Hi guys,
I have a Now TV box, similar to Roku
I lost the remote when moving house so this device isn't connected to my wifi
I was hoping to use the Smart controller app to set this back up
However I can't find Roku on there and the Now TV doesn't work - i've tried going through quite a few
Any suggestions how I could resolve this please? (apart from getting a new remote)
Thanks.

hey all new here on this site , ive been looking around on the intra webs and no luck. this is what i got-. I have a sony location free wireless player(LF-b20 ) and i got it all hooked up and working on my pc and psp. i got it to brodcast my xbox360 to my psp/pc with no problem. now controling the xbox remotely , i bought a xbox 360 remote control (microsoft brand small/short one). the location free did not have the code for it from there site or already installed so i used the IR learning on the location free base to teach the the on screen remote(psp/pc) the xbox 360 buttons . now i got a lot of the buttons working like power and a+b but i get any of the buttons to work. not the software on my pc says that it received the IR signal and acted like it work but in fact it doesnt. Any ideals to why its not OR does anyone know the code for the xbox 360 remote. any help would be greatly appreciated
and i have tested the buttons that do work from my friends wifi useing my psp and was able to get the xbox to turn on at home i just cant use the curser.
I posted this same topic on the Nvidia GeForce forums but also wanted to see if anyone here has input. Any thoughts are welcome on the topic:
https://forums.geforce.com/default/...sion/wmc-compatibility-with-shield-streaming/
After doing some testing today I have narrowed down some problems I am having with Shield Streaming to using Windows Media Center with Xbox 360 extenders.
I have streaming setup and working just fine on my Windows 7 64 box with a GTX 760 - no issues. Once I connect an Xbox 360 as a WMC (Windows Media Center) extender everything still works fine. I can watch TV while streaming Bioshock Infinite - no issues at all.
The second I disconnect the Xbox 360 Extender (and the associated RDP session used by WMC is killed) something goes wrong. The streaming tab disappears from the GeForce Experience Preferences tab - my PC is now listed as offline from the Shield.
I have tried changing the language as well as restarting the streaming service from services.msc - nothing will get the Shield to connect once I have connected and disconnected a WMC Extender session from the PC. The only fix is rebooting - and things work fine again until I connect/disconnect with a WMC Extender.
Can anyone help with this? I am hoping there is some kind of work around or fix that can be made to resolve this issue. Since the PC for the Shield needs to be online all the time having it also act as a HTPC running WMC is a natural fit - so I really would like to avoid the expense of having to dedicate a separate PC to act as a HTPC and another for Shield streaming.
I see the exact same issue with Win 8.1 and MCE. SHIELD tab / GameStream only works when a 360 extender is connected, once no extender is connected the SHIELD tab is not present and GameStream fails.
Heya folks! Looking to buy the TV bundle instead of getting the 60€ controller separately.
Now from what I understand is that the controller uses Wifi instead of BT which leads to my next question: is switching output (TV/Tablet) possible on the fly or do you need to change device like with BT setups?
Don't answer unless you got both devices and do this (if possible), as any other way is meaningless to me. I already have a PS3 controller which I only use for my desktop/laptop so it defeats the purpose in case anyone is trying to recommend that.
edit: in nearly January I will pick up a Shield TV and try this out myself. So until then, keeping my fingers crossed!
It can only be paired with one device at a time so you do have to change it when switching devices. However it is quick and easy to do.
Is there like a quick switch function avail, or do you need to pair it each time (i.e like BT devices)?
Figuring I would keep the controller connected at home to the TV and once it's out of reach, it would switch over to the Tab.
Hi guys.
I have an mi box android tv and an Apple TV. I want to connect my PS4 controller to booth. They booth found the controller and connect but the controller only stays on white. Never turn blue. The model of the controller is cuh-zct1e.
I'm really frustrating in this on.
Thanks
Hi,
I am looking for a controller to use with my Android phone. I thought about getting a PS4 controller as I will be using it for emulators and therefore won't have problems with mapping keys and I know a PS4 controller will be good quality controller.
But from looking online I see people have lag input problems with the PS4 controller on Android, and they have found a work around by installing a Bluetooth program and selecting a option. To be honest I don't want to be messing around with programs and stuff and rather just have a controller that just connects and works. So is this input lag problem still happening with newer phones/Androids? If so what good Bluetooth controller would you recommend to use with a Android phone? I have tried a OTP cable and a normal USB gamepad but that wouldn't work sadly on my Xiaomi phone.
Thanks,
