Hi!
I accidently deleted DownloadProvider.apk & DownloadProviderUI.apk (from /system/app).
Could anyone provide me?
I cannot download anything
Or.... Maybe flashing the "GApps" can I restore it again?
I have a Nexus 5 v5.1 LMY47I.
Thanks.

Why are you asking these apks if you cannot download them? If you have a PC download the factory images (if you are on stock) then adb push the apk to your device.
FYI GApps packages don't include these apks.
Yes, I know. But I will download it via PC
Aw, that's true. I will try it because I don't want to do a hard reset.
Thanks!
Where did you find them then?

So get it out of whichever ROM you flashed. Is that so hard?
just open the zip, get the vending.apk, and push it to /system/app.

Download a htc explorer rom and unzip it on your computer. Rummage through the extracted files and the apps with their .odex should be there somewhere

Appreciate if you can advise on where to find a stock ROM in zip format.
Thanks!
okay found it on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1603957
but when I try to install it, it says, "application not installed". My PICO is T-Mobile branded.
Any help would be appreciated.

Manually copy .apks to /system/app using root explorer and give proper permissions, and then reboot.
I tried playing around with modified Nfc.apk apps to try and get it to work on my Nexus S with the screen off, but nothing worked. Now I need to put the stock version of the app back, but stupid me accidentally deleted the backed-up apk. Can anyone please help me out?
I've pulled my nfc apk: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3eyvwf9uniia78v/Nfc Service_4.1.2-eng.travp624.20121027.191541.apk
hope it helps!
Thanks so much for the help, but it doesn't work. I copied the file to my system/app folder as "Nfc.apk", changed the read permissions then rebooted the phone, but it doesn't even show up in the system settings as an option. Maybe there is something different about our phones other than the JB version?
Ok I copied this directly from my system/app/ folder: http://db.tt/UOwpirFL
Previous file was a backup I had created with ES file explorer.
Hope it works this time!
Permissions were fixed as rw-r--r--
Sent from my Nexus S using xda app-developers app
Thanks again, but it still doesn't work. You had it right the first time. I did a checksum for both files and they are identical. Do you also have a Nfc.odex file? Maybe if I have that too it would work?
Is your 4.1.2 build number JZO54K?
I'll look for that .odex file and let you know...yes build number is JZO54K
- Sorry mate can't seem to find that .odex file on my phone! Hope someone else can help you with your issue.
Hello Were you able to solve the problem? I have the same situation. Restore files Nfc.apk and Nfc.odex from backup did not help.
(Sorry for the google translate)

Thanks
Copied the download provider ui in system/priv-app
Dirty flash whatever rom you're on.
Just pull it out of a ROM.
Hey, guys!
I managed to root my Asus Zenfone Go ZC500TG and as I was deleting some of the bloatware it'd come with it, I accidentally deleted the DownloadProvider.apk file located in /system/app.
If someone could upload it or tell me where can I find one, it would be great!

Hello and welcome to XDA-developers!
You can use google.com to download DownloadPrivider.apk to your API (Android version)
After you download it, just move it to system/app and reboot.
