For me, the ROM runs great, but No root, No recovery, and Download mode goes straight to Fastboot
AutoRec just gets stuck on the kitkat logo and never opens, Towelroot gets stuck as well.
Anyone have any ideas how i can root and install a working recovery?

Try stump root.. not sure but maybe

I understand that there is no root for this ROM but does this mean that once I install I lose root COMPLETELY? As IN I won't even be able to access my custom recovery and switch ROM's after STOCK LOLLIPOP installation?? Thanks in advance and thanks for the ROM. I've been waiting for this for a good while now. =)

battery life
My battery life with this rom is really good. gotta let it settle in for a couple cycles then you will notice this.

There us root for this rom. Im rooted, and so far have no problems. Rom is running great. Battery life is amazing.
Once you flash supersu after flashing the Rom you need to download the supersu app from the play store.
Then you need to update the binaries fir supersu to work. Since we cant get a custom recovery like twrp fir this rom, its better to update the binaries the normal way.

Download links?
I can't get the drive or mirror links to work. Anyone else having issues with downloading?

The instructions clearly say flash supersu. You need to download the latest supersu which is 2.46 and flash that after you flash the Rom.
Than reboot and do what i mentioned above.

It flashes the new modem, but you will looses your recovery. But now there is a way to bring back TWRP recovery by flashing the recovery.img file using flashify. A user has has posted a link on the main thread.

I kept my recovery by just flasing it right after the rom before exiting recovery..... I'm rooted with custum recovery. Just wandering if i wanted to get my download mode back couldn't i just flash the kk bootloader
Edit: Did not get a response so i took the plunge and tried it anyway..... [emoji41]

Someone please assist me in anyway possible. I would greatly appreciate it.. Ok so my problem is that I no longer have recovery or download mode! I am completely rooted but no recovery or download mode. Once again, any help would be greatly appreciated

Fastboot Mode
The Rom runs but I can't do anything else. I have no root, no recovery, and fastboot commands don't do anything. I've read through all the possible solutions, and even tried rooting it using the LG root script given a few pages back. Followed everything correctly but nothing works. The commands usually show this, and stays at the "waiting for device" screen.

I've tried using different cables/ports, uninstalling drivers and retrying fastboot plenty of times, nothing has worked..

Sadly, not the case with mine. I get an error message saying "Tried to install loki_tool, no luck, please try manually installing loki_tool, app will exit."
Heres to hoping an official OTA from T-Mobile within this ROM will fix everything.

For whatever it's worth, you can use the LGMobile Support Tool to download the 30b update as well. Just did that and it worked like a charm.

??
Any idea how to go back to my Cloudy G3 rom? I still have my backup on TWRP and my root and everything!
Will flashing work?

Use CloudyFa's ioroot or TowelRoot and then use AutoRec! It worked for me flawlessly! You might have to wait a bit at the start up screen for AutoRec. Hope it works man! I just got back to my Cloudy G3 rom!

Does this rom support volte?

[Q] Phone Freezes On Splash After ROM flashed

Hi,
As you'll no doubt be able to tell, I'm a noob with custom ROM's. .
I have an LG P999 on Wind Mobile in Canada.
I have:
Rooted the device with SuperOneClick
Installed Super User (The Clockworkmod Version)
Installed Clockwork ROM Manager
Followed Instructions to flash Cyanogenmod 7.
Rebooted.
The phone now hangs as soon as the loading screen appears. The screen with the LG logo and blu-ish shapes.
I have tried Removing the battery and replacing it, then restarting the phone holding PWR and - Volume key.
This appears to run the vanilla recovery with very limited options. No sign of Clockworkmod Manager.
LG Support Tool cannot communicate with the device once it starts trying to update ( or perform update recovery).
I have a copy of Miui G2x 1.8.19, but cannot do anything with it.
Can anyone help me identify where I zigged when I should have zagged?
Thanks in advance.
Follow the link and use this process to install clockwork recovery.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1056847
From there you can flash whatever ROM.
If your phone remains borked after this process look up g2x cleanup batch or ROM for recovery in the dev section.

My friend, you don't use fastboot to flash "ROMs".
Sorry woke up 5min before writing that. Running on 4hrs sleep now. Meant use fastboot to install stock image, flash a recovery. Then use custom recovery to flash future roms. Just pointing him in the right direction. With a little reading, he'll figure it out.

[Q] Backup won't restore.

