I have found an app that says that leaves no traces when unistallong an application the name is : uninstall perfect uninstaller
Should i trust it? Is it worth it to install something like this? Or is it the same work as delete data and cache and then unistall?

What else can it delete??? What else is there other than cache, data and app??
Maybe it just deletes these You can better contact the app developer asking what it does.
Only that'll help

I don't care what the app says - don't trust it. You don't need an extra app just to "completely" uninstall apps; you just need root access and a root-enabled file explorer. Using those two resources, you can uninstall your app, delete the app's data folder from /data/data, as well as clear the cache and dalvik cache. Everything you need.

its unnecessary, just root the phone, uninstall normally as It wont leave a trace unless few apps like titatnium backup, greenify leave odex files behind.
so U can use any root explorer apps and delete them in data/app folder.
hit thanks if helped

can someone tell us if removing bloat thru root explorer will delete the whole app? Iv read that it does and that it doesnt and the apps still show? clarification on this would be appreciated.. thanks much!
I delete my apps using rootexplorer. I go through system/app and delete from there. Also you can use titanium backup and freeze your apps you don't want to use.

Can someone give us a list what all bloatware you can remove without damaging the software itself?
I use an app called Root App Remover, one click and they are gone, I recommend it.
App remover works great

Basically, you can use any application that can root uninstall. There's a dozen of them on the market.
I have a galaxy fit which I just rooted and nothing more. No roms and stuff. Now i want to remove the stock applications and I tried it on titanium app. It does something, restarts and that app is still there. I don't want to freeze the app. I want to completely remove it so that I can have some more space in my internal memory.

You wont be able to remove stock applications on the stock rom....am running vishwanath's FitDroid rom and have successfully removed the following apps using Titanium backup....
-Samsung Home -- Removed
-Samsung Launcher -- Removed
-Samsung Apps -- Removed
Hope this helps
Thanks hope this works. I will try it this weekend. But I am scared on what if I mess up because I am new to this.

Once you have rooted your phone , install the program Root Explorer.
Select Read Write Permissions
Go to system -> Apps and mark the ones you want to get rid off.
There can be nothing simpler than this.
File attached for your reference
But will it completely deleted them giving be space in my phone memory??

Use the sd maid app from the market. This app freed up 40 MB from the internal storage without deleting any app.
You can also force app2sd to save space.
Delete system apps only when you're extremely desperate and the above methods fail..i think there is a rom for us which will restore all the factory apps, just in case you want to go back..

Stock application removing
YOU MUST BE ROOTED FOR REMOVING STOCK APPLICATION.
I THINK" RootAppDelete" ( AVAILABLE IN MARKET ) IS THE BEST.
BECAUSE WE CAN MOVE THE APPLICATION INTO RECYCLE AND WE CAN RECOVER IT FROM RECYCLE WHENEVER WE NEED IT BACK.
IF WE PERMANENTLY DELETE THE APPLICATION AND IN CASE WE NEED THE APPLICATION BACK WE HAVE TO FLASH THE ROM AGAIN.
You can even try "system app remover"....I don't think its available on the market but you can just google it...it removes and moves system as well as apps on sd card....hope I helped

You can use root explorer app to remove stock rom app and don't forget to wipe the cache from the recovery menu, just wipe cache not wipe data...

Go to your phone settings, and perform a factory reset that will do.

Use any Explorer( Solid Explorer recommended), go to /data search for that app(say facebook) related files and delete all files you find. Main file that is needed to be deleted is .odex file of that app.
for instance if whatsapp in not getting installed, then files like com.whatsapp.odex , com.whatsapp.apk and all other files related to whatsapp are needed to be deleted.
Install the app again then. It should get installed
If this doesnt solves the problem then you need to do factory reset.

I can confirm this after I've had this problem on both SGS2 and SGS4. The path is root/data/app, though, where you will find the .odex file of your and possibly other apps as the last entries.
I work in a phone store. one of my jobs is to uninstall all internet related apps. i do this by rooting, installing link2sd, and uninstalling the required apps one by one. needless to say, this takes a very long time. any way to do a batch uninstall?
(the built in multi selct dosent work.)

Use Root Explorer to multi select all the apps you want and remove them. Not sure why you need link2sd though.
Use titanium backup pro

Then something is odd about it. As long as you have root and given root access to the explorer then ukulele should be able to delete the apks from system/app. If you can't I would find out why.

i was using es file explorer, rooted phone, set permissions to read/write. i clicked the root explorer option, and from there clicked uninstall system apps. i then multi selected, pressed uninstall. a message comes up saying "busy", underneath that it shows one by one uninstalling "app name". after that, i get a box saying task completed. i go to app drawer, all apps are still there. so i go into es file explorer, navigate to system folder, than into app folder. all system apks are there, so i multi select and press delete. at that point i get a message, cannot delete, the files are not found" (or something similar) at this popint i am exasperated, so i go into link 2sd, try from there, it works from there at that point i open this thread to see what im doing wrong.
Could you please even reply if someone tries to help you?

Hello,
today I noticed a popup on my phone. I downloaded malwarebytes and found an app in /system/priv-app. malwarebytes can't delete it and I tried it with System app remover (ROOT). It worked, but malwarebytes still finds that app (com.excelliance.dualaid.yhlgos). Now I tried it with an file manager that has root permissions to the folder. It also tells me that it worked but the folder is still there.
Is there another way to delete system apps?

Deny it data access? Freeze/suspend?

I tried that too, but it looks like anything what I do doesn't affect the files in priv-app folder. I tried a small test with another app and same thing, like I can't do it even with root access. Or is it just my app? Which one would work?

I use Link2sd to integrate all system apps into the modded stock ROM. It works, but the data is wiped. Still, better than Titanium BU integration. Link2sd also has an uninstall feature, to. I imagine it may be as successful for you.
