Can't Wait But Alot Of Bugs

Really great work on the rom. Wifi, cellular data, hotspot, bluetooth and most features are working and ext sd reads normally. Few issues as mentioned above include video recording, no file manager(but I tried es file manger and it works perfectly) and radio. I have a suggestion for the devs. After all the bugs are fixed, if more settings are added to the rom such as pie control and floating window, I believe this rom will be the best. Amazing work fellas, I appreciate ur efforts.

The developers are getting nothing for this, so they are doing it in their spare time and purely for the fun of it.

Hi, i'm very interested in this rom. I'm actually on Miui v5 but...i prefer Android taste. I read that many things doean't work propely or partially, but i want to say: don't give up. Many user will appreciate your work just like me. Take your time to work on it. I hope you can fix as many problems as you can. I wish to help but unfortunately i cannot do very much, i'm still learning how to work on roms

I've made a full wipe and clan install with pagapps.

Apps that freeze like WhatsApp and total commander works normally for me.
I've made a backup of these apps with titanium backup in kitkat and restored in lollypop.

with cwm recovery wipe all system,data,media,cache,internal sd before install cm12

Hi i'm using CM12 (GT-I9105P) without any modification. Just like you've uploaded it. I found something wrong (the only thing for now). The phone cannot be charged after power off. When I put the cable into my phone appears the battery icon for a while, then it reboots. I don't know how to logcat that. I waantet to be sure that you'll know that. Everything else semms to work fine
P.s No gapp installed
No task killer installed
No custom kernels
No ART runtime
No modification at all

It's ART by default...you can't change it...Android 5.0 lollipo=ART(no more dalvik i think)

Do a clean installation. Just because they're all cm12 doesn't mean that it'll play nice when you go from a cm12 build to the next.

Although, most of the times feedback is not required as these users are building from the source and aren't really contributing code and it is a preview build.

I'm really lost now - does anyone else have a problem with no cellular service on the Lollipop builds? I have tried three different ROMs, but none of them give me any service, sometimes I even get the "no SIM card inserted" icon in the taskbar.
Yesterday I wiped my phone completely through TWRP - wiped ROM, deleted data, and mounted the phone system to my computer - nothing was left except the folder TWRP.. Transferred the zip's, installed the CM12 build, and the same thing happened.
As soon as I install any CM11S ROMs, I get signal and LTE/3G/2G coverage as usual. I'm using "Telenor" (in Norway) as my service provider.
Is everyone else running a kernel, modem or anything else I have completely missed?

Hardware keys stay on...
This is a great build with very little issues. However, I have noticed that after locking the screen sometimes the hardware keys stay lit.

Any idea why ambient display doesn't wake my phone when I pick it up? Boeffla kernel alpha 2

Same here, though I can't seem to find a fix.. Only workaround is using the on-screen buttons but I'd much prefer a fix!

When Turn the screen off the hardware buttons keep ON.
Only turning the screen ON ena OFF again the hardware keys will turn off.
Issue in 20141122 build.

I'm using Firefox and the regular hardware buttons. I've affected the menu button to see last apps but Firefox still thinks I have the menu button activated, so he doesn't shows me the button for it's menu besides the tabs button.
Any ideas ?

use philz, it worked for me since it can detect both gpe partition and normal (f2fs) partition

get the one under "falcon" folder, here's the Direct Link\
you're better off flashing the img file via the fastboot, rather than using the zip file via recovery, since your recovery can't detect the correct disk formatting.

i'm using the 14/2 build, with gapps "gapps-lp-20150211-signed" i didn't even realise there's a new build that you uploaded
it might be almost the same problem as that one guy posted in the first page of the main thread, but i'm not really sure. also, i've restored my apps from a previous backup via titanium backup. should i try a clean flash without restoring those backup? i think my other music related app is the one causing it, seeing that there's nobody else that got this problem. oh yeah, and also i can't make any phone call at all when it happened. it seems like the audio part of my moto g got screwed up
(edit) i forgot, thanks for the absolutely good rom! i'm really comfortable with this rom that it might be the only custom rom that i use as a daily driver on my moto g

Well, it should be working, and it should be fine to use Titanium Backup. Let's see if you have the same problem with the next build...

(edit) might be a problem with the media storage device, some folks at the cm12 stock player (eleven) is having those issues too
(edit2) it's the eleven (the stock music player) as per this link has led me to believe that somehow, on some configuration of rom, the eleven corrupts the media storage. if i just use poweramp to scan and play music, everything's A-OK. (the audiofx doesn't work with poweramp though :| )
(edit3) again, i'm dumb. i'll be using my poweramp since i've found out that i can use the audiofx, the menu is just hidden in the setting. might need to do further research on the eleven music player, removing it temporarily.
(edit4) i'll report back with a logcat as soon as i've had my hands on an able computer
aaandd.... as soon i installed catlog the problem resolved by itself... i'm trying to reproduce the problem right now, might have something to do with the usb otg and it's music content that the media storage mistakenly scan as items that needed to be added to the media library
(edit 5) it crashed again today (18/02) without me even doing anything. the logcat is in the attachment. it seems that it tries to find /storage/sdcard1 and fails because it is an empty folder, and i don't know why it's there, can i delete it?
oh yeah, after i won't be posting anything further about this problem since it's clearly the eleven's fault, not connected with the rom itself

yes you can go back
yes you can go back...unless u have the official ota update to lollipop in that case ur bootloder will be upgraded n u will not be able to go to kitkat easily....
since u are on kitkat..u can flash lolli rom n revert back to kk ...i did the same..

