First of all, let me tell you, I have tried all the available solutions posted on this forum, including:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1622683
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1610232
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1622683
But none of the solutions works, I have even tried using different ROMS (Stock ROM, CM7, and currently running ARHD for TMOUS 1.2)
I have already tried factory reset, clearing dalvik cache, battery stats using super wipe script.
Basically, My problem description is same as described in the above links,
"my phone would randomly turn off, sometimes it would be while in the middle of a phone call, and sometimes while playing a game. After it would turn off, sometimes it would automatically turn back on and sometimes I would have to hit the power button to turn it back on"
It crashes randomly, (but I am thinking it's not so random, I am thinking it crashes when I try to use any app that uses GPS like Google maps, facebook (checkin), camera(for geo-tagging a photo), etc. So I tried to reproduce this while logging using adb logcat and voila, it happens every time i use google maps for more than half a minute.
I have attached logcat output file, I tried to analyse it a little, but I am no expert in it,
So If someone can have a look at it, it would be really great. Let me know if you need any more details of the ROM/FW/KERNEL/anything else.
I disconnected the phone from PC as soon as it showed white screen with HTC logo, so that you will have a reference point to know when restart actually happened.

Heyyy you are not alone !!!
it seems like i have the exact problem
after i updated maps to the latest version
Whenever i use Maps the phone crashes after sometime and restarts !
I ve been using CM9 and I never had this problem before
If someone knows please help us !
Same here guys, updated Google Maps and when in Google Maps phone crashes! Any solutions anybody?
if it is crashing due to google maps then the problem is indeed because of latest update of google maps (6.10.0) just revert back to the previous version of it ...there is a thread for this check it
EDIT: thread here
Found this on T-Mobile website
http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-4703
It says,
Symptoms
When using maps or navigation, device crashes or restarts
What happens and why
The newest version of Google Maps currently causes a conflict with the HTC Sensation 4G, which can result in the device software crashing, freezing, or restarting while using Maps or Navigation.

So, the solutions is to rollback to Google maps 6.3.0
If you had installed an update from google play, then you can uninstall that update by Settings->APPS->Maps->uninstall updates.
But, if you are using custom ROM like me, (i'm using ARHD latest ROM), you have to download and install the APK,
And here's where you can get the APK to install this version of google maps
http://www.iapktop.com/google-maps-6-3-0.html
You can find out more information and latest update on this issue on google groups, this issue has been identified by google and currently working on a fix:

Hi,
Since I can't post to the massive Schizoid ROM thread, I will post here. I just upgraded to the latest ROM image, and for some reason, I can no longer access Google Play. It says there is no network connection. In fact, my wifi connection symbol is grey now (it used to be blue). Other network apps work, like the browser, but google play and voice no longer respond.
Has this happened to anyone else? I am reverting to a previous backup. Thanks.
Hello everyone, first post here at XDA. Finally got a new phone today, the Lenovo K900.
It's well known for it's cluttered and buggy UI, and I'd love to see those x86 cyanogenmod ROMs roll in soon.
Anyway, the main problem here is, downloads absolutely do not work on the phone. Nor do they work while downloading from a browser (tried multiple, including chrome and stock) and nor do they work from the Play Store. I looked around and found a few fixes, such as clearing the data and cache for the Play Store, Download Manager, Google Services Framework and then force closing them. None of these seem to work. I've not been able to download at all. I've tried factory resetting a couple times as well. The phone came with an older version of it's stock ROM, and downloads didn't work it either. I updated it OTA, issue persists. I did also try installing a newer version of Play Store, but then shifted attention to the download manager since browser downloads weren't working either.
I've only been trying these over 3G, and not wifi. I don't have access to wifi at the moment, but will try to use wifi in a couple hours and see if anything changes. In the meantime, any ideas?
EDIT: It worked fine on wifi, chrome gave me a proxy server error once. Seemed like proxy settings were automatically added for some reason. Removing them fixed the issue.
Every time I flash a 4.4.4 ROM I get net::ERR_EMPTY RESPONSE or net:: ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR whenever I visit a Google website.
This problem not only effects any browser I use, but also the Google apps.
Gmail, for example, will sync to my phone but images do not show and anything done on my phone will not show anywhere else(read emails still unread).
Essentially, updating to any ROM that is 4.4.4(CM, Liquidsmooth, CarbonROM) makes my phone hate connecting to Google.
Is there any solution for this?
I have images of the problem on imgur if it helps. Can't post image so just put these in the url

I've had this happen with the AOSP browser, but I've never had this issue with Chrome or any other apps for that matter.
is CM11M8 a 4.4.4 rom? m7 is 4.4.2 and i have no issues with it. i haven't upgraded to m8 yet since everything seems to be fine in m7 and now that nard's not working on cm anymore, i hesitate to upgrade it.
I faced the same issue after using mobile TOR (Orbot). When connected via Tor all was allright, but after switching it off the connection broke. Opening any URL from any app haven't succeed.
Hello everyone, i got my xperia C not too long ago and i updated it to the latest available software right after i got it (16.0.B.2.16 is my current build number)
The phone is working just fine except for one issue that is google chrome, 1st lemme put this clear while using WIFI this issue does not exist and it works just fine, anyway Chrome on mobile network connection however is a different story, it doesnt work properly, for example whenever i try to go to any website it loads for a long time and i end up getting a server not available message or unable to load or whatever, and i know for a fact that it has nothing to do with my mobile connection as other apps work just fine including Opera browser which opens whichever website i want right away, however some of the apps that are influenced by google chrome ( or at least i think so coz they r mostly affected by the same issue on mobile network ) like youtube or playstore and sometimes even facebook app ( not the messenger app that one works just fine ) and its been nagging me badly
I understand that simply by using opera my browsing issue is solved but again like i said i believe that some apps are influenced by chrome in one way or another or they r just simply affected by the same issue ( including skype which is extremely unstable like chrome on cell connection but works just fine on WIFI) so i cant just let that issue be as i need chrome to be working properly
Also note that whenever i open a hotspot for someone their chrome browser and all other apps work just fine so iam sure that my issue has nothing to do with mobile coverage or internet configuration settings, another thing, my brother has same xperia C unit and his browsing is just fine however he hasnt updated to the latest firmware ( i dont know whether that issue existed before the update or not as i updated the phone right after i got it before i could put anything to test)
so here are some things that i tried to fix this:
restarting phone, didn't work
factory reset, didn't work
updating chrome, didn't work, removing the update didn't work
uninstalling opera, didnt work
basically nothing works and i really need to get chrome working properly, thanks for reading and i hope anyone can help me fix it as its really bothering me.
Try disabling auto sync and/or removing your Google account from Chrome [don't log in during initial setup].
