I got e-mail from ATT and it's aready been shipped out and I should get my device this week I cannot wait to get my hands on the device.......

Returned my HTC One (for various reasons) today. Bit irresponsible perhaps as refund for the One won't have gone through yet but what the hell.
Hoping Clove will deliver on time. Only potential regret is went for the frost white and having very minor buyer's remorse re: the 'mist

Just got a FedEx tracking number. The new toy will be delivered Thursday 4/25! Osssss-summmm!

Lovely looking phone, but serious build issues involving where the horizontal speaker grills meet the screen. A lot of them (both the ones I had and also the three ive seen in my local shops) seem to have this raised screen/sharp cutting edge issue in the top left.
Also there were some superficial things I didn't like - the large bezel, the slightly awkward capacitive layout etc etc.
Anyway excited about giving the s4 a go. Anythings gotta be better than my old 4s.

Just tried the HTC One and the build quality while it is amazing the phone has nothing particular making me hyped... The display is sharp but faded. Maybe I've been using amoleds too much? The phone isn't comfortable to hold for long periods of time because of its sharp edges and the demo was already scratched in the back...

When I went in to pre-order my S4 I played with the HTC One display unit there, they had only had it out for a day or two...and the back was super scratched up it looked like someone used it without a case for a few years. The iPhone 5 demos there didn't look anywhere near that bad so I'm not sure what's up with their aluminum.
However I thought the screen looked great and I really loved the feel of the phone in my hands with that curved back. I'm hoping I get that premium feel with the S4 too.
(I actually switched from the HTC One X to the Galaxy S3 and maybe was one of the few, but I honestly liked the feel of the S3 more)
To stay on track: Got my email at 9:13 am. Phone has shipped and I'll be getting it on 4/25!

I was completely fine waiting until the 2nd. Then T-Mobile listed the estimated shipping date as the 24th. I got my hopes up despite my best effort not to, and now I'm checking my email/bank account/t-mobile site every five minutes for an update like a mad man.

Checked my preorder status twice today!!! ugh this sucks!! i just want it now! my bionic is killing me!

I'm right with the OP, I was ok waiting (kind of) until all the over-seas post of people receiving their Note III's.
I had the Sprint Note II up until 3 months ago when I switched to T-Mobile. I knew the Note III would be out within a few months so I could not see buying another Note II for a few months so I bought a Nexus 4 to hold me over. I miss the Note!!!
I think I'm going to try to stay off xda for the next few days...Yea right!!!

Super anxious here too! Got rid of the HTC One after being quite disappointed by the battery life. It went from fully charged to dead over the period of a football game the other weekend. Reverted back to the Galaxy Nexus that I've had for a while. Even after being rooted the Nexus has just degraded in performance and the power button only works when sternly pressed in the upper portion.
Ready for an upgrade out of necessity!

Bless the early adopters, but I'm lazy...I don't want to wait a month or more for a sure fire root/rom/hack to come
out to use some of my programs that require root. You early adopters make it SO MUCH EASIER :good: for someone
like me that has reached the point in their life, they just want to unbox it, set it up, root it and be done with it.
I plan on ordering something around Halloween. By then, a solid root/hack/fix for any issues that develop should

I frequent Spigen also. Lol! Dont worry, more stuff will be popping up within the next 2 weeks. I actually already pre-ordered from Amazon. For some strange reason you could pre-order there before you could on Spigens site.
Getting this one. Color matches the phone nicely.

yea I have been clicking around and figured out that's where everyone is pre-ordering the glas.t screens. and for anyone else reading this thread, they finally unlocked the "coming soon" on spigen site so you can order the neo hybrid and the slim armor cases straight from them.

Got my Note 3 Today...

First Impressions...
1. It's very light. For such a big device it feels so light in the hand.
2. The battery life is VERY STRONG.
3. I'm surprised how fast the battery charge just using the regular USB 2.0.
4. It's very clean and sexy.
5. There is ALOT of bloatware. I'd say half is useful and half isn't.
Overall, VERY HAPPY with my decision.

Request: Chess engine benchmark seems to be very challanging for some cpus... So just install free droidfish app, set 4 threads in settings, and from initial position press 'M' button (just below the board) and choose 'Analysis Mode' - wait few seconds and report the 'nps:' number you see at bottom of the screen... Will it pass 1000k?

this. true statement battery life cant be told until several cycles

I have noticed a massive improvement in audio quality with the mp3 player and thats using identical music and poweramp with the same settings. The loudspeeker also seems a touch louder

Removable battery and an SD slot?? My heart skipped a beat!

Here I am sitting on the fence with my trusty note 2 waiting and watching for a release that will make the decision for me.
I'm not ashamed to admit that a little squeal escaped when I saw the removable battery and SD slot in the release video!
I hope this one is a good one! It sure looks promising to me!

Great move by LG, would be willing to upgrade my Note 4 for it.

heh, i think the note 4 has better battery life than this thing. even the g4 will have better battery.
video kills battery like nobody's business. was listening to a reviewer say he flattened the battery on the g4 within an hour of 4k recording. you cant record an hour of 4k but take many 4k clips and see how long it lasts.
I expect sd card to make a return with next years samsungs. replaceable battery, however ? hmm...that is not clear.

If this comes out on Sprint.... Bye Bye Note 3.

Does the g4 have aosp roms? I have to have root and be stock Android. The shaky video really turned me off but I barely record video anyways. I'm a huge Nexus fanboy too.