Dim flashlight
Awesome ROM! Hatts off to you. Its buttery smooth. But m having a problem with the flashlight Its very dim. Not as bright as it was before. But it is bright when clicking photos (i mean in camera) plz help me.

digging the rom so far, nice work! one question, somehow i cant find an option to change the quick settings toggles..

you're not stupid, simply there isn't this option in rom

Move apps to SD card does not work
I've tried a couple of ROMs and this seems to work great, but I have one issue.
I've tried [ROM] [5.1.1] Resurrection Remix® Lollipop v5.4.4 and it had option to move apps to SD card, but I didn't like if for some reasons.
This LiquidSmooth ROM doesn't have that option, as it seems, or I'm missing something?
Could you please let me know if there is a way to move apps to SD card?
I've tried some apps, but they didn't work as expected. Do you know any that is free and does the job?

Thanks, flashlight problem solved but i think the previous version from 09.06.2015 it's a little more fluid than latest build.
In the latest version 14.06.2015 it's a little lag on it. I use slim gapps from 12.06.2015. Anyway it's a very good ROM.

Also having the issue with sim puk code. Is it somehow fixable?
Edit. Atm the fix seems to be to remove sim pin at all.

Force close in SMS- and Settings-App
First of all, thanks for the effort that you puz into this Rom.
Its runnings nice and smooth on my Galaxy S2 Plus, but I keep having some 'force closes' of the SMS-App when tryinf to enter a chat. My Settings-App also closes itself when trying to open my 'Advanced Privacy Guard Settings'.
Please try to fix these issues

sms fc is an app problem (i don't know if app is made by liquid team or someone else) for this release just instal sms app by google ( delete the pre installed one with root uninstaller), all bugs will be fixed i'm doing my best to fix annoying bug also liquid and slim team are working on to fix the source so i ask only to be a little patience

Missed calls
Whenever i missed a call there is no icon in the top left to indicate that,Is that a ROM problem or is there an option that i have accidentaly turned off?

Something broke for me when updating from 4.1 r2 (Or r3? Don't know, the version from mid June, before the 16.06.2015 one) to r6.
Mobile status says "not connected". I'm registered with German O2 HDSPA network, I can make calls and SMS works as well, but I can't get an IP anymore. Network via wireless works just fine.
I've did clean flash (format everything except for boot) 2 times in a row, only image and Gaps Zero, flashed via TWR. Checksums verified.
APN settings manually verified, the broadcasted APN settings are correct.

Getting error when trying to flash COS 12.1 rooted with latest twrp
When i try to install COS 12.1 it gives an error: "Error executing updater binary in zip". I'm using MultiROM TWRP 2.8.7.

I am now on the ROM 12.1 by Sultan with the other kernel.
Do i have to do a complete wipe before flashing this ROM tru TWRP?
How about the WIFI DHCP problem is it gone in this ROM?

Boeffla kernel with his tuning apk

Downloading and installing the rooted version the update went smoothly but now Google Play wont update anything. Have someone else had this problem after updating the ROM? Is there a way to work around this problem?

Check out these pics and numbers. Last night deep deep sleep without issues. The others are my battery cycle. I'm running @ZaneZam U511 kernel and also using disable app to disable gplay services, that's it.

Hello, all. I flashed this file this morning, booted up, and sms was not working. I did not make a backup because I assumed a small update would cause no problems (Ik better now for the future). I tinkered with it for a little while then decided I'd try and reset my phone and backup my messages. Unfortunately, my sms backup app didnt work. Neither did titanium! So, I booted into recovery and made a backup of just my data. I reset my phone and booted back up. All my stuff was gone but sms worked. So, I decided to try and restore my data backup. Afterwards, I booted back up and all my stuff was there, but again, sms no longer worked. Can anyone help me with this, please!?!? I suppose I could start from scratch with my sms backup from two months ago but I really would hate to have to set up my phone all over again and lose 2 months of texts. Any help is massively appreciated!

@suaverc118 Could you please say what disabling app for gplay services you use?
I have already updated to 5.1.1 To instal the kernel I just have to flash the zip? (if so which version)

Yes just flash and that's it. I use Zanezams u511 kernel which is the latest beta for 12.1. And here is the pic of the app.

@suaverc118 Sorry for being annoying, but i cannot find the u511 kernel(the one i found is for CM12, not for CM12.1) . Could you please attach it or post the download link?

Sorry I meant u521. Here is the link to his thread. His kernel is a modified version of @lordboeffla kernel using different tool chains. Look in the OP for links to 12.1.

Look for the very top one in the pic I posted. When using disable services, anything that pops up blue you go and click it until it turns red. Go back out and back in and more will pop up, but it doesn't take long. In my pic, you will see all are now red. Before, some were blue.

@suaverc118 Everything settle , lets se how long does battery last (I have chose battery saving mode in the kernel apk and uncheck the red option)
