[Completed] GT-P7510 Help Needed - XDA Assist

Hi,
I downloaded nameless-4.4.4-20140710-p4wifi-NIGHTLY.zip, pa_gapps-modular-full-4.4.4-20141025-signed.zip, twrp2710-wifi.zip.
Booted into TWRP recovery and did factory reset, and installed nameless-4.4.4-20140710-p4wifi-NIGHTLY.zip.
I got an error while installing pa_gapps-modular-full-4.4.4-20141025-signed.zip with no sufficient memory and mentioned about installing micro version.
I decided to remove some of the data and ended up wiping internal data, which wiped all the above zip files too. . I know this is a BIG MISTAKE.
Now my tablet ended up with just TWRP recovery. My question now is , is there any way to download pa_gapps-modular-full-4.4.4-20141025-signed.zip to my twrp recovery?. Please let me know.
If my post landed up in some incorrect project, Please suggest to post in right forum.

Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. You can't download files using a recovery, it just isn't that advanced. You'll need to download to your PC, connect your phone in recovery mode, and copy the zip across.

No response in two days, thread closed, thanks.

[Completed] [Q] GT-P3100 tablet keeps restarting after a few minutes

Hi,
my GT-P3100 tablet keeps restarting after a few minutes.
So I tried to uninstall lastly installed app, but the device restarted every time I tried to do something with it - even a factory reset or opening the play store app. I also couldn't perform a factory reset form the recovery - it seemed like it was done ("Data wipe complete"), but it changed nothing. The next step I made was to flash a new firmware through Odin (3.09). The original firmware was 4.1.0, I flashed 4.2.2 - the whole process seemed to be OK, but an error occurred when the SYSTEM part was being flashed. I tried it 2 more times with the same result. Then I tried to root it with CF-Auto-root through Odin. The process was made successfully (as Odin wrote). The next step was to flash the CWM recovery (with hope that I will be able to perform a working factory reset). This was successful again, but the recovery didn't change.
AFTER ALL THIS STEPS I HAVE THE SAME LOOKING SYSTEM - with all apps, same restart problem,... It seems like it is protected against writing/deleting of anything.
I would be really thankful, if anybody gives me an advice what to do...
Thank you very much.[/QUOTE]
So I tried to my Samsung galaxy Tab 2 GT-P3100.
1. Tried to uninstall software, but it's restore again after every reboot.
2. Tried to delete some Images, video and sms but again it restart and restore.
3. Tried using safe mode but nothing changed.
4. Tried to wipe data/factory reset using system recovery. when I entered recovery menu some massage shown at bottom
Applied the CSC-code: TMZ... did not match sized '/system/csc/common/system/csc/default_workspace.xml' (No data available)
5. Flash ROM with odin 3.09 but it failed at 50%, but nothing changed.
6. Flash ROM using ADB bootloader, but nothing changed.
7. Flash rom from sd card, but nothing changed.
8. Tried to flash a CWM, TWRP recovery image, via fastboot, ADB, SD card, odin, but nothing changed.
9. Flash ROM with Heimdall (Heimdall is a cross-platform open-source tool suite used to flash firmware (aka ROMs) onto Samsung mobile devices).:crying:
10. When I went to the service center they suggest me replace motherboard. (cost Rs. 7500/-)
any suggestions are welcome

S3 i9305 ROM installation fail

Hey everyone
So yesterday I tried to install the new ( nameless rom) to my s3 i9305, everything was working perfect until I came to the "wipe to install a new rom" so I did that, when I tried to go into my folder "download" to install the rom there was nothing every thing was gone, every file. So now I'm stock with a s3 that can't boot and are stuck on the boot logo. The only thing it can do is going into recovery mode and download mode. Please help if u know how to solve this problem
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Unfortunately you've chosen the wrong wipe option in CWM, the option you chose wipes the storage as well (as you now know). You should be able to transfer a ROM zip to your phone if you connect it to your PC.

[Completed] [Q] Stuck with cwm recovery

I tried flashing my Xperia SL with cm 12. Unfortunately after installing cwm recovery, i forgot to back up the stock rom and factory reseted the whole device cleaning everything on the sd card. Now my phone is left without a rom and when i connect it to the pc, It is not being detected. When i switch on the phone it goes to cwm recovery and that's it. Every file i click on it says not found, and i tried mounting the usb as well. Same story. File cannot be found. What should i do now? I can't access anything on my phone. Is it possible to revert back to the stock rom i.e, Android 4.1.2? Please help.

[Completed] [Q] Galaxy Note Edge Developers wiped (no OS) - how to reinstall with EFS Pro backup

Hi
I got into a state with a wiped phone. No OS. It just reboots the first screen that has the unlock symbol ..never gets to the Samsung theme, etc.
I do have TWRP recovery installed. I WAS rooted .
The Nan backup I had done before in TWRP is not getting me back (not getting me an OS--perhaps I didnt select everything for the backup.)
I HAVE before backed up in EFS Pro just aboot, and then another backup with more critical partitons as suggested in an article, then a full backup except the userdata partition.
I have ADB available and up (installed SDk, etc). I can see the device in ADB.
Can i use the EFS pro .tar files to get back?
What would be the step-by step? I probably cant flash the .tar file and be done.
Do i extract the partition .bin and .mbn files?
What mode do I put the phone in (twrp home? Adb sideload? Fastboot?)
Thanks

[Completed] Can't flash any ROM on my Nexus 7 (2012) - bricked device

Hello,
First time writing on the forum so please tell me if I do something wrong
So problem is that I tried to flash the latest version of Paranoid Android on my Nexus 7 but I'm getting the error "Warning! No file-contexts" and the flashing gets stuck on the next phase which is "Patching system image unconditionally..."
My device is rooted and unlocked, and I use TWRP. Of course I wiped cache, dalvik, system and data before flashing the new ROM.
I thought that the problem was with the zip package, so I managed to download it again from my laptop and pushed the image with adb. Unfortunately, I'm still getting the same message.
I even tried to install another ROM (Chroma) but it didn't work either, still getting stuck at patching system image. At this moment I wiped the whole internal storage, which worked with my previous problem on my Nexus 5.
Issue's still there.
What should I do now? I can't boot because no OS is installed. Should I try flashing the stock Android version? Or will I get the same message? My tablet is bricked, only thing I can do is booting in recovery.
Thank you very much for your help!
Kind regards,
Sebastian
