[Help]Unable to search for apps in Market

I am not able to search for any apps in the market.
Usually ended up with 'no results'
When I attempted to install the app from website on my desktop, it's greyed out for TF101, but they are available for SGS 2.
The above error only appear recently, when I switch rom.
Can anyone help? Driving me nuts :/
Hi!
Had similar problem with my p-1010. I got it and logged in first time overseas in some god forgotten country. Nothing helped. Now my kid has it and there is absolutely no problem with it. But all the time I was able to search, download, purchase apps for my SGS?
I asked for help from google staff. Their answer was: (keep in mind, those shortcuts and paths are for SGT P-1010. Yours are probably different. But procedure is the same)
- Power cycle the device
- Turn Airplane mode on and off. This turns off and on Wi-Fi. To do so go:
Settings > Wireless & networks. Check Airplane mode. Wait a minute or two.
Uncheck Airplane mode.
- Delete and re-establish your Wi-Fi network. To get it back, you will
need the security type and SSID for your wireless network. To do so go:
Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi settings > Wi-Fi. Uncheck Connected
to "your network here".
Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi networks. Tap your network. Write
down the security type. Tap Forget.
Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi networks. Tap Add Wi-Fi network.
Enter the SSID and security type for your network. Tap Save.
Connect to your network.
If the issue persists, I recommend you perform a factory reset on your
device. Please note that this will reset your device to its original
state. While your media content (photos, music, etc.) will not be deleted
from the SD card, applications and their related data will be uninstalled.
Before the factory reset, make sure that your contacts are synced to your
Google account by logging into Gmail from a computer and verifying if your
contacts appear there. If your contacts are not synced, then I recommend
updating your sync settings at Settings > Accounts and Sync and choosing
either AutoSync or touching the account you would like to sync and
choosing "Sync Contacts."
Along with syncing contacts, please back up any important application data
and/or settings by navigating to Settings > Privacy and selecting "Back
up my data'"and "Automatic restore."
To perform a factory reset:
1) Go to Home > Menu > Settings > Privacy (or Phone storage; depends on
the device)
2) Press "Factory data reset"
3) Press "Reset phone" (or "Reset tablet")
After you perform the factory reset, make sure you sign into your device
with the same primary Google Account you were using before. If you have
any questions or concerns before performing the reset, or if doing so does
not resolve the issue, please let me know so I can continue to investigate
the issue.
Maybe this will help. If not, try Chomp.
thanks!
The steps did not help much, but chomp sure did. guess i have to stick to chomp for now.

That's because the apps that you are looking for are not available for your Transformer.

"Messages" battery drain, "transactionservice" always running

Hi everyone. A friend of mine has got a problem with his samsung phone running android 4.4.2. His device never goes in deep sleep. I found out it is due to "messages" stock app. If he deactivates it, here we go! deep sleep again.
There's one messages service always running and it's called "transactionservice", I believe it's the culprit, but there's no way to stop it, it always restarts itself.
I sent him an MMS, he received it but he can't download it, it gets stuck at download process (with data enabled, we haven't tried wifi still but I expect he will report results shortly)
reboot doesn't work
deactivate and reactivate "messages" doesn't work
changing default sms app doesn't work
clearing data and cache of "messages" doesn't work
unchecking "receive push messages" and "auto retrieve mms" on messages settings doesn't work
he doesn't want to do a full factory reset, let alone flash the whole firmware with odin
His carrier is TIM (Italy), his MMS apn is configurated correctly. What else can we try?

Play services syncing

About a month ago I turned off the "sharing device info" option in Google settings. Now after I turn it back on it doesn't actually "turn back on" and the issue has plagued all devices with my account now. Although it's turned back on it doesn't save a list of my installed apps or system state and after a few reboots the option is turned back off. I've tried doing a clean flash and setting up as a new device or even restoring from a previous one but no dice. Upon calling Google support to see if they could just reset the option they advised me to "contact my device manufacturer to help in configuring" so they were a lot of help. /s
Has anyone else had to deal with this issue?
I'm running lollipop fwiw.

