Has anyone been able to successfully use your MOGA controller (specifically the Power Pro) on Lollipop? After upgrading both my N5 and my Oneplus One to lollipop, my controller pairs, but won't control any games. In the settings for Dead Trigger 2, under game pad, it seems to think I have a keyboard attached and won't let me map any buttons. My ROM is SlimLP on both devices.
It's baconnn!

It happened to me, but I found that the controller in my case have more pair modes
I have an iPega PG-9028 bluetooth controller, after lollipop it only work in MODE 4 SPP/android assistant, any other mode are detected as a keyboard
Many games recognize it(dead trigger, GTA, bard tale, etc), everything working fine in SPP mode: 2 joysticks, 1 pad, 18 buttons even the touchpad

Hi all!
Recently bought a TF300 and dock in the Black Friday madness. Trying to hook up a wireless xbox 360 controller using my pc adapter plugged in to the dock. This was a special edition from Best Buy that came preloaded w/ 4.1.
The usage seems to be kind of random. On the home screen I can use the left joystick to navigate, but none of the other buttons seem to work. In Angry Birds Star Wars the back, A, and B buttons work and they are all used for going backwards/cancelling actions. In Shadowgun: Deadzone it recognizes the controller, but in the game it continuously turns me around and around. When I go to the mapping features, any time I try to map a button it automatically puts in Joystick Axis 6+
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hi,
I bought the bigben stg one tablet controller.
Sadly the controller has some mapping problems in HID Mode.
First the mapping is wrong not like on a xbox 360 controller.
Left is B
Up is A
Down X
Right doesn't work at all. Some input debugging tool says "keycode 98 button_c"
Is there any way to remap these buttons ? Dumpsys says the controller use the generic keylayout.
Second problem the l2 and r2 trigger also doesn't work.
The debug tool says the buttons trigger axis 14 axis_rz from -1 to 1
And there is a little bigger deadzone for example in limelight app. Local games like dead trigger doesnt have this deadzone problem.
Does someone have any idear how to fix this?
Thx & greetings
Hi,
not sure if im doing this on the correct forum though
Modern Combat 3, latest version, ive read this game doesn't support controllers, but for some reasons, it recognizes the left analog left/right and dpad left/right as "Previous and Next Weapon" when my BT ipega controller is connected, and if I use touchscreen mappers like gamekeyboard, it overrides and goes together, when strafe/move left/right you also change weapons. why? is there something I can do to stop that?
thank you
MC4 works flawless though...
Hi, I was playing around with my dualshock 4 controller and my HTC one m8. The controller works fine for emulators where you can map your buttons, but when I went to play Modern Combat 5, the buttons were not configured correctly and there is no way in the game to set up button mapping. Im wondering if there is a way to change the button mapping in the system so it works across all games because right now its pretty messed up, for example the physical start button is mapped to left trigger for whatever reason. The controller is connected with a usb otg adaptor and the phone is unrooted and running the latest release of android lolipop. Any help appreciated!
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Your best option is using the Sixaxis Controller app from the Play Store, it allows full remapping. I can't post external links but it's very easy to find.
No response in two days, thread closed.
@ android 6..1 latest
I am trying to play RTS games via gamestream on my laptop to my Nvidia tablet using the ipega controller.
Now it does work and im reasonably happy though i suppose it will get some getting used to.
I am using the Keyboard and Mouse mode. While controlling the game with the analog sticks and gamepadbuttons function as mouse buttons.
But i am wondering to try some other things.
Can I for example increase/decrease sensitivity of the analog sticks functioning as the mouse?
Or increase/decrease the acceleration of the pointer/analogstick..
Would be great if you can fiddle around with it.
Also one other thing I really want changed is the keyboard mode. Some default keys are mapped to the keyboard mode of the Ipega 9023.
Now ofcourse I want to use specific buttons for the game itself and switch between keyboard and mouse mode as I play my RTS.
But how would I do this? There is no documentation on this... which is annoying.
I also heard about Tincore. I installed it and it sees my controller, but not sure if this app can do what i want and how I would do this...
Also have the software from the ipega company called android gamepad center. I started it but im not sure what this software does.
EDIT:

From around 1:40 - 2:00 you see him starting the android gamepad center. If I do it like this like him, the gamepad center screen doesn't change, At my screen it just keeps saying connect blue tooth controller.
It would be interesting aswell to create virtual buttons on the screen so i could controll the game via touch screen.
Hope someone can help me on this. Thanks
Bump. Anyone have the ipega9023?
