Is there any third party unlocking services for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge?
EDIT: I was able to get it unlocked internationally for an upcoming trip by a Sprint Rep.

I was recently given a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge as a present and it had been bought at a discounted rate with a carrier lock, unknowingly, now the phone was bought with O2 carrier lock and i reside in India with no access to an O2 sim card or customer care and the website has been thoroughly unhelpful, is there any way to disable the carrier lock? a paid solution is acceptable

Hello, and welcome to XDA Assist! You need to get in touch with O2 somehow, so as to get an unlock code. I can't find a thread that will help you here on XDA. They are all for AT&T.

Hello everyone
I bought a Samsung s7 g930 from eBay.
It's locked on t_mobile USA.
I'm currently outside USA.
I tried to contact t_mobile but I couldn't because don't have a t_mobile account.
I think it's also blocked or blacklisted!
Does anyone know how can I unlock it?

The problem you are having is because the firmware on the unlocked phones doesn't allow for WiFi calling, Visual Voicemail and other carrier programmed services. To fix this, if you have a Samsung S8 or S8+, go to your closest BestBuy with a Samsung service center which is 95% of them and tell them you would like to flash your unlocked phone to the carrier you want. Then that firmware will unlock those services. When you are done and want to sell your unlocked phone, take it back and have it flashed back to stock firmware. These days, unlocked carrier specific phones don't have a ton of carrier bloatware anyway.

If it's already unlocked then it should work on T-Mobile without any extra config, however flashing the T-Mobile CSC will be needed for carrier specific services (VoLTE etc) and may also improve network performance.
If it's not unlocked, you'll have to call sprint to get them to unlock it, or use a third party carrier unlock website.
I just bought a Samsung S8+ off swappa which just got shipped.
The seller tells me the phone is AT&T locked and he hasn't told me if it was fully paid.
I want to use this phone on another carrier abroad and I was wondering if one of those 3rd party unlock services will unlock my phone even if it hasn't been paid in full (If that be the case).
