Hey,
I've got a problem with my new Galaxy S6 (G920F). Rooted รก la Chainfire with Odin.
After this process the phone seem to work fine. But the x axis is inverted.
Means: If I want to go into appdrawer which is on the right buttom side I need to click at the left buttom.
Does anyone know how to solve this? :/
Second question:
I tried to change the DPI to 480 what worked fine (after the above mentioned problem). Now camera as well as my keyboard is way to small for the screen. I've already seen the problem with the camera and a black border but it didn't seem to have been fixed yet..
Thanks!
Go into settings, developer options and see if Force RTL Layout is ticked. This is the second time I'm hearing of this issue, I don't know how that setting would get ticked, but I do know it flip flops everything on the screen.
Thanks for your answer.
Tried your advice. The change is that the whole text is now right-adjusted. But it still does not solve the problem
Same Problem Here Help!
Hi I have just flashed the stock ROM back on to my S6 and my touch screen for the x axis is inverted too. When I swipe right the screen goes left. When I tap on the right side the screen opens an app on the left side. Please help.

Dude you are a god among men. I had the same issue and this worked. MANY MANY THANKS!!!!
Thank you SOOOO much for this. I've been having this issue with a S6 I was trying to give to my Dad since Father's Day. I'd been using ODIN left and right but nothing worked until this simple fix.
When I dial the *#2663#, I get routed to Verizon, and nothing pops up. Am I doing something wrong?

I was having the exact same problem, the code *#2663# was not working. So I tried some other secret codes from this website: http://www.askvg.com/hidden-secret-codes-for-samsung-galaxy-mobile-phones/
Then I tried *#2663# and it worked. Then I pressed the "TSP FW update (General)" button and it showed a popup "PASS". After that the annoying screen issue worked!
Hope this helps.
Thank you very much

Thank you.
I have worked 5 hours unbricking my phone. This was the last step i needed to take... now time for a beer. Good god i need it.
After I flashed kernel I got my touchscreen x axis inverted, as far as I understood this can be fixed with *#2663# menu, which is not running now (nothing happens when i dial it). Can I run them on custom rom or i should flash stock? Please help, need an answer ASAP.
*#2663# code not working on 6.0.1 any other solution ? for fix touch firmware ??

i Came with you guys very desperate and very frustrated, i was having an issue with My Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 Camera, and i was trying to do the self test service on the S3 with the *# code (i dont remember that code) but i put in another code on the S3 wich is *#2663# and that is to update the FW since i was on ICS 4.0.4 I Thought i could update the phone trough those options since i didnt recive the OTA, but i was mistaken, and i click on the "Touch Key FW update", but that just deactivate my soft keys, and shows a message on the screen saying "Now Updating... Warning! Do not turn off!" but nothing happens i had wait 10 hour since yesterday and nothing, and i would like to activate those keys again, but i dont know how i restore my phone to stock, i did a hard reset and nothing, i hope someone could help me, im 100% sure that its not hardware, because everything was working just fine I have not thrown or damage my phone i take care of it and im very very carefully with it, so i hope you guys can help me im so sad and desperate and frustrated
Thank you very much in advanced.
:crying:
If you can get into download mode, grab a stock file and flash through odin.
Well i find out, how, i just Flash the original stock rom that comes with the phone out of the box ICS 4.0.4 and i did a Factory Reset and that was it !! everything working 100% !!
Hi , I don't have an access to the hidden menu from the dialer on my galaxy S6 , so the command susch as *#06# and any other keys they don't work , so please I need a fix for that .
My Rom: XtreStoLite v1.1
thanks in advance
I don't have any hidden menus or service menus working either. Since I updated past the AODG firmware they stopped working. I'm on AOE4 now, still not working. Last one it worked with was AOCV for me. Not on a custom rom, on stock firmware.

I honestly don't think there is one. I even rooted the phone on the AODG fw and I couldn't launch the service menus at all even with root, kept getting this error (picture attached). I tried all sorts of ways, it just seems to be disabled.

can you tell me what Country of AODG firmware did you install because on mine it failed at the hidden.img so I had to odin the recovery to get phone booting . because to avoid the hidden.img fail you have to install an unbranded firmware so that's why I'm asking you this .
thanks in advance
I accidentaly flashed the edge version of twrp to my regular s6, 920r4. Now my touchscreen is reversed along the xaxis. When I dial *#2663#, nothing happens, only a dialtone goes on. Any suggestions?
Reflash regular S6 5.1.1 stock ROM via odin.
I did that, still no fix. Then I did a full reset, no fix.
Bring your S6 back to Samsung for repair.