Snapdragon Battery Guru Admin access settings

Hello,
I am new to this form so please excuse me if i leave out some details but i own a oneplus one black 64gb running the latest ota cm11 update and one day I decided to explore a new app called "snapdragon battery guru." (it was new to me atleast) The app worked great for a week or 2 but then i noticed that my service was being messed up by the app(this isnt the issue) so i looked up some reviews and i saw many other people with the same problem so I decided to uninstall the app... (This is where the problem starts)
After uninstalling the app my phone constantly has messages on common things that i use most importantly the "disable lock screen" when on the home profiles so that i dont have to type in my password at home all the time. However, after uninstaling the app, that option in the profile settings is grayed out and says that it is "disabled by administrator, encryption policy, or credential storage"... again i looked it up on google and found that clearing my credential storage seems to be a temporary fix that last about 2 hours and then the option ends up graying out again. (which can get really really annoying because my vpns are constantly cleared out every time)
Can anyone please help me with this problem!
Thanks
Jiggy
Have you tried a factory reset? That's your best option.

Settings, security, device administrator, what do you have enabled there

Galaxy S7 Backup

Settings -> Backup and reset
Backup my data -> Backup now.
There are 5 checks:
1. Auto backup - on
2. Clock - on
3. Messages - on
4. Phone - on
5. Settings - on
When I press the button to backup these, all are getting saved, except Settings.
It goes up to 75% and it says Backup failed.
Anyone else getting the same results ?
Same for me at 84%
Does anyone have a solution for this ?
deleted by author, multiple post.
Happened to me today, first time I used my Samsung account to backup. Everything work but settings stopped at 80% and then got a message "backup failed"
Are you guys all using the stock launcher? I didn't try it before but I am running Nova for the past couple of days. I will switch back to stock and try again and update here.
I get a home screen notification that says a network error occurred. But that sounds bogus and unlikely.
Update: nope didn't make any difference using the stock launcher.
Same. 83% then backup failed.
Tried doing a backup using Smart Switch on my PC. It started the backup then a message popped up on the phone saying "Unfortunately the backup restore has stopped". Pressed OK and Smart Switch continued the backup, and completed at 100%. Only issues were S Planner, Videos and Applications were excluded "because there is no data on the device." Also, Memo failed to backup due to an "error", and the note says "Unable to proceed with data backup."
So, a bit of a mixed bag of succeeded, excluded, and failed. The one that seems most significant looks like Applications didn't get backed up.
Somebody who matters should complain to Samsung
Backup works on my Tab S2 T813. Phone settings might be the problem. This works because it has no phone.
I was getting the same Settings backup failure, but thought perhaps it was related to having some apps disabled with EZ Disabler. Enabled everything and the backup completed successfully. Disabled unwanted apps again and the backup failed. So, for now looks like it's related to disabling apps. Anyone else?
(Note: I still got errors when trying to use the Smart Switch backup on my PC even with apps enabled, so no joy there.)
I don't have a disabler but I did disable some crap in settings. I wonder what it could be.
my disabled progs are
com.facebook.appmanager
Facebook
Google App
Hangouts
Instagram
S. Health
S. Voice App
WhatsApp
I will try enabling the S. crap and see if it works.
That's it! When I enabled S. Health and S. Voice App it worked. Sounds pretty bogus to me but there we have it.
Thanks for your comments. Can you check if you have the same issue and if it works for you?
I turned all the permissions and notifications for these two off so they can't do anything but the backup still works ok.
Fixed! Thank you @samnada
One more update. Smart Switch was failing to backup my contacts and applications. Talked to Samsung Support, eventually got resolution for both.
For contacts run the Contacts app, More > Settings > Contact to display, select Device. Mine was originally set to All contacts. In Smart Switch go to More > Preferences > Backup items, select only Contacts and re-run. Contact backup worked.
Did the same for Applications, in Smart Switch, More > Preferences > Backup items, select Applications only. Backup worked. For some reason if all the items are selected the application backup said there was no data, and no apps were backed up. Selecting it by itself backed up all applications. They've supposedly submitted a bug report, so may be fixed some day.
