, have you made any progress?
I flashed the latest stock rom and I get to the boot screen but no further. no access to recovery either so only have download mode.
The Firmware I flashed was in one file. Where can I source the latest firmware in separate files to see if that works?
So i tried flashing blu-spark twrp.. and magisk up until the moment i had to reboot after installing magisk... now the phone is stuck in this screen i dont know what do, help
What screen? Pictures would help others give feedback and information to assist you. I have yet to update to Android Pie because I am waiting for an official TWRP release myself and I like to gather as much information as I can before I make a leap into the next update

thanks, sorry dont have another phone to take a picture of this but its basically the screen we get when first booting that shows the device has an unlocked bootloader... the 'warning screen'

No connection to PC possible and no "reset-buttons" work.

Okay, I managed to get my phone booting up again.
1. Turn off phone by holding just the power-button
2. Boot phone into fastboot-mode by holding vol-up and power-button
3. In Fastboot-mode connect phone to pc
4. get stock OxygenOS-boot.img (Stock boot-recovery images) from here
5. flash the boot.img via fastboot: "fastboot flash boot stockboot.img"
After that my phone booted up again. TWRP is removed through that procedure. I will wait a while before testing it again.
Got the same as you. Booted back into Blu Spark TWRP, wiped Dalvik and cache and then selected the other boot partition. Booted up for me.

Did this wipe anything when you flashed the stockboot.img? Just data or internal too?
