You can try some of the following options
-Try to disable this app from App Info
-If you are rooted, go to recovery and wipe Dalvik cache/cache
-Install wakelock detecting apps like wakelock detector or gsam (all are for rooted devices) and post the screenshots here after 1 full charge cycle
-If you are rooted, you can try disabling it's services. I don't remember that app name to disable it.
-If nothing works out, factory reset

Battery stats seem to be way off. Cm10.1 stable build

Just this morning I unplug my phone and its at70 percent which I found odd. Then I check a little but later and its at 20. So I try to restart it. And then it's at 7. This has never happened before on this rom. Any advice as to what I can do?

[Q] Bad battery life after upgrading to 10.2.0 RC1

HI all,
After upgrading to 10.2.0 RC1 on my Nexus S, the battery life can only survive for several hours.
Then I checked detailed battery usage(Setting->Battery), the SMS app used almost 82% battery.
Now my workaround solution is shutting down the SMS app.
Does anyone meet the same problem ?
Many thanks.
You should try using Greenify - forcefully hibernates apps when the screen turns off, until you need them again.
Check whatever uses your battery using BetterBatteryStats and Wakelock Detector.

I have tried to downgrade the OS image to 10.1.2, but failed to boot up.
I knew the boot-up failure was caused by incompatible user data.
But these userdata is too much important to me, I will never wipe them out.
Just hope this bug can be fixed in the next release.

Make a backup of your data... You should be able to keep all your data and still flash at will... The only data I lose is browser history and passwords... ?? I flash sometimes a couple times a day..
You could also uninstall the misbehaving app and install an alternative version ( hangouts for kitkat, for example, can be used for mms )

"undefined-wakelock-timer" Wakelock keeping phone awake

Tried googling this but nothing came up. Using Better battery stats to detect wakelocks. And it shows "undefined-wakelock-timer" under partial wakelocks. And it says it's from Google Play Services. I've tried clearing google play services cache, rebooting, clearing cache and dalvik through recovery, rebooting, uninstalling some apps, rebooting, turing location off, rebooting, but nothing works. I'm also on kit kat.cm 11 nightlys Any help would be appreciated.
Bbs has a thread on xda. Use it.

It went away by itself. Probably because of a new, better cm nightly.

Restarting after i updated to 5.1.1

My phone's restarting randomly after i updated to 5.1.1.
Things i tried :
1) cleared cache through recovery as well as from fastboot
2) did a factory reset from recovery (4 times)
3) tried using without any sims or network.
What else is there to do now?
Note: i am unrooted, haven't unlocked my bootloader. I am on stock.

I suspect it could be an app doing it. Are you running any type of Antivirus? Try force closing apps and see if you can narrow it down. Any app that is memory intensive could do it.

Samsung Device Maintenance app extremely high battery usage!

I tried to uninstall updates, also clearing cache but nothing works
this app must be a battery life improver app! not a killer one!!
knox anti malware system is off in it
Try clearing cache partition in recovery. If that doesn't help factory reset.

do you have the same problem with your device maintenance app ?
Bro, it shows a battery usage of.. a system. The Device Maintenance app is a part of the system - so it does not show the battery usage only of the app - it shows all the usage of the system apps. That's why is so high .

No mines fine. Normally 3-5 percent usage in a full day.

You didn't understand me. It's a part of the system and the percentage shows overall battery usage of all the system apps.

Yes its not there, and now exynos is on V2 bootloader too which means its not possible anymore to flash back to V1 bootloader, btw its the android system drain that you are experiencing, for me its 4%. Maybe clear the cache to solve it, or a factory reset as a last resort.
