Does anyone have a quick way to disable the horrible volume warning? I am rooted..4.3 TW - ML1 .. I can't remember which rom I'm running. Its been good and I haven't had a reason to tweak it much. But the volume warning has to leave me alone!
Also how do I turn the wifi connector off too? Those are two popups that I just want gone. Searching resulted in loads of other phones or requirements I think is retarded. I shouldn't have to install other apps to fix this stuff.
Thanks!

The volume warning notification can be turned off with a Xposed module if my memory serves me right. When you say the WiFi connector are you talking about when it says unsecure connection?

Xposed sounds like a lot of work. Not to mention that mods my rom. I was hoping I could delete an APK or modify something. The wifi thing is a popup when it wants you to connect to wifi. Its annoying.
In a nutshell... I want the acoustic warning gone, track skip on double rocker bump if I can, and the wifi connection popup gone. I guess I may need to change ROMS. Didn't want to cause everything is perfect where its at otherwise. :/
I just bought the mentioned phone and I'm experiencing some weird problems on it. For example, I disabled most of the google apps by going to the App menu > Edit and disabled them by pressing the "minus" on the icon. Now if I want to re-enable them in Settings > Applications by going to the Disabled Apps section, pressing Enable and it gives me the option to DISABLE it again? WTF? Seems like I can't enable any app I disabled now..
The second thing is, it's more of a question really.. If I long press the home button, it only makes a short vibration and does nothing at all, is that normal or should something pop-up?
I mean really!? Ok, when you've pressed the enable toogle and the toggle becomes "disable" it means the app is already enabled and it gives you the option to disable it again.
Long press of the home button brings you to google now app, you must have disabled it.

I don't understand the bold text I quoted from you.. What do you mean? I clearly stated that I've disabled an app, and if I press to enable it, it offers me to disable it.. which is, already disabled?!?!?
Sorry for the misunderstanding but I don't get it how could I disable a already disabled app?!?

I mean when the button has the word "disable" on it. It means it's already running and app is ready for use.. Vice versa, if it has the word "enable" on the button.

???
I have DISABLED an app, therefore the app is DISABLED. If I want to enable it, the button there clearly says "Enable" but when I try to do that, I get a pop up as I was trying to disable it, which it already is.. Why don't you get it? xD

Ohh I get it now, if you've disabled it and the app is already updated, and you're trying to enable it again. Just click the pop up to disable it again, it just wants you to uninstall the updates and it reverts back to the apps factory version, and press the enable toggle again, the app will be enabled. You just have to reupdate the app again. In the touchwiz home you can directly disable an app but in the applications manager when you try to disable apps you have to uninstall the updates. Since disabling through the home launcher is just a shortcut.
Just touchwiz things.

It's normal, if you're not rooted. It's not really a bug, it's just a feature of touchwiz. My stock S5 and S4 has this, too.

Oh okay then.. I thought I got some faulty phone Any news on when is the ram management fix coming? Seems like my ram is staying at 80-90% at all times.. even when I'm not running any apps..
Also, do you recommend disabling the apps you don't use? For example I have disabled most of the google apps on there, since I'm not prone to use them..
Anyone know how to turn it off?
So far I'm root and have exposed sdk 23 with gravity box

Correct. Most of the things of Gravity box don't work with me too, even though it's made for Android 6. Most xposed tools just don't work.

THANK YOU!
The warning seems to be disabled on the September patch. I am not sure if this is intentional, but now the bar has a different color but does not prompt for a warning. I tested it with the screen on and off as well as unlocked. No warning.
I was using a bluetooth headset but that shouldn't make a difference as I received the warning with the same headset last week, before the September update for the S7 edge on Sprint. That also shouldn't matter but might.
EDIT I guess I jumped the gun on that one. I read in another thread that the warning only happens once per boot. Apparently I had already dismissed the warning on my last boot. I rebooted and got the warning again. bummer. Sorry for the wasted post on an older thread.

THANK YOU! It only took about 10 apps to get rid of that damn notification..."All my..." also actually works to not turn the screen on when charging unlike most of the other apps.
Thank you Samsung
Go to Setting -> Sound and Vibration -> Volume -> hit the 3 dot menu -> Media Volume Limiter -> turn on and set custom limit to Max
Confirmed I no longer get the warning pop up
Thanks for this *thumbs up*

If you don't have this option it's possible that you have an EU phone. No source but they have enforced stuff like this for a while, so it's not possible on a stock ROM. Even silly things such as desktop speakers powering off after 10 minutes of silence.
EDIT: Source. Blame the EU. Soft cap @ 85dB, hard cap @ 100dB

This is awesome, considering that there was no way to disable it on previous Samsung phones short of root. Sammy is getting softer in their old age.
The problem is, you get the warning after reboot, even if the toggle is off. How do we get rid of this permanently?
Darn. Don't have the 3 dots on my Canadian version. Oh well.

After you turn the volume all the way up, you have to turn the toggle back off or you will still get the warning. You will also have to do it again after you reboot.

I don't want to have to do it after reboot. I want it gone, period. If this is a EU thing, then why is it on my US phone? I found a guide on XDA that explains how to do it with Tasker and another application but I was hoping for something quick/easy like disabling a service or something.
Just tested. This works on the S8.

What an ugly workaround. I can't wait for root on a US phone to fix crap like this for good.

It's not that bad. Just download Tasker and Autotools and import the profiles at the bottom of the page. Then enable secure write settings in ADB. Took me 5 mins.
I've forgotten the PIN for the volume limiter. And the PIN I use to unlock my phone won't work. Can I change or reset this without doing a factory reset.

It is a permanent one from lsposed and just appeared after an update. Wasn't there before. Cannot be disabled for more than a few days.

i am on 1.8.6 (6721). how do i get the beta? and yes, disabling the notification doesnt really work for more than a few hours.
weird thing is...i did not have the issue before updating to the latest version.
First press Verknüpfung erstellen (Create shortcut) in Settings. That creates a new shortcut on your home screen, you can remove the old one after long pressing it.
When the new shortcut appears, you can disable the status notification. That option is currently greyed out.
i got it...it was greyed out because i didnt clicked the button to generate an app icon. i now did that (already had one but whatever). now i can disable it.
thank you very much guys!
Interesting, but why is it like that?

It's a way to make sure you can open it, cause if the notification is gone (and you didn't make a shortcut), you cannot open it any more.