I'm still using the G3, I'm not sure about the G4, though. I'm a huge Nexus fan, but I absolutely have to record videos of my 4 year old while he can still walk and play, in a few more years we're only going to have these memories and the V10 seems to be the cream of the crop in the video recording department.

I really do think that I'm going to have to buy this phone on Friday.
I've been obsessing in the 6p forum for weeks reading everything I can trying to decide between the 2.
Really the only thing holding me back is "do i want to try the nexus experience? Or do I want to be stuck in carrier update limbo land?"
But seriously, I'm on a note 2 running 4.1.2. I'm scared of updates. Maybe hanging out in LG land will be fine....

I'm glad to hear this. I preordered my Note 2 and it's been the greatest phone I've ever had. I've had 2 phones since that I returned in favor of keeping it. Unfortunately, I broke it a few days ago, and I'm having trouble moving on, as opposed to repairing it yet again.

I too was very interested in the N6P. But this phone came to us like sent from above... I can't think of a single thing this device doesn't have!!! We talk about the perfect phone every time a new device leaks. This one might be the closest thing to it in my opinion, and based on specs alone. . .
The only thing I think stopping people on this forum is the root aspect of things and will the bootloader unlocked. Regardless. This phone is going to be fantastic. Cannot wait to pick one up.

LG is probably one of the best when it comes to trying to push updates quickly on their flagships. The carriers still take a little bit of time, but they're the first to announce lollipop update (G3) and first to announce marshmallow update (G4). So if you were to pick anything besides a nexus, LG would be best (they do make a few Nexus devices after all).

It was so hard to desert my Note 2. I have phone attachment issues. When I turned off my Note 2 to move the sd card I started thinking too much. I felt so guilty. I looked down and the screen said it's "goodbye" message and I teared up! In. The. Store
So embarassing.

Had the same feeling coming from my 3.5 year old galaxy S3 with OctOS. I'll forever have fond memories of all the Verizon peeps freaking out because it was the only carrier to lock the bootloader, then watching the forum posts pile up as Adam Outler cracked it open like the boss he is/was.
Just my .02 on the V10.. Love the feel/durability, love the screen, love the camera, love the $50 G-pad promo from verizon paired with the 200gb mSD and extra battery promo from LG.. HATE stock android!! So much.. I forgot how much bloat and garbage they can put a phone before the customer ever does anything with it and how little you can actually mess with the device. If there is ever a verizon bootloader bounty, I will be contributing.

I would say $200 off each model like last year

I jumped on the Verizon deal and saved 450 with a pixel XL.

Ordered mine from Amazon just got an updated email saying delivery a week from Monday (11/11). If the price drops within the 30 day return period, Amazon will make it right. So after $100.00 gift certificate and hopefully another $200.00 Black Friday the phone will be worth what it should cost. ($699.00)

I don't think Google will give you anything off.. well maybe a hundred or two but that's it. The carriers on the other hand will give you half off, no trade in required although perhaps another line added. But then you run the risk of bootloader locked, carrier locked for 60 days or more and being locked into 2 years of service because you only get a monthly credit over two years. But there should be some BF leaks in the coming weeks so you never know. At this point you might as well wait and see since it's only a few weeks.

Pixel 3 last year was a very poor seller. So in that case it was a supply-and-demand thing.. my wife got a pre-order verizon 4xl for 450 dollars off. I jumped on a unlocked one at Best buy with $100 gift card. Both those deals lasted a week. And I don't think Black Friday will match them.

They'll probably have the exact same deals as last year at this time. Here in PR the phone has been out since launch and AT&T, Best Buy, and most T-Mobile stores haven't even put out a demo unit. Only one T-Mobile store had it out for display and the sales clerks told me that it's practically invisible. People look at it and ask where the Note or iPhones are. Go to the Google Store and the smaller phones (except maybe the not so orange, although I'm not sure) never sold out.
Google knows it has to be aggressive, the s11 will be out in a few months and the Pixel will already be yesterday's news, unfortunately.
I remember when the Nexus phones had the fastest chip and processor because they waited until the end of the year to get the latest and greatest and everyone else played catch up. Now it's the other way around. It's a damn shame.
All that said, I'm definitely getting one as soon as I see the deals out there for Black Friday.

They made the same "mistake" with the Pixel 2, though the sale was only $100 of if I recall. And more sellers competing and more availability means better sales. THAT is supply and demand.

Returned mine. When the deals show up maybe I'll buy again. Unfortunately for me it was too much for not enough that matters to me (motion sense is a gimmick I'll never use). Obviously everyone's situation is different.

I bought it too in the hype, but after using it a few days I felt I got ripped off and way over paid!
If a really good deal comes along I'll buy it again or might just get the Pixel 3 XL instead.

Pixel 3xl is still a great phone. I still have it. Although for the price and features I bought the 7T after returning the 4xl. It's close enough to the pixel for me and I saved a considerable amount of money.
In the end Google wants to charge premium prices, but always cut corners somewhere happens every year. 4xl will be a great phone I'm sure just probably the first pixel I'll not own.

I was looking at that 7t, but not having wireless charging is a deal breaker for me. It’s like having a flip phone all over again. lol
Every phone I’ve had since 2012 has had wireless charging, starting with the Verizon exclusive, Droid DNA. Then LG’s G2, G4, Samsung’s S8, S9, Note 9, and now current LG v30.

It's why I bought my Pixel on my credit card to use price protection. Every single year it has not failed me. Until the banks decide to stop doing price protection (shakes fist at Citi).
