you might as well wait until the 15th and see what samsung as to say. Ordering from Negri and expasys, you wont have a direct warranty with samsung (they're not authorized resellers of samsungs product). its only two more days and i just read that in europe it will be available the next day, so hopefully its the same for the EMERICA!

Best Buy has wi-fi models on hand
I walked into my local Best Buy looking to get a TF Prime Infinity until I saw at least 10 white and black Note 10.1 wi-fi sitting in their tablet cabinet. I asked and employee about it but after numerous scans in their system, it wouldn't come up with a price so they couldn't sell it to me. I even asked about preordering but they couldn't find it in the system either. They said to check back this Sunday. Lets just say the thought of running out store with it crossed my mind....

I was completely fine waiting until the 2nd. Then T-Mobile listed the estimated shipping date as the 24th. I got my hopes up despite my best effort not to, and now I'm checking my email/bank account/t-mobile site every five minutes for an update like a mad man.

I'm right with the OP, I was ok waiting (kind of) until all the over-seas post of people receiving their Note III's.
I had the Sprint Note II up until 3 months ago when I switched to T-Mobile. I knew the Note III would be out within a few months so I could not see buying another Note II for a few months so I bought a Nexus 4 to hold me over. I miss the Note!!!
I think I'm going to try to stay off xda for the next few days...Yea right!!!

Super anxious here too! Got rid of the HTC One after being quite disappointed by the battery life. It went from fully charged to dead over the period of a football game the other weekend. Reverted back to the Galaxy Nexus that I've had for a while. Even after being rooted the Nexus has just degraded in performance and the power button only works when sternly pressed in the upper portion.
Ready for an upgrade out of necessity!

like me that has reached the point in their life, they just want to unbox it, set it up, root it and be done with it.

I frequent Spigen also. Lol! Dont worry, more stuff will be popping up within the next 2 weeks. I actually already pre-ordered from Amazon. For some strange reason you could pre-order there before you could on Spigens site.
Getting this one. Color matches the phone nicely.

yea I have been clicking around and figured out that's where everyone is pre-ordering the glas.t screens. and for anyone else reading this thread, they finally unlocked the "coming soon" on spigen site so you can order the neo hybrid and the slim armor cases straight from them.
I know it just came out, but I do not need to buy one until February. Should I wait?

If you are waiting for Google Play Store, please don't wait for them. The best you can do is get free shipping or playstore credit. For retail, the price starts to come down after a few months. If it is close to Christmas, Easter or any major holidays then there are great deals to be taken.
On a new device like this, Google doesn't usually reduce the price. They may offer additional incentives for the holiday season, such as Play Store credit, free shipping, etc., but that's about it. The price won't be reduced until just before the next nexus phone is released, probably 4th quarter 2014. Of course, there's always the possibility of some crazy event affecting the norm... but I wouldn't count on it.
Phone is already cheap for what you get. Check out the Moto G for $200.

I want to purchase it now, so that I can have it already. However, if it it might get reduced between now and then, it would be wise to wait. In the past have the prices stayed constant until the new model came out?

I'm done with Galaxy phones too. I booted up my S4 today to update it to the new MK2 OTA update because I'm getting it ready to sell. After a few weeks with my N5 I had already forgotten what a pain in the a$$ Knox is. Never again!

So after a really long search through every single tablet on the world its only this last choice left to make.
Brand new sealed box Galaxy Note 2012 version (16GB)
vs
refurbished Galaxy Note 2014 (16GB) + extra 50$ more expensive (400 instead of 350).
I'm not willing the pay for the full price of the 2014, the question is, is it worth to get the newer but in refurbished condition?
The only big differences I see between those two are the better screen and the new software.. everything else looks pretty the same..
What do you say?

As an owner of the 2012 version, I am waiting for a good deal to sell mine now so that I can get the 2014. Samsung has a bad rap when it comes to updating their pricier android devices, and upgrading hardware in order to secure the validity of the device is one of the only options left for the 2012.
I'm not counting on them releasing the rumored 4.4,2 update for the n80xx line at all.

I don't have an answer for you but i can tell you I wouldn't get too hung up on which version of android it has. I am constantly updating my phone with newest ROMs and in my experience the difference between jellybean and kit kat or even ICS aren't very noticeable. I just bought a new 2012 version and so far it seems fine to me. I didn't even look at the new one though because i want going to spend over 350.
FYI, in case you didn't discover this, amazon has white ones for 350 and Best buy has gray ones for 350. Not sure if BB has free shipping though.

There isn't a huge community of users for either tablet as its rather expensive. But even the 2012 edition is one of the most powerful tablets on the market today.
Samsung doesn't do the best at releasing updates but they have promised we will see 4.4.2 on the 2012 edition this year. Tho to be fair the amount of difference I expect it to make is near zero. The only functionality the tablet is missing is wireless display options. The only thing I wish I could change is running touch wiz.
Biggest reason I can see to go with the 2014 is the regular charger. The 2012 has a proprietary connection that isn't easy to find replacements for.

I have both versions and can honestly say that apart from my 2014 having the air command feature there is no real benefits from it. There are not many customs roms out for either of them and what there is don't offer anything better than stock imo.

Refurbished = Someone did not like it and took it back, or worse they took back caused it had a problem and the repair people turned it on and it booted, ha it works, resell it.

When do you don't need calling functions get 2012 GT-N8013 it's cheaper version of Samsung Galaxy GT-N8000. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 is still too expensive. And 2012 have better support, upcoming KitKat 4.4.2 and a lot of custom roms!

More a "tour" than a review. There are two kinds of testing, objective and subjective. The latter is more opinion which that video is. I want to see how S-835 and Exynos 8955 compare to each other and their predecessors, how the new Mali and Adreno GPU's stack up, how the new camera's compare to their predecessors and others on the market, battery life and charging time, and brightness and energy use of the new displays. GSMArena, Anandtech, and Notebookcheck are the best at those types of objective tests and they use the same battery of tests consistently across all the devices they test.

Or you wait three days from when you would have received your pre-order and go in to a T-Mobile store and pick it up there. The pre-order frenzy in the T-Mobile thread is farcical. In two weeks anyone (in the U.S.) who wants a S8 can have one. The amount of energy and time being consumed by some people to get the phone a couple of days ahead of launch seems kind of odd. The irony is, at least with the Note7, AT&T'rs got their phones via FedEx before 95% of T-Mobile'rs got theirs via UPS. And the latter had tracking numbers days earlier. To each their own.

Did they say how long it would take for them to re charge your card? I see people placing orders today and have already been charged and also have shipping labels.
Sorry but it's not a great review. The amateurishness of this guy is evident when he says that the samsung chip is even better than Apple's A10 fusion chip. Also adds a sardonic "sorry apple fans"
Obviously this guy is a novice. Because any reputable You tuber knows and as seen in many videos,the iphone 7 plus wipes the floor with Samsung Galaxy S8. He sounds like a very obvious paid reviewer for Samsung.
Don't get me wrong. I have preordered the S8+. But let's be real here. In terms of sheer performance and optimization, no one can touch the iphones.
