Screen defect? - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys, just got an international SM-G920I in sweet platinium gold.
I would like to check if anyone of you guys noticed the following imperfections as pictured.
I noticed some bubbles /a few dots /imperfections when looking at the reflection of the chrome like gold under light.
Update mine is mostly notable on the top left hand corner of the screen and would appreciate if you guys are able to check possibly and reply back to this thread.
P.s. I checked other demo sets and all of them has this to varying degrees, and it is not from the tempered glass that i have pasted on.
Pictures.

Are you certain that the screen protector you are using isn't the source of what you're seeing?

Sorry for going off topic , but what carrier are you using it on? Are you based out of the US?

Nope, I removed the screen protector and found these dimple / goose pimple like dots on the screen.
Also, if I were to shine light near to the capacitive buttons and home button I can see a string of numbers reflected off the gorilla glass surface.

I think it's the coating from the paint

I rotate the phone 180 degrees to let you see another side
How do you judge it? I think mine isn't that bad.

you need to put on something that is black background to see it. i can see it across the top and bottom , i can also see it very similair on my tv if i look at it the same way looking up into it. its there adn you can see it but its not that noticable unless your looking for it on mine. the pics the other poster showed were definaltey worse than mine. This does not make me regret the purchase at all.
i cant really see it at all when its the standard white bar across the top on froyo.
How about this one? Get "draw!" from market.
I have to put a dot at the center in order to take picture.
Added a pic of MT4 under similar situation (using draw!), but since the screen is less sensitive, I have to draw a small circle instead of the dot.

If you have to ask if it's bad....it's not bad.

Camera Lens

Do you guys know if the lens protrudes past the camera bezel exposing it to surfaces or is it slightly recessed? It's hard to tell from pictures.
Thanks!

It is slightly recessed.
Awesome! So that essentially means when you rest it on a flat surface, the glass won't scratch.
Good to know, thanks!
The unit I saw in AT&T looked like it was completely flush with the ring.

It looks like it is flush but it's not. I'm looking at mine right now and can tell that it is recessed. Not by much at all, but it definitely isn't flush with the ring.
It is recessed. Barely.

Yup, best mod yet. lol Sharpie took care of it pretty easily, two or three applications. Don't miss the white.
Wicked!!! And it didnt leave a purple tint ay all?
Also did you have to pin price the grill? Seems to have clogged up some of the holes.

I just used a thin slice of charcoal antistatic packaging foam. Makes it look level and keeps stuff out. I used nail clippers to trim it just so.
Not to knock the opinions here but I like the white. At a quick glance, I can always tell which side is up.

I agree too and with my option, I can always go back to that look
Attaching a picture of the earpiece after the alteration.

Any of you would like to post a quick tutorial about this.

A circle on my screen.

Okay, i know this might sound weird, but there is a circle on my s2 plus screen, it doesn't appear on screen shots.
It appears on white background and wallpapers, it's a grey-colored circle.
It's also not an icon, I'm sure it's something on the display itself, it doesn't appear on any screenshot :/
Should i return the mobile back or it's normal?

I am guessing a screen burn though I never met any on anyone's phone yet.

Yes, you should.
Yes, it's circles from screen protector. I don't know how to say it correctly... it's the screen burn on the light.

This is called backlight bleeding and normal if it's not too much
Flash updates,that's a little bug.

That's not a bug. It's completely normal for screens to have a little bit of background bleeding. Just check your computer monitor in the corners for example
I have that as well, its not a problem once you get accustomed to it. when I first got the phone from aliexpress, I opened a dispute regarding the order as I thought that the screen is faulty. But actually turned out to be a common problem so I just made my peace with it
Hi. I was searching this forum because i just got my mix 2s. Immediately noticed the light grayish discoloration at the lower part of display. I was planning to have it replaced by the store when i posted this issue at the miui forum. 4 replied to my post, all having the same concern. Then this. So i guess its pretty normal.