Obviously my knox is tripped after flashing TWRP, would samsung be able to fix this anyway?
I hope so...
In other related threads, members were able to use the "secret codes" to update the TSP firmware. Could I perhaps install say the firmware for the 920F, then access the secret codes on that firmware, and in that process update the TSP firmware?
Flash this S6 regular S920R4 5.1.1 stock ROM instead of G920F:

Posting this for future reference for anyone that comes across this issue. The instructions below resolved my reversed issue.
@ScottBroker - If that happens again, you will not need to exchange your device. In the dialer, input *#2663# and select the "TSP FW update (General)". In order to do this, you would have to actually press "TSP FW update (Internal Storage)" since your horizontal touch is reversed.
This did not do anything for me. Could i just use the right one instead and all should go well? or there be another solution?

I finally got this issue fixed after almost half a year. I updated the firmware to a newer version, using the software update on the phone. My issue is finally fixed. I think that perhaps the several months new software update was different enough to require a complete changing of the recovery software.
Or at least something like that!
No longer will I be using my old s4, running liquidsmooth, that restarts 3-4 times a day. With a shattered screen at that!

A year after OP, I've ran into the same issue as the OP.
I accidentally flashed an edge kernal (I think, might've just been an incorrect baseband) on my flat S6 (920t). Tried things from flashing correct kernals to wiping to Odin restoring stock firmware. Nothing worked, then I found this and my problem was resolved in 2.4 seconds. I laughed at myself for this one :silly:
(Note: I had a TWRP backup, but didn't try restoring because it was from a previous firmware and I'm not sure it would've worked, which is why I searched for other solutions...and found this one!)
Hi I have got same problem. but afters tiping *#2663# nothing hapend. What can I do?

Which model do you have? The dialer menus might be specific to the model/carrier, I'm not certain about that though.
After rebooting my phone couple of times it works. Thanks!!!

No problem, glad it worked out and you can use your phone regularly now!
As I have found multiple threads for the same issue, I figured I would post the info in a few of them so if anyone else come looking for the issue and fix - they can get right to the howto instead of digging through multiple threads like I did. More info about the issue was found on the following link/s - https://1024kb.co.nz/galaxy-s6-reversed-touchscreen/ & https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62289392&postcount=9
You DO not have to flash any stock roms or other versions of twrp to fix this, as it will NOT fix the issue, as near as I can tell something corrupted or changed the setting somewhere on the hidden section of the phone's firmware. All you need to do is access a hidden engineers menu, click on a button and your done.
The hidden adjustment setting is accessible through keypad *#2336# (reverse-entered as #*2114*) (you have to do this as the touchscreen is still reversed so you are unable to enter *#2336# normally). Once the task completed I then was able to press the back key and have it function as normal which confirmed the fix.
hey guys, one week ago i updated my S6 to 5.1.1 and since then when you enter the settings and start scrolling, the first couple of scrollings the phone lags, it sorts of jumps, i didn't have this issue when i had 5.0.2....can someone help? i have an "old" 5.1.1, the one with the S6 icons and not the NOTE 5

Could be the reason of a borked update. I suggest to update to the latest 5.1.1 or perform a factory reset.

yeah, 5.0.2 was better, i am regretting updating my phone...but the ram is better on 5.1.1.....
Me too! There's a big scrolling problem with 5.1! It's like the phone doesn't know at what speed it should scroll.
i am noticing another bug, when someone is calling me, i drag the green circle to the right, it shows the in call screen but you cannot do anything and the call haven't been answered, then 2 seconds later it returns to the screen when someone calling you again....you have to do this 3 times to answer correctly....
YES! I tried *#2336#
I have NO SIM cards. When I dial that code, I get an error message and cannot update my TSP. And NO, I do not have access to any other person's SIM card.
For search sakes, I get this error:
USSD Code running
Connection problem or invalid MMI code
What I did. I stupidly did not check a kernel and I flashed a Edge Kernel instead of the normal one. I to be more precise, I installed the kernel here:
Stock_kernel_edge.zip
I tried installing many other kernels and it did not work. My left screen clicks on the right and right clicks on left...You get my point, the screen touch is reversed.
I have also tried this APP - Phone INFO *Sam*
And it still does not work.
Can someone please help me out?
I am updated to latest TWRP for my phone. I am really lost and I am getting crazy over this issue! I spent hours re-installing different roms and other alternatives and nothing worked up to now.
**EDIT**: The Phone INFO SAM worked. I had problems getting to the right section, but I got it to work with that app. So anyone having the same issues, Phone INFO *SAM* was my solution.
hey i have the exact same problem on the same phone do u still remember what you did to fix it? ive tried so many different things and i cant figure out what you did in phone info *sam* app
EDIT: I FIXED IT!!!! u have to do *#2663# then tap TSP FW update and it was fixed after that
