Can someone report that his lte works fine with chromecast
I've used it with my P905 using a home network and it works (screencasting and typical usage).
I've used my P905 as the wifi hotspot and didn't notice any issues between my Galaxy Note 10.1 and my Chromecast.
Why istn`t it still not working here ????
Chromecast is working fine with my SM-P905V. What is it doing there?
Cheers,
Russ
Hi,
I have got a 12.2 lte version and I can't get the mirroring mode working. Other than that (main purpose for me) it seems to work (youtube, music, videos, ted).
Don't want to hijack the tread but if anyone have some solution on how to get the mirroring work (it crashes chromecast app)
Thanks in advance,
Knut

The Note 10.1 (wifi only version) is my first tablet. And I'm loving it!! Though I'm a little bummed about no NFC support for simple file transfers. I've been swapping files via Dropbox with my S3, which is a PITA especially if I'm out of wifi range, having to use my S3 as a hotspot so that my Note 10.1 can pull from the cloud (essentially double dipping for my data usage too). And I can't seem to figure out how to use Bluetooth between the two (it would be great if Astro could see both devices). Just wondering if there an easy way or an app out there??? Thanks.

If you use pdanet tablet on the note 10.1 and foxfi from the market on your phone, you should be able to tether the two devices using Bluetooth but am not sure if it will allow for transfer.
You still have WiFi direct. Bluetooth works flawlessly to share files too.

Figured out how the whole wifi-direct works. It's awesome! And fast too. No more bluetooth or apps... just wifi-direct that's native to the OS. It's only every other day that I find a new reason give Android a fist pump.

Hello everyone,
Im thinking to Note 10.1 wifi and my question is: would a 3rd party navigation app like Navigon work or that would only work with the 3G models.
Thanks in advance

If you have a WiFi version of SGN 10.1, you can just buy a portable 3G/LTE WiFi router to stay connected or you can just use your phone as a hotspot (if your phone has the capability)
As a GPS Nav or SATNAV apps that require internet, as long as you have an internet connection it'll work.
For example:
if you are at home & planning your routes
if you are connected to a hotspot in a cafe & planningnyour routes
Using Phone or Portable 3G/LTE router as a hotspot to Navigate while you are driving
I use navigon and co pilot, both work great. No need for a connection. Sygic is cool but cumbersome.

Hi there,
How can i send a live screen from my 10.1 wifi (p5110) to my samsung smart tv?
Must i use chromecast / miracast, or is it possbile to use DLNA or Wifi Direct?
I made it possible to show pictures from the tablet to the tv screen, but i want live streaming.
I use the stock rom at the moment (android latest version for this device)
hey,
when I'm using Miracast/WiDi my download rate drops immense. It makes streaming youtube etc. impossible.
I tested it with a speedtest app: 0,3 mbit/s when mirroring activated / 40mbit/s when deactivated.
I noticed it on cm11 and cm12 and also on stock rom.
I use a Netgear PTV3000 adapter. The box should not be the problem because I have no problems using my notebook as streaming device
has anyone an idea or a solution or the same issues?
Hello, got a brand new Redmi Note 6 Pro and it doesn't matter how I connect to the internet via WIFI (DHCP or STATIC) the phone keep loosing the WIFI connection if I open two or more apps at the same time - multimedia apps that load images, or videos for example Youtube + Netflix. Or if WhatsApp runs in background and I open VLC the WIFI disconnects automatically. At this point I don't know what to think if is a hardware issue (bad RAM?) or a software / firmware issue, any ideas? Running the latest MIUI (10.0.4.0).
Update: I just realized that the WIFI stops working on my Redmi Note 6 Pro only when I have a Sony Bravia Smart TV on!! If I turn off the TV the phone works fine, no more disconnects. So what can I do apart turning off my tv? Obviously there's some sort of conflict with the Bravia Smart TV connecting to the same router (a 300M Wireless N Gigabit Router Model No. TL-WR1043ND).
This is really strange. I have the same router (running DD-WRT) and a Sony smart TV. And my Redmi Note 6 also loses WiFi... no solution found until now.