So I installed the lateat CM12 nightly, wasn't really impressed yet and went to go restore my backup and once it's done restoring, it get stuck at the bootscreen animation. Just keeps going and going abs going. I used the latest cwm touch recovery as CM12 is not compatible with MultiROM. I would just flash the factory img back but my computer decided to it doesn't ever want to recognize adb avid fastboot on Linux.
Anyone know where I can find a flashable zip for the factory 5.0.1 ROM? Any help would be appreciated!
Try googling Nexus 5 factory image...

Now I'm assuming I'd have to unroot it and flash stock recovery and lock the bootloader to get it to update to 5.0.1?
No, it's flashable in your custom recovery. It's 5.0 though

Yeap , ota needs stock recovery. Also , switch to twrp since cwm isn't playing nice with L.

You're on a custom Rom. The ota isn't going to work. And you don't need to relock your bootloader. If you can afford to wipe your data download the 5.0.1 factory image. Extract it and use the flash-all.bat

Well, unfortunately, there isn't a 5.0.1 flashable rom available right now. If you can't get fastboot to work on your Linux machine you're kind of sol as you need to be 100% stock to get the ota to work. That means stock recovery in your case. Google recovery zip collection xda. There's a custom recovery flashable stock recovery there.

Did some more digging, got it install, and flashed the factory img for 5.0.1 and twrp recovery then superSU through twrp.
Mods please lock the thread thanks.
Get wugfreshes Toolbox. It has access to all factory images. Some people are not fans of "one click solutions" but this has never let me down.
There's a flushable zip on here also. Put it in a search in the app and you should come across it. It IS the full version.
Did you ever find out why the CWM restore led to getting stuck on boot animation??
Just ran into this last night. Tried restoring 2 different CWM backups and both got stuck on boot animation.
I eventually got a new ROM flashed. Going to try TWRP recovery I suppose.
I know I never had this problem with 4.4, this was the first time I have restored a LP ROM..

My guess would be; cwm hasn't been optimized for Lollipop. Cyanogen has just recently started working on 5.0 and they probably haven't touched the recovery too much. But that's just my guess.

[Q] [HELP] Any possible to downgrade to 44s from 05Q?

Hi Guys,
I know a lot about rooting & flashing roms and odin only except fastboot ( I am noob for fastboot )
I have been facing battery drain issues regarding 05Q update. I would like to revert to 44s but how? My phone is not yet rooted neither unlock bootloader. Please let me know about your suggestions.
There are tons of ways to do this however all will cause a data wipe. There is an official roll back zip floating around the one plus forums if you do a search I am sure you will find it and then just follow the instructions on the inside.

Alright, that means i can root opo and flash 44s through custom recovery? What about fastboot ?
You can also just download the signed 44s image from CMs website. Do a fastboot OEM unlock the flash the signed 44s via fastboot to your phone. No need for ant custom recovery or even root. But this whole your device but then again so will all other methods.

Possible incorrect twrp possible bad Noble kernel link?
Twrp is rebooting on its own the minute I attempt to flash anything didn't even flash .
Calls reboot phone.
Supersu is installed in used root checker and used play store supersu.
Even after flashing the suspersu in the root method link.
If I flash it bootloop into twrp only way into boot up is to Choose reboot inside twrp.
There's something really wrong and I'm not one to ask how to root but this time I need a fix . I don't believe Odin stock is necessary at this point I have a Bootable O.S.

I have a O.S
I have a Bootable operating system Twrp don't work nothing flashes it just reboots into a loop when trying to flash anything . I can only reboot into running operating system when I choose reboot system in twrp.
It has to be a wrong version or maybe because I have OKC Update .
Or I just need philz ,but can I flash philz in a zip format or is it only available as a TAR?
Many readers not to many have good insight.
At the very least just want the stock recovery .img and stock kernel so I can go to stock this phone is so problematic to ROOT !

No no no ... you can have working root and a flaked out TWRP recovery ive seen it a million times just like I told the other commenter whos just here to be a big **** talker !
My issue was with TWRP previousally when I tried and felt like being kind with my explanation that it was Bootlooping During "swipe to install" any zip.
As said before if someone could have simply just helped and said what to do where to find it and how in a 123 manner I could have resolved and closed the thread !
Either way for anyone reading this
DON'T USE NOBLE KERNEL OR TWRP
Them instructions links should be taken down .
Philz touch and arter kernel = Seamlessly rooted Note 5 with a recovery that flashes as it should.
