Currently it can run download mode and recovery mode. After the 2nd splash screen it goes to black. To go into these modes, I must remove the battery to shut it down then restart it.
I have tried many things to fix it:
Recovery > Restore Factory Default failed due to error
Odin > Install custom recovery > Restore failed due to error
Odin > flash firmware failed due to:

Hi,
Here is a dedicated help thread in your device section that you can ask for help in,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/help-thread-galaxy-s3-question-t2690307
I suggest you add more detail when you post there... Specifically, exactly what you tried to flash.
Good luck!
So my phone forced an update and it caused my phone to brick. I had rooted it but didnt really do anything else to it after that, tried to revert it with Superuser.
I have tried:
Return to factory default (failed due to error)
Flashed a few different recovery menus and tried to return to factory default(failed due to error)
tried flashing multiple firmwares through odin in admin mode, and got the following error with and without PIT:
<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..
<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..

I dont have an SD card nor have access to one around me, I can buy one if I cant find a way around this. I really need my phone so I hope people can help me salvage it Thanks
Keep in mind, I dont know too much about this stuff. I may have been using the wrong files (I looked for mine specifically, but I dont know my current firmware nor what firmware to use in specific cases)
Thanks again!

I'm having trouble with flashing the stock rom for the Samsung Galaxy S3 on Odin, as I get a fail everytime I try to flash the rom onto my device.
This comes up everytime I try to flash:

The model number is a GT-i9300, and no stock roms so far have succeeded.
I have used Odin 3.07 and Odin 3.09, my samsung drivers are up to date and Odin still fails to flash the rom.
On the S3 it's currently running TWRP version 3.0.2-1, it also asks me whether or not I keep it "System Read only" whenever I go in recovery mode. And each time I always choose the option of keeping it read only. I don't know if these has anything to do with Odin failing to flash the rom but might as well mention it. I was also running CyanogenMod13 for roughly a month before the brick happened.
Any help would be appreciated !
