This is intended to be a thread providing up-to-date versions of ZTE ROMs, mainly for the very unsupported (so far) ZTE V71A and ZTE V11A, but if you have other requests for ZTE roms, please ask and I'll see if I can provide.

Unless I find a different source, I can't provide any updates.

Okay, so here is a pdf for the huaweii media pad 7, of the flashing process and the unlmt.cfg needed is 0byte also , it is supposed to be the same process, dont use the files from here, its not for v71a or v11a!

zsolti, so far I've had no success with using the huawei procedure to flash our tabs, and mobilx hasn't been online today so I haven't got a clue from him about this.
The bad news is, as confirmed earlier by mobilx, the builds are IDENTICAL to what we currently have on our devices. Not encouraging at all (Verified by comparing build.prop). And we don't even know how to flash them yet...
I'm attempting to obtain a carrier unlocked nandroid backup right now, to see if it's locked at a component firmware level or at software level. Maybe we'll see some good news on that front.

This guide in english explains a lot. So this unlmt.cfg file actually serves as a trigger to automatik or manual update.
That means
if it is present update will start on PWR off PWR on
if it is NOT present than you need to go to the FTM mode VOL+ & PWR and update process will start
dload folder must be on ext-sd card.
Again leaked FWs for V11a are the same as ones on our devices
Sangemaru can confirm if his internal FW name on 7 inch matches with the leaked ones.
Go to yours build.prop file and check ro.build.sw_internal_version=VDF_RS_V11AV1.0.0B03 example of mine device
VDF - network - vodafone
RS - country - serbia
V11A - model - 10 inch
V1.0.0 FW version - very first
B03 - localisation ( APNs, keyboards etc) Serbian network APNs and Cyrillic keyboard

Yea, I read it.
At least for my tablet, it didn't apply. Update would not trigger, either on reboot or ftm mode, with neither UPDATA.zip or update.zip names, with the file or not, with fresh sd card format or not, development mode or not, etc.
I'm assuming it worked on your V11A, so somebody should attempt it on their own V71A's if possible. I may have messed something up, or simply have an unsupported sd card.

Anyone know what will happen if we flash a firmware from another carrier, like in my case? Because the network id isnt the same for hungary it is 21670, for spain its different...

did notice that huawei media pad has a dialer app, however did not succed to start it.
I'm saying that in greate proportion the two tablets are just the same.

Hi majaelix,
Tried all proceudres described in this post with no luck updating firmware, I have a Vodafone Spain V71a with 1.0 software version.
Tired to create several folders in sd-ext and puting inside the update.zip and the .cfg file with no success
Tried to sign the zip with Signapk utility but when I try to update it from Recovery, it says: "signature check failed", I think one of the files nneded to sign a zip file is related to the recovery, so I don't know how to generate it.
Also tried to root it with fastboot boot superboot.img but my fastboot can't detect the device form pc, I'vhe checked if drivers are installed in device administration and all seems to be ok.
Did you make any advance on this issue, I'm looking forward.

i have some problem
hello i have a V71A and i wanna take back the stock rom beacuse i formated system... and a CWM is buggy and usb mass storage is doesn't work and my pc don't see the tablet just CD-rom and not more "adb devices -list of devices atthaced (and nothing)" pls help (sorry for my english)

Uninstall and reinstall usb drivers. Your problem is a driver issue. And how exactly did you format the system?

Hy. recently buy a new Lenovo A750 with MT6575 chipset but it comes with a rom without multilinguage and Andoid market don't work on him. So please if u have a rom with multilinguage and android market for this phone i will appreciate.

i follow the instructions from the post and now i have "etotalk" multilinguage firmware version without all that "china" programs and store. Thousands of thanks.

Care to say a few more words? My Problem is, that I bought my A750 in china and the initial firmware is different. Also the bootloader is in chinese and the pictures in the linked post are gone.
Is it really possible to install a completely new flash without actually flashing it? I flashed the A750_recovery_edotalk, but as far as I understand it was only a root.
The mean thing is, that I got google play to work (With help of ColonelZaps blog), but even with MarketEnabler i cannot download google apps and other european stuff (I use a european SIM and I am currently in europe)
Perhaps you could post some pictures, which menu item to press to flash the phone.

