[Completed] Accidentally deleted DownloadProvider.apk on Asus Zenfone Go - XDA Assist

Hey, guys!
I managed to root my Asus Zenfone Go ZC500TG and as I was deleting some of the bloatware it'd come with it, I accidentally deleted the DownloadProvider.apk file located in /system/app.
If someone could upload it or tell me where can I find one, it would be great!

Hello and welcome to XDA-developers!
You can use google.com to download DownloadPrivider.apk to your API (Android version)
After you download it, just move it to system/app and reboot.

Hi,
I am based in the Middle East and do not have market in my galaxy tab. I hard reset my device and installed astro file explorer to check if vending.apk is available. It does show vending.apk, but the file size is zero and more over in system/app ,all the applications have .apk & .ODEX file but vending has only .apk ,which is 0 bytes. How can i replace the vending.apk and also add vending.odex to system/app. I tried root explorer but couldnt successfully paste vending.apk file. Any help will be really appreciated.
I can help,
Just type *#272*IMEI*
A screen will show, select SGX, (just back up everything before doing this)
your device will reboot, and you will find the market icon.
Download all market apps you want.
Have Fun

My Phone will now not even start and hangs on the LG logo screen.

Any Chance you could give me further help resolving my problem? (Like I said I'm a complete noob)

unzip the file, the lghome.apk is inside.
I'm guessing you haven't done a backup. there's a few threads over in general and or development that should be able to help.

Hi
You have to be careful while uninstalling (through titanium or similar app). Any system APKs having associated odex file should not be uninstalled unless both apk and odex files are removed using root explorer (or any similar app).
I have attached LG Home apk (stock one, which is not deodexed). Copy it in your system/app folder and restart your device.
Note: The attached zip file includes odex file which you can ignore.
Let me know it it helps.

ah i see, so he basically wanted the associated odex file as well as the apk
Try this. Should work without *.odex file.
I needed the LGHome apk with the classes.dex file in the archive, but I found it here in the Forum. Thx for all the help and here's the file if anyone needs it too :

[Q] Stock 4.1.2 Nfc.apk needed

I tried playing around with modified Nfc.apk apps to try and get it to work on my Nexus S with the screen off, but nothing worked. Now I need to put the stock version of the app back, but stupid me accidentally deleted the backed-up apk. Can anyone please help me out?
I've pulled my nfc apk: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3eyvwf9uniia78v/Nfc Service_4.1.2-eng.travp624.20121027.191541.apk
hope it helps!
Thanks so much for the help, but it doesn't work. I copied the file to my system/app folder as "Nfc.apk", changed the read permissions then rebooted the phone, but it doesn't even show up in the system settings as an option. Maybe there is something different about our phones other than the JB version?
Ok I copied this directly from my system/app/ folder: http://db.tt/UOwpirFL
Previous file was a backup I had created with ES file explorer.
Hope it works this time!
Permissions were fixed as rw-r--r--

Thanks again, but it still doesn't work. You had it right the first time. I did a checksum for both files and they are identical. Do you also have a Nfc.odex file? Maybe if I have that too it would work?
Is your 4.1.2 build number JZO54K?
I'll look for that .odex file and let you know...yes build number is JZO54K
- Sorry mate can't seem to find that .odex file on my phone! Hope someone else can help you with your issue.
Hello Were you able to solve the problem? I have the same situation. Restore files Nfc.apk and Nfc.odex from backup did not help.
(Sorry for the google translate)

DownloadProvider.apk & DownloadProviderUI.apk

Hi!
I accidently deleted DownloadProvider.apk & DownloadProviderUI.apk (from /system/app).
Could anyone provide me?
I cannot download anything
Or.... Maybe flashing the "GApps" can I restore it again?
I have a Nexus 5 v5.1 LMY47I.
Thanks.

Why are you asking these apks if you cannot download them? If you have a PC download the factory images (if you are on stock) then adb push the apk to your device.
FYI GApps packages don't include these apks.
Yes, I know. But I will download it via PC
Aw, that's true. I will try it because I don't want to do a hard reset.
Thanks!
Where did you find them then?

By mistake deleted Download Manager for Google Play Store

Hallo,
I have a Gigaset QV 830 Tablet and rooted it a few month ago. With Tiatanium Backup (I think), I deleted accidently the Download Manager.
So now, Google Play Services do not work anymore. I think, it must be the DownloadProvider (or DownloadProviderUI(?)) akp file, which is missing, its not here anymore.. I don't know, where or how to get this file, so that I could install Download Manager again. Thank you in advance!
You'll have to find a stock based rom or someone else with your tablet that is rooted to extract the apk from. Once you have it, you will need a root enabled file manager to put the app back in the correct folder and set the permissions to 0644.
Hello,
thank you for your answerr. Hmm, I am only asking myself, where to find someony with Gigaset QV830 rooted Tablet, who could send me the apk file. I will take a look, ...
Do you still need that all
