Hello! Where has the built-in Sip client gone. It was a very helpful feature in Samsung S5. Is there a possibility to get access to the configuration menu that has been in phone settings under Android 4.4? Thanks for your help!
Same issue with my s6 as well.
Any suggestion to bring it the native sip client back?
Thanks for your reply. Has anyone an S6 with the possibility to configure Sip accounts or has Samsung disabled this feature for all versions? Is a custom rom existing with this feature?
@markzh and @Nikoslive , did you find a solution?
Have the same issue, really liked the native android sip client, a shame if Samsung removed it!
Unfortunately there is no possibility to bring the native SIP Client back. Samsung support suggest to install a 3rd party app.

Hi all,
Would be great if some genius could program a call filter which is nicely integrated into the HTCs contact app. Maybe just an additional button or tab to each contact to activate call blocking.
Cheers

Hey Guys,
I'd really like to replace the built-in messaging application for my Samsung Fascinate. I've used handcent but as far as I know it isn't supported by the Direct Messaging feature. The Direct Messaging this is an absolute must for me. Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks!
Hey Folks!
First post here, and i'm only consumer. That first off.
I woul like to know, if in theory, it would be possible to create an App capable of this. It would be great to:
Enter Gmail account through desktop browser, access contacts, click on a phonenumber, click "Call with mobile" and my Android Mobile starts dialing the Number and activates the built-in Handsfree for me.
Would such a thing be possible? I think regarding the chrome to phone push service, also such a thing could be possible?
Would this be makable by anyone or does this need deep integrated coding work, so it would only be manageable by Google Labs?
It is possible to write a program like this, and I think anybody can do it, the programmer only need access to the contacts, but it's impossible to add a button to the contacts without the help of google
Hello
I have an LG G6 phone, unrooted, running Android 8.0. I use an app from my voip service provider, Fongo, for calls and texts. To make use of voice commands, dialling by clicking on links in webpages, etc., it would be useful if this app could replace the stock dialer.
LG seems to have disabled access to the Android SIP client, so I can't use that, and the technique of using shortcuts to these dialer settings doesn't work for me either.
Use of voip is increasingly common, and the fact that voip calls cannot be handled via the stock dialer, with all the integration that that implies, is quite a shortcoming.
If anyone knows a way around this is be pleased to hear. Thank you.
