How to fix a not working touchscreen (Tinji i9300)

Hi,
Could you please help me on how can we fix broken touchscreens? I'm using Tinji (Tianji i9300 s3 clone) mt6577 phone. My Einstien brain managed to cut the flex cable to touchscreen and its now not responding at all. I'm using Tinji i9300 mt6577 chinese phone.
Initially, the screen did not respond on the right and left wing where I was struggling to even unlock it.. Thought of opening the cell and reassembling it myself looking at various forums feedbacks mentioned here. I opened the cell apart but before I could realize that the flex connection touchscreen, I already had broken it and now the touchscreen does not respond at all. Dead as stone!!
Is there a way to fix it. Request your help plz. Thanks.
buy a new one. those digitizers are not that expensive and getting a new one is easier than soldering a flex cable. trust me, i tried it myself on a cannoo.

Phew!! atleast I have someone hearing me on these forums.. Thanks a ton for your reply..
Request you to please guide me from where do we get these digitizers? are they screen specific as in 4.7 inch or CPU specific as in mt6577 specific? Or will normal digitizer work? Thanks.
Help

[Completed] [Q] Samsung Galaxy Trend display issue

Dear XDA community...
I've been a passive participant in many of your threads and most of the time I have managed to solve my issues thanks to your replies. Finally i have decided to join you and hopefully also help in some of the cases.
My current issue is a Samsung Galaxy Trend which display and digitizer have been broken. I have easily managed to replace those, both of which were working fine on the first boot. The display once got frozen tho and since that time the only thing i can see is a white snowy (no-signal tv alike) screen with some colorful dots here and there. Replacing the Lcd once again brought no change, so i guess it may be either pcb/ic issue or a software bug. I will try uploading a pic of the display as soon as possible.
I hope someone might have encountered this kind of defect and could help me solve it.
Best regards,
Damian aka Infernaesty.
Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist the snowy thing is because either the way you have fixed is not right and there is some connection issue to board and display or you may accidentaly damaged glue of Display and board fix which some devices have best thing is to get it repaired by Samsung Official Outlet or in other Mobile Repair Shop has further anything may damage other parts of device
Good Luck !

[Completed] [Q] xperia z touch issues

I cracked my xperia z's back panel yesterday and the touch seems to act wierd, I touch it once n the phone is responding with multiple touches, any idea whats wrong with the phone? Cant it be a problem with the touch panel or its just because of the back cover? Ps: I removed the anti shatter film .
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. It could be as simple as a loose ribbon cable or something else. Check out ifixit for your device and maybe you can solve it or you might have to go to a cell phone repair shop. Also see this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z They may be able to help.

[Completed] Nexus 4 screen partially unresponsive - replacement parts?

Hi
I have a Nexus 4 that I dropped a few too many times.
Now part of the screen is unresponsive to touch (and once in a while a get a ghost touch).
I'm about 99.9% sure this is a hardware issue - so my question is:
what do I need to replace? The LCD screen seems to be working fine and also the glass is intact. you could only tell there is a problem by actually using the phone.
Is it the digitizer that is in charge of the touch?
Also if it is - can I replace it myself or should I go to an expert?
I know it is a matter of technical skill, but I heard that replacing the digitizer alone may be too difficult as opposed to other parts.
Thanks for your help
Hi there,

Help with hardware - smartphone conector adapter to generic lcd screen

Hi guys! I need some help with hardware.
I've serached in the forum topics about it, but didn't find. So, my last hope is to post here and wait some light.
I'm looking for a form of adapt the conector of the lcd screen of my broken Razr HD(xt925) into a conector that allows me to conect the phone to a generic lcd screen without the touch. I don't know if it's possible, but worths a shot.

HI there!
Looks like the razor xt925 does support HDMI out You will need an HDMI cable with a standard Type A connector at one end and the Type D connector at the other (note that although it is visually similar, this is not compatible with micro-USB). Turn off the TV and the phone, connect the cable and then switch on your TV. Use your TV remote to switch to the HDMI channel, and then make sure your phone is switched on, the screen is on and the device unlocked. You should be good to go!
Cheers!
