I had a MIME screen protector for my S4 and was very happy with it and with their customer service. I ordered their S6 screen protector, and I want to return it but I can't even get them to respond to my messages. Has anyone else used them recently? Has the company just gone off the reservation?

I got a new screen protector for my S5 about 2 months ago through there warranty program and there wasn't any issues. Why do you plan or returning it btw? Is there some issue with it? I ask cause I considered purchasing one for my new S6.
I ordered it without reading about all of the issues others have had with glass screen protectors on the S6, and their website doesn't yet have photos of the glass on the S6. I was very disappointed by the glass not covering the whole front of the phone due to the phone's curved edges. I would rather wait for something that can cover the whole front of my phone.
Yeah the haloing effect due to the S6's curved edges were the reason I haven't bought a screen protector yet either. In terms of MIME not respond to you, I got a hold of them by messaging them through there "contact" page on there website if that helps. However it was for my old S5 a couple months ago.
Thanks. Yeah, I've used that Contact page twice, now, and haven't gotten any response.

I got a cheap brand on Amazon and was shocked at how small it was...I had Mime Ghost on my S5 and it was amazing so I sprung for the same kind on my S6.
No bueno.
It's almost as bad as the cheap one, except it cost $20 more.
I'm wondering if a PVC/vinyl/whatever might be better because it's more flexible.
I've also noticed that dust collects between the edge of the screen protector and the bumper case I've got.

FWIW, I finally tried contacting MIME through email rather than their contact page, and they responded and said that they would gladly allow me to return my glass.

I know there is a "Tempered Glass Screen Protector" thread, but since those seem to be ineffective ATM.... Also please leave tempered glass discussion and info in the other thread.
Has anyone tried a dry application or wet application screen protector on your Moto X? I like how wet fit protectors seem to mold perfectly to the phone, but they always feel rubbery which I hate. Dry applied protectors seem to suffer from the same issue the tempered glass protectors do, they don't hold down on the curved edges of the screen.
Has anyone tried anything they like?
I'm using dry protectors sold by Verizon. Sticks very will for me. But it is a fingerprint/smudge magnet!

Please preorder one, it will be quality unlike anything else available. Would hold my breathe on tempered glass due to the curved screen.

Doesn't look like this will happen since there are only 4 pre orders
Any similar to zagg yet?
Since zagg hasn't made one for the moto x 2nd gen, I desperately wanted one. I bought one for an Sammy s5 for 9.95 and modified by cutting the top and bottom off. While the top section and bottom are exposed, the main screen is covered. Width is perfect. Feels so much better than the dry application ones from vzw I had. Combined with my otter box defender with the built in screen protection removed, I'm a happy camper now. Protection with the right feel for me.
For wet skin protectors, give Best Skins Ever a try. I discovered and tried them against Xtremeguard and Skinomi (I refuse to try any other skin brand that goes over $20) back in the days when I had a Nexus 4, which also had a curved screen. I found the BSE skin to have the slickest feel on the screen, and they're cut to within 1mm of the absolute edge of the screen. The back also has 3 separate pieces, for the camera flash and dimple. They run $8.99 for a full skin set. I plan on buying one soon for my incoming Moto X, as a temporary solution until somebody makes a proper fitting tempered glass protector.
So I got my Note 4 two days ago and finally got around to having an InvisibleShield Glass screen protector installed since my local VZW store sold them. Keep in mind, my fiance has a Note 4 with the same screen protector, had it for about two months now.
After install, I was left with this...

It's not the typical issue of the glass hanging over the sides of the screen. Where the glass stops adhering is about 1-3mm from the edge of the screen itself before it starts rounding off. The VZW tech said it needs time to "cure" and heat should help, but I've installed these glass protectors before and this is the first one that's had this issue.
Has anyone here encountered this before, any way to fix this? I'd rather not have to make the trip back to the store, I hate that store and it's the closest one.
Have the same one, with the same issue... Best Buy installed it and gave me the same "curing" BS.
Unsatisfactory to say the least.

Take it back, you have a lifetime warranty with zagg of which best buy have an obligation to adhere to and swap it, especially if you paid for the fitting, having them fit it until its perfect is what I would normally recommend, but in this case, you will be wasting your time, I used to work for geek squad UK and fitting these was part and parcel of my job. Needless to say after you've fitted several hundred of these bad boys you get pretty good at it, what that store should have done is recognise the fault and pull the product, its simply not good enough, the only way you will get a glass screen protector for the note 4 is if its naturally curved or has some seriously strong adhesive, the slightest blemish in shape and it'll show.
The curing time they're referring to is the glue setting, Zagg says this takes around 2-3 days but I always recommend a week, this is more apparent with the original and HD versions of invisishield, in the case of the glass one, if it doesnt fit immediately you will always have this issue, as with the halo effect, you could fit it 100 times and it'll never work out.
My advice, take it back and grab a nice matt screen protector. Advise them that they should pull the product you've been misguided and inadvertently missold a product
Just like how on the Note 4 the halo issue is back on the Galaxy S6. I tried tempered glass from iCarez and iSmooth. Neither of them will adhere on the edges. Buyers Beware!
Id settle for them covering the entire screen... Even the pet screen pro don't cover the entire screen.
well you get what you pay for... maybe try a reputable brand? Zagg makes one. doesn't cost $3 though.
or buy a wet application film and be done with it.
From my past experience with the phone I think we won't see a glass screen protector that covers the screen fully, because the glass covering the display is recessed at the end, hence the screen protector can't stick. I doubt it is as bad as on the Note 4, is it?
Not what I wanted to hear.
I picked up a Pure Gear tempered glass from work and it covers the screen edge to edge and no halo issues.