1. Download the gapps pack

2. Extract it to your phone's sd card.
3. Move the apks from sd card to /system/apps/ and change the owner and permissions using Root Explore app.
4. Reboot your phone. Then add your google account: Menu -> settings -> account and sync.
5. Turn on your Wifi or 3G. Open Google Play and log in. Now, you can download and install apps.

How to install emui 8.0

I've read on internet that is possible to install EMUI 8.0 on Huawei P9 through the use of HiCare (but in my phone doesn't work).
This is the step:
Launch the HiCare app. You will be notified to set a location or region.
Set the location to China or Chinese.
The selection is mostly right above Hong Kong option.
Now provide proper permissions.
HiCare app detects your location automatically.
When prompted, do not change the location back to your own country.
Once setup, go to HiCare main page. Let it download necessary content for your device.
Once done, you will be get a new firmware update.
Most likely the latest Android 8.0 Oreo.
Anyone know if it's possible to do?

Never seen or heard that changing location for HiCare makes it possible to change the cust (AFAIK, changing location in HiCare is about getting local support, customizing Gallery App and its content, and about HiCloud).
Changing cust for firmwares requires to have unlocked Bootloader and to flash/change the oeminfo.
Besides, even when you make it and upgrade to Chinese Oreo, mobile connection will not work without flashing the needed network patch.
So forget doubtful YT and who-knows-where Internet 'guides', here on XDA you have a thread (with large and active community) devoted to rebranding to the Chinese Oreo AL10c00b540, with instructions and resources how to fix the modem (network patch), Magisk/rooting, and even to add Face Unlock (that does not come with stock Chinese Oreo)

I wrote above that changing location through HiXXXX apps affect what you get through those apps (and IMO, you don't change location separate per each HiXXXX app, but once for all), but that all that has absolutely nothing with changing cust for firmware.
And I know very well what is HiCloud and HiCare....
However, HWOTA7 method as here on XDA (link in the previous answer) does work
PS: If you take time and read OP insrructions in that thread, you will see that rebranding is not that 'easy' as it would be by declaring your Hong Kong residency. Even when you change cust and download and install the Chinese Oreo firmware, you still need some adaptations (network patch) to get it work on the mobile networks outside of China
Writing you all this from such a rebranded P9 with the Chinese Oreo, hence knowing very well about the matter

You must have done something wrong.
The method worked for everybody else, many, many people from elsewhere, both on L09 and L19, and starting from different cXXX ( just look into the thread how many participants)
If you still want to do it, better describe what did you do (by points in its OP post #2) and by which point it 'fails' for you.
And it would be more effective to post for such help in the thread, there will be better chance to get an accurate answer

Method does not depend pn your location.
You must only have access to Internet to download all files you will need, as precisely described:

If you don't receive OTA Patch02, just skip, it's not crucial.
Everything else you download and install by yourself, hence you cannot be blocked by Huawei by your loxation.
However, you will need to download about 2,5 GB or so of files

[Stock based only] How to enable VoLTE & VoWiFi for India on any region phone.

Why:
You imported the phone to India from another country and now VoLTE doesn't work for you. Maybe you unwittingly messed with your phones "/odm" partition.
This guide will help you get back the VoLTE functionality for INDIAN MOBILE CARRIERS*. Participate in the poll you want similar guide for other countries.
*might work for Bangladesh, Nepal etc.
Before:
Make sure your carrier supports VoLTE or VoWiFi.
Stock or stock based ROMs.
You should have at least TWRP or root.
Where:
Download the UNFLASHABLE files from here.
How:
-=:TWRP METHOD:=-
Extract the downloaded file, "volte_twrp.zip", to the root of your internal or external storage.
Internal Storage: /storage/emulated/0/TWRP (may not be the same for you)
External Storage: /storage/0000-0000/TWRP (may not be the same for you)
Reboot to recovery.
Select "Backup" from TWRP menu.
Hit "Select Storage".
Select the storage you extracted the downloaded file to.
You should see "2019-05-22-05-24-06_treble....". Select it.
You should see a single entry for "/odm" under "Select Partitions to Restore". Select it if it isn't already.
Uncheck "Enable Digest Verification..."
Swipe to restore. Restart to "System".

