[Q] Oneplus One - Flashed TWRP recovery but not working - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
Currently running 4.4.4. Downloaded the official release of Oxygen OS. Went to fastboot mode, unlocked the bootloader, flashed TWRP (for bacon). Everything was done without any errors. But when I try to access the recovery, it still shows the stock CM recovery instead of TWRP recovery.
Tried again with flashing Philz recovery but still same results.
Any ideas please?
Thanks,
Danish

[Q] Stuck with TWRP, searched for a fix, CWM installed but unable to boot into CWMR

Hello everyone.
I have been trying to get onto the CM11
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2518998
I am running carbon 4.3 now on my GS3 D2att
I have goo manager and TWRP on this thing. they work fine.
I am unable to flash the 4.4 rom with TWRP.
I have loaded the latest CWM recovery.
I am unable to boot into CWM recovery, it always defaults to TWRP while booting to recovery.
Can someone help me get this figured out please.
Is it possible to flash the CM11 beta from TWRP, Am I having another issue besides TWRP?
If not, how can I get rid of TWRP? I have searched and read about this. but installing a new recovery does not do it for me.
Thanks for any help

[Q&A] [RECOVERY][TF300T] TWRP 2.8.7.0 touch recovery [2015-06-23]

Q&A for [RECOVERY][TF300T] TWRP 2.8.7.0 touch recovery [2015-06-23]

Before posting, please use the forum search and read through the discussion thread for [RECOVERY][TF300T] TWRP 2.8.7.0 touch recovery [2015-06-23]. If you can't find an answer, post it here, being sure to give as much information as possible (firmware version, steps to reproduce, logcat if available) so that you can get help.
Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!
Does TWRP 2.8 (latest version 2.8.7.0) okay to start out with? Meaning, if we are at the latest version of stock (ASUS build JOP40D.US_epad-10.6.1.27-5-20130902; Android 4.2.1) and we are going to flash a custom rom for the first time, the latest versions of TWRP won't brick our devices?
It could be that I'm just confused because there were lots of older versions that reference individual Android builds (JB vs ICS). And people would say "if you have X version of Android, use Y version of TWRP or you're gonna brick it".
Can't enter twrp but everything ok
Today i flashed 2.8.7.0 img with twrp 2.8.5.0 and than reboot tablet. Than i tried enter the recovery but tablet booting normally.
In bootloader screen click RCK but say "unrecoverable bootloader error 0x00000000
Tried
Flash twrp with adb
Flash twrp with terminal
But not working. Tablet starting normally when i tried enter the recovery.
Tablet working normally. Please help me.
I am using katkiss 5.1.1
Edit: i solved problem with this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44244313&postcount=12
I got sent here, so I'll try again.
I'm a little confused now, because I can't understand what is happening to my tablet. Let me explain step by step what I did, maybe one of you can figure out what is wrong.
I was running CM11 M12 with TWRP 2.8.1.0 and wanted to try the new Android 5.1. I decided to go with the latest Omnirom and found out I needed at least TWRP 2.8.5.0.
So first step would be to update TWRP. When I got at the TWRP website I read that there was something new in TWRP 2.8.4.0, so I decided to first go from .1 to .4 and then go to the latest .7. An upgrade to .4 went fine through Fastboot. Then I thought I could try the new in GUI recovery flasher, but I didn't understand it properly so I chose to go safe and flash the .7 through Fastboot.
I guess that's where I went wrong. The tablet went to recovery just fine, but in TWRP it couldn't access anything anymore. "Unable to mount" on everything. Internal storage was 0. It didn't boot to the ROM anymore.
So after some tinkering, not really sure what I did anymore, I got my access to the FS again. I had the CM11 M12 ROM still in the MicroSD, so I ran the "install ROM procedure" for that one and it booted again.
Only now I don't seem to have a recovery anymore. I can get into Fastboot, but when I send the "fastboot -i 0x0b05 flash staging twrp.blob" the tablet hangs itself. Holding power revives it and it boots to CM11M12 again. I tried to flash different TWRP versions (.4 .5 .6 and .7) but no sigar.
Does anyone have an idea how to get my recovery back?
Edit0: I tried to install the TWRP manager from the store and get a recovery from there, but the app doesn't work. It hangs when I try to tap on the "Recovery version to install" option.
Edit1: I followed the link in the post above and solved it. Next thing I did was flashing the .6 TWRP recovery and it stuck. Time to wrestle with some new roms! Thanks!
Edit2: Back to square one. The TWRP can't see anything in my internal storage. Is my storage memory going dry? "Unable to mount ###" shows up for every partition.
Edit3: And now it can see in my internal memory again... Hardware failure?

Hello
Can someone help me please?
For the moment i have TWRP 2.8.0.1 and i want to update it to 2.8.7.0.
First of all, i tried to update it with twrp manager.
So i open twrp manger
The install recovery screen opens and i choose for "Install Recovery".
Then i'm redirected to jmz software and then i got next screen:
Forbidden - you don't have permission to access /tf300t/ on this server.
What i'm i doing wrong?

