[Q] Haptic Feedback SGC2 - Samsung Galaxy Core

Hello,
I am using Samsung Galaxy Core 2 Duos (SM-G355) I have vibration when i click the menu button on home screen and when i type in keyboard or reorganise icons. But the phone does not let me change haptic feedback in the softkeys (back, home, recent) I searched for this everywhere and many peoples say it is available under Settings > Sound > Vibrate on touch or under Language and input > Haptic feedback.
But I have no such option like haptic feedback or vibrate on touch in anywhere in settings and neither I have my power saving mode on.
You cannot say me that Android with 4.3+ have removed this feature. No, my father have the same android version (4.4.2 - KitKat) He have this vibrate on touch under settings > sound. My phone is rooted with Kingroot and I am using Clockwork Recovery Mod.
Thanks,
Pr0Ankit

Cmon No one here to help me ?

Wake windows using any button - not just power button

Hi all,
I was using TNT version for quite a while and there was an option to active windows from sleep by using any button of the device and not just the power button. Now that I bought LG KS20 I cannot find this option in the original rom!
Do you think I could enable this feature somehow?
go to:
start > Settings > Personal > Buttons > Select "Lock" Tab > Select "Do not lock buttons"
Hi!
I'm afraid it's not there. The Lock feature has two option tabs: Password and Reminder (I'm translating from Greek so this may vary from the actual English text). For some reason it seems to be hidden. Any ideas on how to enable this feature?
very good question, i'm also very interesed !

This has to have been one of the most irritating default settings I have ever had on a phone, I went hunting and got rid of it as soon as I was able
I like the vibration. It tells me when I press a key, so if I accidentally press a key, I know straight away, because I can feel it
Also, if you'd rather turn off vibration of the soft keys:
Settings > Sound > Haptic Feedback (uncheck it)

[Q] Custom ROM: Device without hw keys, apps think i have hw menu button

I have Samsung N8013. Installed PACman rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=43446709
In apps like Play Store, Google Now or Skype I don't have software menu button (three dots). I guess thats because "ViewConfiguration.get(context).hasPermanentMenuKey()" is true, which is false. I wonder what should I do to tell rom that I do not have hardware menu button.
EDIT:
Ok, I have found a setting under AOKP settings: Settings > ROM Control > General UI > Show Menu UI Overflow.
Maybe it'll help someone in the future.

Making Keyboard Backlight Stay on with Tasker App - Stock ROM Rooted

I'm a new Relay user and I can't use CM-10 (need wifi calling) so I'm trying to make the best out of the stock ROM Rooted. I don't like that the keyboard backlight goes out after a few seconds and doesn't seem to even have a sensor to keep it on in dark rooms so I re-downloaded the Tasker App from the Play Store which I haven't used in a while.
To get the keyboard to stay on when slid open I had to do the following:
1. Open Tasker.
2. Choose [Profiles] from the top menu.
3. Click the [plus sign] at the bottom to add a new profile and select [State] from the drop down.
4. Select [Hardware] from the State Category menu.
5. Select [Keyboard Out] from the list of choices here.
6. Tap on the Tasker Icon at the top of the screen and select [Backlight On] from the popup menu.
7. Make sure the toggle switch is set to on for your new profile.
8. Now go to you phone's Sytem Settings > Display > Touch Key Light Duration > and select Always Off (This will allow tasker to take control and have the keyboard backlight stay on when slid open but the Relay's back and menu keys will no longer light up. I can live with this to have my keyboard light on when typing.
9. If this didn't work, make sure Tasker is set to on in System Settings > Accessibility
BTW if someone knows a better way to accomplish this please share.
Edit: Sorry I forgot to mention that I'm using Nova Launcher. I think with the Touchwiz Launcher, apps that use accessibility cause Talkback to speak even if you have it turned off. I could be wrong about that but I had problems with the Light Flow app and accessibility before.
Nice
Good tip. the lights going out bugged me too.
please help. cant find menu with backlight on
Can't find menu with backlight on. Please help.
hey there,
i just figured out how to do this with a non-rooted phone on ics without tasker.
go to settings, display and touch key light duration. increase it to 6 seconds and that will give you enough time to type..
Weird.
I'm on CM10.2 (131117) and since I set the backlight time (in CM10.2 1309xx, I think) to 5 seconds it will always stay on if I open the hardware keyboard.
Maybe I should write me something with tasker to change this in the opposite direction

[ROOT] How to enable haptick feedback on the capacitive keys (Recent apps and Back k)

Requirements:
Xposed Framework
Xposed Additions
1 - Install and enable the Xposed Additions Module. Reboot your phone.
2 - Select Buttons options.
3 - Press Add New Key, then press the recent apps key and select ok. Do the same with the back key.
4 - Select respectively the recent apps and back key, mark Force Haptic Feedback.
5 - Profit
If anyone know how to enable on the Samsung Keyboard, I'll be glad. It's a line on the "Floating_features" called VIBATONZ, but when enabled, the haptic don't work.
It's show the haptick options on Sound and Notification Settings, including the Samsung Keyboard haptic option.
If I helped you, why not press the thanks button?
Thanx
dose it works on the stock 5.1.1 ?
as for the keyboard i think our stock keyword doesn't support that BUT it may work if we installed the S6 keyboard and enable the floating features line
