how can I remove the slim-logo.zip ?

time format
How do I change time format to 24h ? I just cant find it in settings or anywere else.

how is the slimkat ROM with recording in places like concerts, clubs or festivals? Cyanogen Mod is incapable of doing so as the sound gets heavily distorted. 

Whats about NFC and Mifare support in this rom?

Wondering if anybody else is experiencing random artifacts or "static" on the screen using slimkat 7 and Franco kernel 34.
Disabling HW Overlays in developer options fixes the issue.
Now have fav ROM and kernel running again!!

power saving modes
this ROM doesn't have power saving modes like the stock one?
im having drain battery from androidSO too.

I've no idea what happened to my phone. All of a sudden I couldn't unlock my phone, my phone stays black screen I even try to double tap to wake, physical power button and volume button it still never wake my device.
The only way I did is to hard reboot. Any idea what happened?

What Gapps did you use? I didn't see any for LP.

Hi, I have the one plus one, and I unlocked the bootloader, flashed the TWRP recovery, and then installed supersu. Everything work as it should. I wanted to try this ROM. So I did the factory reset in TWRP, flashed this ROM, and GAPPS. Rebooted and everything works, but I downloaded a Root checker and it said I was not rooted. I tried to install SuperSU from the play store, but it failed. How do I get root access at this point? Thanks in advance!!!

Flash the newest SuperSU zip from http://download.chainfire.EU/supersu .

Screen off Gestures
I just cannot seem to get any of the screen off gestures working...I have already gone to display and my screen off gestures are turned on, yet nothing.

Anyone had any issues with the screen turning off when calling or on the phone. With the screen not turning back on

After instalation in TWRP,it says FAILED !

Does the double tap to wake option exist at all? Can't find it anywhere nor does it work straight out of the box. I'm on build 9. Can't really stand being without this feature after having it in every other rom.

This rom is the best rom out of all of the lollipop and kitkat roms I have tried.

SlimKat (Bacon) & AK Kernel question
Hi
Coming from LP, i've installed Slim-bacon-4.4.4.build.9.0-OFFICIAL-8300 with Slim-Addons-normal_gapps.4.4.4.build.9-20150107.zip and Full-XNPH44S-modem-flashable.
All's fine.
But i wanted to install AK Kernel.
so in Philz's revovery i did clear for new install/wipe cache and install in order SlimKat/gapps/superSU and AK.287.OPO.CM12.1 But with rebot i stay with SlimKat boot image
i ve triedf the same with AK.291.OPO.CM12.1 for the same result.
Anyone have an idea ??

Do a clean installation. Just because they're all cm12 doesn't mean that it'll play nice when you go from a cm12 build to the next.

Although, most of the times feedback is not required as these users are building from the source and aren't really contributing code and it is a preview build.

I'm really lost now - does anyone else have a problem with no cellular service on the Lollipop builds? I have tried three different ROMs, but none of them give me any service, sometimes I even get the "no SIM card inserted" icon in the taskbar.
Yesterday I wiped my phone completely through TWRP - wiped ROM, deleted data, and mounted the phone system to my computer - nothing was left except the folder TWRP.. Transferred the zip's, installed the CM12 build, and the same thing happened.
As soon as I install any CM11S ROMs, I get signal and LTE/3G/2G coverage as usual. I'm using "Telenor" (in Norway) as my service provider.
Is everyone else running a kernel, modem or anything else I have completely missed?

Hardware keys stay on...
This is a great build with very little issues. However, I have noticed that after locking the screen sometimes the hardware keys stay lit.

Any idea why ambient display doesn't wake my phone when I pick it up? Boeffla kernel alpha 2

@inffy Just play rand'omly some mp3's, some work, some do not... Cant even use my old ringtone anymore

@SleemLDJ Clean flash here and only few mp3's work, not all. Spotify works ok.

Same here, though I can't seem to find a fix.. Only workaround is using the on-screen buttons but I'd much prefer a fix!

hardware keys stay on in first lock
When Turn the screen off the hardware buttons keep ON.
Only turning the screen ON ena OFF again the hardware keys will turn off.
Issue in 20141122 build.

I'm using Firefox and the regular hardware buttons. I've affected the menu button to see last apps but Firefox still thinks I have the menu button activated, so he doesn't shows me the button for it's menu besides the tabs button.
Any ideas ?

nope, it cant be ported, other roms can use my commits to make it the same if they want... but port wont work

no, you will have to check the thread for news. now in the active development period there will be probably more release per week.. then when it settles it will be about weekly or biweekly

Seem to be having problems with the native email app. Once I get an account added it immediately force closes. Thoughts?

