Reboot issue with official Lollipop - AT&T LG G3

Whenever I tried rebooting the phone, 9 out of 10 times, the phone will stuck in black screen and I have to pull the battery to fix that. Is anyone else having this issue? Any fix?
Thanks.

Well im on lollipop and i dont have that issue so i would suggest a factory reset to see if that works

[Q] Screen not turning off when powering off

Hi,
I have a problem with my Nexus S. When I power off the Nexus S from the menu it shows the "Power Off- shutting down" in the middle of the screen then it buzzes as usually I believe the system is also shut down but the screen freezes and stays in that screen.
After this no buttons can be pressed and only way to get out this to remove the battery physically. I am using the latest Cyanogen (update-cm-9.0.0-RC0-crespo-signed.no.v7.p0.R) before I was using another Cyanogen 9 and there was the same issue.
So clean install after wiping did not solve the problem, do you have any suggestions?
Have you visited the CM thread to see if anybody else is experiencing these issues? Have you tried to duplicate the issue on other ROMs?

I've searched the issue but could not find any similar issues? I did not have the chance to try any other ROM as it is a little bit time consuming..
It takes me 10 minutes to set my phone up and reinstall my apps. Surely you've got ten minutes to spare .

Hey Ata,
I ve the same problem . Did you solve it ?
Hi this was definitely a battery problem, and when the battery is changed the problem is gone.

[Q] Stuck on background

I'm not sure how best to describe this which has made it difficult to search the forums for someone with a similar issue.
I was using CleanROM 5.1 on my rooted Verizon Samsung SIII for months. Just yesterday it decided to stop responding so I pulled the battery and turned it back on. The screen it showed me after booting was that of my background with the apps button in the middle and the clock and battery in the top right. My menu and back button were lite but I couldn't do anything.
I flashed the CleanROM 5.6 thinking something might have become corrupted but the same issue happens when I boot.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
** Update **
I'm doing a factory reset as well. Hopefully that will do the trick. It actually it booting up and doing something now
For starters just try wiping cache, and dalvik. Are you doing clean flashes every time?

Restart boot loop error

Verizon Galaxy S3
SCH-I535
I535VRBMF1
4.1.2
It's rooted. Previously have run some custom roms, but I've gone back to stock since then.
Problem: Phone randomly restarts. It seems like it's only ever does it when it's plugged in and charging. Still, it happens just once every few days, and I can't recognize the pattern. It loads "Android is upgrading, starting apps." It vibrates for a nanosecond, and freezes, then restarts, and loops from there.
I don't know what to do, and fresh starts, factory resets, wiped caches, etc...do nothing
Thanks for anything guys. It's becoming quite annoying to change my settings and to rely on titanium backup every night to make sure that apps and data are there if something happe

If you're completely stock, it leads me to think it may be hardware related.
I would try to odin a stock image again and see if that fixes the issue, just in case something bad happened during the flash, if that still doesn't fix the issue, send it into samsung and see if they'll replace your phone.

Failed to lock screen after 4.4.4 update

SOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After the 4.4.4 update, I failed to lock the screen by pressing the power button...........
I update from 4.4.3 to 4.4.4 when i see the official notification.
Now, the screen can only be locked when timeout (i set to 30 seconds).
It is not hardware failure of the power button, as when i hold it, it can show me the dialog for me to shutdown the phone.
Anyone else????
help
Amazing, I solved it after i wipe the cache :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