Not sure if I'd agree that it covers "edge to edge" but it looks good nonetheless.

Well I highly disagree that it covers the screen from edge to edge, as it obviously doesn't (the lightning has nothing to do with what we see on the pictures), but i gotta agree it is one of the better fitting protectors.

"Edge to edge" usually means the whole front of the phone, not just the screen.

You aren't going to find edge-to-edge tempered glass coverage with the way the glass is on phones like the S6, Note 4, Nexus 6, iPhone 6, etc...
It's just not going to happen.
I'm gonna see what Phantom Glass has up their sleeves for the S6...
wait so there are no edge to edge covers yet for the s6?
I have the same problem with this iloome screen protector.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00US6IVN4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I think I might try this one next since it's much thinner (.10 vs .33) so maybe it will stick on the edges.
The Supershieldz brand I picked up from Amazon was the same way, and their customer service was absolutely awful when I asked to exchange for some PET protectors.
Is the Zagg glass for the S6 even out yet?
Anyone tried anything yet?

They're a cheap investment to protect your watch face, I'd recommend them. I just purchased a 3 pack from Amazon. A lot of complaints about the size but I understand that if it's a perfect fit and they don't position it perfectly that it could come off or break easier.
Or stop the rotating bezel working correctly.
I'll prob opt to go with the wet apply style protector, ie skinomi or something similar. The glass one linked on here looks to be a turd.
Hi guys, I ordered my glass screen from deals&bargain on Amazon UK & it finally arrived today. So far the fit and glass has been superb on my s3 frontier. It leaves a small .5mm space around the glass that isn't ideal as you want the whole screen protected however when i asked them why this is, they told me the reason for this is if the screen did crack it is easier to take it off whereas if the screen was edge to edge it will be very difficult to remove. They had this stated on their description what was a good thing as i read many other seller review and they didn't mention this . I have uploaded images of the glass screen and a link to the seller. Link to seller: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Frontier-Protector-VPUK-Ultra-thin-Resistant/dp/B01LZ6NS3E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1480374367&sr=8-1&keywords=B01LZ6NS3E & images here

Here are some pics of the protectors. They do not go all the way to the edge of the watch. There is a millimeter or so gap all the way around the edges. It is OK, but I do feel the gap when I am swiping on the screen. The protector could go to the edge of the screen. The rotating bezel would not interfere.
So... has anyone found a good quality screen protector (glass or film) that provides a perfect fit?
Thanks to share the feature of Samsung gear watch .
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NA8V53P/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is the one I bought and I will buy them again. Fits perfectly. Can't really feel it when swiping from edge. I can only see it from an angle and I have to kinda look for it. You can feel it with your fingernail on the edge if you pick at it. Doesn't interfere with the bezel at all. It comes with a little suction cup to put it on.
@FreddyFredFred thank you, that's the first one which fits good. But it can't be shipped to Europe. Does anybody sales it anywhere else? I had some protectors from ebay, but there is too big gap on edges.

I've got these
https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B01MYX5AIC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
glass, cut precisely alomost as big as the screen (if they were bigger I could not move them/take them out). Very good packaging.
So just moved from the S2 to the S3. I previously had a plastic type screen protector on the S2, but thinking of going naked with the S3. I cant find any scratch tests or real reviews on the new Guerrilla glass they are using, so I'm wondering what peoples opinions are. I mean Samsung does tout this as a rugged watch so I'm hoping it can take some sort of beating. I'd expect the bezel to get scratched before the glass.
I use a tempered glass protector on my frontier. Bought a three pack of eBay. Super easy to apply and a good fit.
Has not altered the visibility of the watch or the sensitivity of the touch face interaction.
You wouldn't now it was there unless you really went looking for it as it is just a tiny bit smaller that the face.

The display from the glass? Not a factory installed screen protector?
Yes, a big hardware fail..
Nothing should be peeling off assuming it is without any 3rd party screen protector
The screen is made of glass so the only thing that can peel off is a screen protector, provided either by Samsung or a 3rd party.

I PMed you. I've only seen this twice so far. Yours and mine. People initially looked at this and thought this guy is making stuff up that doesn't exist. It's also hard to see, but once you see it, it's unseeable. It took three guys at the repair shop to convince one of them that there is a manufacturing defect.

The whitestone has nothing to do with this.
Manufacturer defect. Since Samsung went to variable rate displays there been numerous display problems. Other manufacturers also had many issues with the variable rate technology, mostly color calibration, flickering, but also failures.
The N10+'s had very few display failures. This one in my hands will be 3 yo in September and is still looks and tests perfect. Personally I'm not pleased with Samsung's offerings since the N10+ for numerous reasons, the above are some of them!
Were you able to get a warranty replacement for this? Having the same issue