With your favorite file explorer obtain root access for "/odm".
Replace contents of "/odm" with files extracted from the downloaded file, "volte_root.zip".
Restart.

Good tutorial, but wouldn't be easier just to flash with odin the modem and csc for the specific carrier? It works even on Pie with older oreo modem/csc. You don't need root or twrp.
Tested myselsf, first Pie update was for Russia. Flashed it, but I lost wifi call and volte. So i downloaded oreo stock for my country(Romania - Orange) and flashed the modem and csc. Got back wifi call and volte.

This method only works if both the firmwares are for the same model. For examples I cannot flash Indian(SM-A750FN) firmware on a device I obtained from Malaysia(SM-A750GN) because they are different models (FN<->GN). For more information read my other guide.

i have the model SM-A750F/DS bought from dubai.. same issues ..cant access banking apps through jio call app..plz help bro

OK ..finally i have got volte working..its not a big deal at all..self experimnet is everything.
follow the steps
1. goto updato.com search for the firmware SM-A750F and refine the search for India (INS) and the android version 9
2.get the latest firmware and download it.
3.need odin version Odin3_v3.13.1 or above to flash it.
4.enable oem unlock and usb debuggin in developer option.
5.extract the firmware with 7zip, run odin as administartor and
select AP>AP, BL>BL , CP>CP, and important CSC>shud select CSC and not HOME CSC.
put your mobile on download mode flash the firmware.reboot will take a while be patient.
and VoLte wil be there..

Question [SOLVED] HarmonyOS Install on P50 Pro Global

Found a way to update. Please follow the below tutorial.
Download the folder https://mega.nz/folder/hMI1CQ7B#2oIjaFuEIKaxdu2h6--nqA (GDrive Here thanks to @zefirz).
Place this folder in a USB drive.
Use an OTG cable to connect the USB drive to the P50 Pro.
Dial *#*#2846579#*#* from the dial pad.
Select option 4, and then option 1, press ok. The phone will restart and the upgrade will start.
CAUTION
******** This process will wipe all the data.
******** I am not responsible for any bricks.
Important Points
If you have trouble downloading the whole folder from mega, download the files individually and place on the USB drive. Make sure the folder structure is same on the USB drive as in the download link.
If you face error when copying files to USB drive, check the file system. Change the file system to either NTFS or exFAT.

Process not working for P50 Pro on EMUI 12.0.1.221.
Steps followed were:
Change the region to Hong Kong, China in the MyHuawei App.
The HOS screen comes, but when it is clicked, it started to find the update but didn't find any.
Removes the SIM and then tried the above steps.
Same result.

Clear MyHuawei data, start the app again > Choose HK > When MyHuawei ask for permission to access location > Deny. After that, follow the instruction again. Loaded HOS that way 2days ago. No sim removal needed, MyHuawei looks for location, that's why even when you choose HK it still detects that you aren't really in HK

What version of My Huawei you are using? Also can you release confirm the model (JAD-LX9)

I tried to do so. It turned out better, but the update to Harmony OS 2.0 beta still does not start.

Make sure you performed "Clear Data" for MyHuawei app first, then you start that app again(Remember when it ask for location permission,deny it) > Choose HK > Follow the attached Pics > it will lead to checking for update

That's exactly what I did.
Attempt number 2:
1. In the Android settings, the country is Hong Kong, China. English language. In the settings of My Huawei, the country is Hong Kong, China.
2. Cleared My Huawei app data
3. Just in case, I rolled back all application updates. Updated to the latest version via AppGallery
4. Launched My Huawei, denied access to geodata
5. I tried to upgrade to Harmony OS - unsuccessfully.
P.S. Tried from under VPN - too does not work.

I only set location to HK in MyHuawei app, any other setting outside of the app I didn't change(Which is Malaysia). Clear app data, choose HK in app, on the 1st page > tap on the 2nd white banner HarmonyOS 2 Beta(HK) > location permission should pop up here, deny > update page checking for update > voilà

Another thing to note is that I'm using simplified chinese, I didn't reset anything else other than that app alone. Previously it failed to show HOS2 update, till I clear myhuawei app data and deny location access. And I didn't use vpn

Language as simplified Chinese?
