[Q] P7500 with Samsung Dongle - missing allshare cast option

Hi,
I just bought the Samsung Allshare Cast dongle to run with my old 10.1 P7500. The P7500 doesn't offer the allshare cast option just the WiFi direct cancelling all internet connections. How to enlarge the options of my old P7500 to offer the allshare cast option?

[Q] All Share Cast Hub & Wi-Fi Network

Has anyone streamed a movie to their phone from a Wifi network while simultaneously using the Samsung Allshare Cast Hub to send it on to the TV? I was thinking of getting this Hub to use while traveling and use the Hotel's Wi-Fi rather than my limited data to retrieve movies and then watch them on a big screen instead of on the phone. I don’t know, if being connected to a Wi-Fi network while using All Share will cause problems. Phone: Rooted Galaxy S3 with Stock Rom and Custom Recovery.

Wireless Display - Samsung TV

I have 2012 Samsung smart TV 8000 series. It supports DLNA, is not limited to all share devices. Further more Google Now finds my TV on the network. However when I turn on Wireless Display on the phone it can't find the TV and the TV cant find the phone. Anyone gotten this to work?

Did you install the new home app by Google? That may help?

yes but the home app specifically says a wifi connection on the same network ia needed. The issue is with the wifi direct even when connected it will not cast. This has to be a 7.1 Nougat issue.

Hmm...... That might be a good question to contact Google about or check out the Google support websites. I use all my casting needs through my chromecast. Hence why I don't know.
I'm having a similar issue with my Pixel. I can cast fine natively through the YouTube app to my Roku, but when I just try to cast a screen mirror it says no devices detected. It will not detect my 3 rokus or the Chromecast.
Per the Google Support page for Screen Casting. You "Must" be on the same Wi-Fi network to screencast.

Cast your screen from your Android device
Connect your Android device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast.
Open the Google Home app Chromecast cast icon.
In the top left corner of the home screen, tap Menu > Cast Screen / audio > Cast Screen / audio.
Select your Chromecast.
Click to collapse
If you want to cast via Cast enabled apps without being on Wi-Fi, you need to make sure that Guest Mode is configured and enabled via the instructions here.

Wi-Fi Hotspot - How to make the host appear as one of the connected devices?

Hello!
Smartphone: Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE i9305
OS: official, unbranded Samsung's Android 4.4.4, rooted with CF-Auto-Root
With i9305 I can create hotspot for other devices and they easily connect. However, I'm unable to cast clip from YouTube app on the i9305 to the LG smart tv while in router-mode - the app doesn't see the tv. On the other hand, tablet connected to the i9305's hotspot can cast clips on the same tv no problem. My guess it is hat system-wise the i9305 doesn't see itself as one of the devices connected to the self-centred hotspot-router, but as only as a router.
Is there a way to fix this problem? Some app maybe or CFW?
Thanks in advance for useful responses.
