Hi,
I know there is a lot of ppl explaining how to set as default silverInbox as default SMS or Email but nobody had solved how to access the silverInbox via Samsung Widget.
I tried many methods change regedit minitoday > silverInbox - 1, change tmail.lnk link to silverInbox.exe and so on. But I still opening WM sms via Samsung Widget, is there any other way to work around?
Please advise,
Eric
ps: Some advise to cook with customize rom but mine omnia still under warranty so temporary not planning to use it yet.

Hi, I didn't really know how to word this in the title so I'll explain here.
I'm currently creating themes (For the SEX1) and I need to know the links within WM to access certain applications and parts of the UI, for example:
To access messaging I link "\Windows\tmail.exe"
however, if I want to get directly to SMS messaging or a certain email inbox, how do I adapt the above link?
Other than messaging I currently want to get to the battery interface (shows the charge level and options etc).
Is there somewhere I can find a list of these or a way I can find it out myself from the UI?
Thanks.

Thank you.
Thank you kindly. I did have a brief look, but when you don't know the name of what you're searching for, it's hard to search
Hello xda community and thank you for your help in advance!
I have a Sprint HTC Touch Pro, running WM 6.1, stock rom. Couple of questions:
1. i've been hunting for an instant messenging client that would pop up a notification icon (like blackberry messenger does on the berry) when there's a new IM; reveal the time of the msg when you roll cursor over msg in the msging pane (again like bbm), and preferably, also include the msg in your inbox until you open it (again like bbm... see a pattern here? haha.) any thoughts, please? i've tried the stock program with wm, as well as palringo, and fring. none of them do these. and i keep missing IMs. sigh.
2. i uninstalled palringo because it didn't do what i needed. however, even though the files and icons seem to have gone, when i power up the phone i get a msg that palringo.exe cannot be found. and it sl-o-o-o-ows the startup. is that just because of a registry key? could you please guide me on the best way to fix? thanks!
I searched all through the new tael rom thread and was unable to find a solution to my problem.
I love the look of sense 2.5 but I am having two issues with text messaging.
One, If I am on the text messaging tab and create a new message It doesn't auto fill the recipient name and doesn't seem to grab any info from my contact list. If I select add receipient it takes me to a blank search people field with none of my contacts listed. The only way I can send a text message is to go phone>contacts>send msg or reply to one that is sent to me.
Two, when I am in landscape mode trying to reply to an sms the send button is off the screen. This I can live with as I know not everything has been ported over the VGA but the first complaint is really an issue.
Thanks in advance.

1. Texting is weird and a pain. This is due to the new, stupid, built in htc messaging app Jataayu made for HTC. Unfortunately it's a necessary evil with Manila 2.5. Either use the 'disable' cab found in this thread to disable it and use the built in WinMo pocket outlook to SMS (ink in post #1) or use Pyrorob's Contact Picker and Shared Resource CABs.

I have looked through the settings on my phone looking for a way to automatically delete my SMS messages daily, but cannot find a quick way in the settings. Is this possible within stock WM or any 3rd Party Apps that can take care of this for me?
Thanks In Advance
Phone: CDMA Touch Pro WM 6.1 <stock rom>
i know there are plenty of sms scheduling apps out there but i find it nice to ave enevrything in one place. i also know that go sms supports the 'sms scheduling'. the only way i have found to do this however is highlighting a previously sent message and selecting the 'convert to schedule message'. id like to be able to make my own message without sending it, and then schedule to send it at a specific time and was wondering if it was possible in go sms because i havent found it. thanks!
Try handcent
i am pretty sure that handcent does not support that feature yet
Has anyone worked out how to use this properly yet?
Ignore this post
The way I use it is to have it set to pro version. When you are on the messages page just swipe the screen to the side and it will change to "folders" and/or "plugins". In the "folders" page there is a scheduler in there.