HTC One Verizon TWRP issue

hello all,
I need some help here; never seen this before and it's wierd.
I got a replacement HTC OneM8 (Verizon) yesterday, today I tried to setup with a copy of my Viper rom (5.01) but phone came with Android 4.4.4 so I did the following:
• used "sunshine" to unlock the bootloader and install SuperSU.
• install TWRP version 2.8.7.0
• backup stock rooted rom
• install lollipop vzw firmaware
all the steps completed successfully
Now my phone is all weird:
If I boot to bootloader it works fine but if I select "recovery" phone goes to TWRP Recovery v2.8.6.1 FROM here (recovery) any option that I choose to reboot the phone reboots to TWRP v2.8.7 even if I asked to reboot system.
I can never boot to the phone itself (system).
I want to completely remove TWRP 2.8.7 and keep TWRP v2.8.6.1
I already tried to flash the recovery over (was successful) but I'm still with this issue.

This should be moved to Q&A section not Development.
But I would run the latest RUU.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...zw-m8-master-ruu-firmware-collection-t2946473
then re-flash (I suggest fastboot) TWRP recovery 2.8.6.1

Flash the firmware.. Has stock recovery. If it boots to twrp after that, you're doing it wrong.

the first couples times I did, I choose the firmware "m8vzw_AllInOne_Firmware" and " 4.17.605.9 Modified Firmware ".... both did not work in my case but then I did again with full wipe firmware "4.17.605.9 Full Firmware" and did work.... I didn't have nothing on my phone anyway so, the full firmware which wiped worked..
Thanks

Nexus 5 in Bootloop after unlocking and installing TWRP 2.8.7.1

Hello,
I wanted to install a custom Rom on my Nexus 5 running Android 6.0 so I downloaded TWRP latest and unlocked the Bootloader and installed TWRP.
Now the OS doesn't bootup anymore and the TWRP starts but gets rebooted all the time.
Tried to install an older TWRP version 2.8.70 and sideloaded and installed Pure Nexus Rom but this doesn't fix the problem.
Wiping anything from TWRP gives error messages...
Anyonw can help please!?
OK I have the stock recovery now installed from Android 6.0 and the OS boots up with Pure Nexus... looks OK,...
Anyway what's the problem with TWRP now!?
I don't think so. TWRP 2.8.7.1 is working fine for months. Did you full wipe before flashing your custom rom? Did you flash something else?
U need to install twrp 2.8.4.0 first because twrp 2.8.7.1 can only re-write on twrp 2.8.4.0 or higher..its work fine for me at official google M

That happened to me way back when I first used TWRP. From the official TWRP thread:
"If you have just used fastboot oem unlock, you should let the device boot up normally first before trying to install TWRP."
I think if you don't boot fully once before trying to install TWRP, it loops like that.

OnePlus one does not go into recovery after updating it

Hello everyone, I'll tell you what happened
First I was in CM13.1, then I flashed to oxygen OS 3.1.4 custom
(When I flash the ROM, without warning me the recovery was updated to the version TWRP 3.0.3-2TugaPower, previously being in a version inferior to 2.8)
After logging in to the new recovery, I noticed that the recovery version was not on the TWRP page, so I decided to flash the most recent version of TWRP (twrp-3.1.1-0-bacon.img), flashe it through Android sdk (Fastboot), everything went well the pc recognized me the OPO in fastboot Mode and flashe the recovery without problems, the problem came when I try to enter the new recovery the OPO does not enter the recovery stays in the OnePlus Logo.
(Before updating the recovery I tried to restate the backup of my previous rom CM13.1 but when I was going to restart it it stays in the OnePlus logo, and when I go to recovery I fixed that in the section of "Mount" system is not checked , Active but still the same, and when I return to recovery is removed.)
I ask you if you can give me ideas to be able to have recovery again and revive my OPO plz.

I guess you didn't read the OP of Oxygen Os correctly,he clearly mentioned that this 'Tuga Power Recovery' is patched to work with Oxygen Os's firmware and one should not flash any other recovery. Now,what you can do is this,
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-ikULjZZlloNHpOdVBrTzQxZzQ/view?usp=drive_web
> Download This file, install it somewhere and run Revert-2-CM.exe. Make sure you have fastboot drivers installed or it wont work.Avoid using any Antivirus program while doing this as they might give false alarms. After this you'll be restored to TWRP then you can flash any rom you want. The reason due to which you weren't able to find 'TugaPower Recovery' on TWRP page is because this is an Unofficial Recovery.
Question
What does the program do with the OPO?
If you are familiar with fastboot commands, this method should work. Had my OnePlus in the same situation last night messing around with Efidroid. Phone was bootlooping. Efidroid boot menu as well as recovery mode were both inaccessible. I had tried several other things but none worked for me. *CAUTION: this method did ERASE my userdata.* I downloaded a fastboot-able stock full firmware zip, then manually reflashed device. My beloved OnePlus is no longer my daily driver but still my fave device to experiment with so I just used COS 13.1 file. After full reboot, I downloaded and flashed official TWRP. Device is fully functional again, but without OOS installed.

It'll change your firmware and alter your recovery to a functional TWRP.You'll lose Oxygen Os after doing this.Though you can use this anytime when not being able to flash TWRP.
What should i do
Thanks a lot thanks to the method you told me my OPO has recovery again really thanks, but I have a question, I still in the TugaPower recovery, should I flash the stock recovery or the newest version of TWRP?
Because I do not know if flashing again the TWRP will happen the same