This may be wrong, but when i had this running, the sound pack it had included seemed different than that of lollipop? If so, is there a zip of it somewhere? Ended up going back to 4.4.4 at the moment. Need the battery life ATM.

it should be the same as cm12, maybe different defaults.... all files are in the rom zip

Thank you!! it worked. I installed yahoo weather app and used it a widget. Then refreshed the status bar wether, them rebooted it. It worked.

internal storage not showing up
So this is the only lollipop rom i really like so far since it removes carrier provisioning for tethering. And im a tether heavy user. But with the latest update after i flashed it and booted up the rom the internal storage showed up empty. So i thought i had accidently erased my internal storage. But i flashed a different lollipop rom and lo and behold all my internal storage popped back up. It never did get wiped idk what happened. I tried flashing this rom 3 more times with a complete wipe and i get same results no internal storage.

its yet unknown why this happens, solution is in the thread if u search for relink sdcard.
it would be cool if people provide more info on their setup... as it never happened to me yet and i flash like 15 times per week probably.

I guees 4th times a charm. I tried flashing it again and this time everything worked out just fine. Didn't do anything different didn't redownload the rom...... Weird. Love the rom tho!

just to give u some headsup, @nicholaschum was so kind to start making a very own custom boot anim for this rom! looking forward!

thanks for this bad-ass rom however i've just clean-flashed the 12/24 build and the signal icon now has an exclamation point which wasn't there on the 12/23 build. is there a setting i need to tweak?

Please include in the next issue of the function of answering a call by pressing the volume, if not difficult.

Successful upgrade
On an XT1034 (1st Gen Moto G from Wind Mobile in Canada) I just upgraded from MIUI Kitkat 4.4.4 successfully.
I had an issue with my bootloader being version 41.13 while flashing. Naturally the process was aborted during flashing. To fix this I downloaded a new motoboot.img from the second url in this link, and flashed it with fastboot:
Code:
fastboot flash motoboot motoboot.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot getvar version-bootloader
Everything works great so far. The UI is snappy and I haven't had any errors. Thanks!

If I only want to upgrade to the latest update could just flash and wipe wipe Dalvik cache and cache without having to make the full wipe ?

Is there a github link for this ROM? I'd like to follow the changes and updates.

no need to do a full wipe if upgrading, just make sure to reflash gapps

Hey Niropa, I'm having a few issues with 20150611-2107's build.
1) Pie Controls: When I go to add buttons for the pie control, I might click the add button at the top of the screen and the list of controls to add is empty. Alternatively, I try to click an already added button to change it, and the list that pops up is empty. If I remove a button by swiping it off screen, It doesn't add the action to the list. This is the case for both the first level and second level pie buttons.
2) Notification Drawer: (I was having this issue before 0611's build) I have the setting in the Carbon Fibres settings to display 7 icons in the notification drawer. In my actual notification drawer only 4 icons are listed. If I try to scroll side to side or up and down on the icons, nothing happens. I'm not sure about how the actual functionality for this feature is supposed to work.
3) Power Save Notification Drawer Icon: I have this icon displayed in my notification drawer, and in this latest build the icon always displays as enabled and does not toggle power save mode. It just doesn't work.
Also, when I create a screenrecord, where does it go? I looked around in my filesystem and couldn't find the files.

It was working fine and then once I restarted my phone after some days, it started optimizing apps and kept on restarting after that. Had to factory reset to make it work.
Also the dialer sometimes does nothing when I click on a contact name to call them and I have to restart the device.
Are these things fixed in the latest build ??

Any update on a new upload. Latest build gave me endless systemui fc. I know this was reported in the ROM thread, just wondering if issue has been resolved.

Download--BETA-V2 IS UP

I downloaded the beta V2 rom and I flashed it (twrp and clean install also) and it took me back to recovery. I flashed my cm12 and download it again just to see if it downloaded wrong but I flashed it again and it did the same thing. Any suggestions?. And thanks for all your hard work!

Did you update your frameware to 5.0 cause if you did not update to 5.0 the rom won't boot up

I m using v2 internationally with the latest KT SGS5 kernel.I have some issues- world clock FC,some of the camera mode not working -3d tourviewer stopped,on "selective focus" and "shot&more" buttons not responding, [note4 camera install] and no data .Other than that is great rom.Thanks for your hard work paco.

Amazing Rom if the sms would work. Anyone have a fix for the sms ? It worked after 2 reboots. Everything I need works awesome. Now we just need a nice kernel and this will be the best rom out.

Same... I noticed when I connected to wifi and turn off wifi soon after, CDMA starts to work but no LTE ...any on the spot fixes we can do to get data back?, tried rebooting and everything and still nothing...thanks

Paco help me out!! CLOCKS are showing different times!!!

Never mind fix it . So basically for me for some reason the clock does not synchronize with the automatic setting. So I did the clock and regions manually.
