same here, hope its good, iv heard people complain about some cases that are waterproof and have full body protection having problems with phone calls and people not hearing them clearly. This seems to have holes for the microphone and if that doesn't work im sure opening the charging port will. also it seems like you cant use the fingerprint scanner with this case.

Ya seems like a good deal, but i notice one of the sensors is blocked on it, what sensor is that? the 2 circles next to speaker only has a cutout for one.

It's ip-68 certified... Meaning it is water PROOF to 2 meters (6.6 feet) if they are completely lying then I don't know but I know that is a very precise certificate to obtain. For reference, the lifeproof cases are all ip-68 certified.

Awsome, hope all turns out well! This is my first case for my note 4 and i dont plan on buying another. Glad to see alot of people ordering it to.
ill give it a shot with pool and 6 flags season starting soon I'd like an IP68 case that doesnt break the bank
So what's the consensus with this case? Is it worth the price and does waterproofing as advertised?

Cool, thanks. Yeah, I want a waterproof case because of work so it would be really helpful.
Reviews for their other cases available on Amazon are mixed (Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 3, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus). Extremely poor sound when talking on the phone appears to be common.
Lifeproof also has the same review of poor quality but I have had 3 on 3 different phones and call quality didn't seem reduced in any way. I just hope it looks the same as the s5 and iPhone 6/6plus. The note 3 one by the way you posted isn't ip68 certified

Probably the closest you'll get to such a thing would be to get a metal back cover replacement to conduct the heat away better than the plastic one does.

Did you hear that "Roberto Duran" is getting his own movie. It comes out next year and stars Robert DeNiro and Usher. "'Hands of Stone" " is the title I think.
Sorry, just noticed your flag and thought of that.

I'd not heard about it until you mentioned it, but it looks like it will be a great movie. Oddly enough, my wife knew about it when I asked her.
Hey guys anyone here have experience using waterproof cases in such situations? I'll be going to the spartan race in december january and some mud race in march tryna look for a good and safe case for my phone
Update: still looking for any recommendations?

One hell of a steal! I've heard bad things about those tho. Like there is a gap between the two pieces meaning it could more easily come apart if dropped thus allowing water or anything to intrude the case coming into contact with the device. Other than that it would have been my second choice but that was a deal breaker for me.

tried it for the 1st time yesterday for the Spartan Beast in temecula! yes there is a gap when u try to close it. but taking the back cover off ur phone fixes this. i was really iffy about using the case. as i never tested it. took the back case off. used the atlas case and it seals completely. used it the whole race through mud water and the swamp. stayed dry the whole time. quite happy with it. + it has a small part on the case u can put a lanyard!
about people mentioning the sound being drowned or anything because of the case seal. watching my videos it doesnt seem that much. my voice is clear and so are the people around me. havnt tried it for voicecall yet.

Wth, yeah i guess i wouldn't be either xD Great job man! I'm always looking for cheap cases, had to pay the full price for my LifeProof for the Galaxy S5 cause eBay and other places had about the same price, plus that way i don't need to worry if i ever have a warranty claim.
My wife said she dropped her week old Note 3 in the parking lot. She said when it hit the ground the battery came out and got run over by a car. The outer glass is still good and is not broken. The inner LCD/digitizer is completely destroyed. Also the back plate where the battery goes is cracked across the phone and the battery is shot. When you look down the side of the phone it looks bent ever so slightly. All I can get out of her is “I just dropped it”. Does not sound like it to me. When I put in my battery it will power on and I can hear the sounds like it powered up. But then it shuts back down. No display at all will show up.
Does it sound like there is more than just the LCD/Digitizer broken? I called Samsung repair and they said it would be $216 for the display but did not know if anything else would need replacing. Should I send it to Samsung or is it a total loss?
Its best to have the digitizer and LCD replaced, did you not get insurance?

I hope for $216 it's for both LCD and digitizer. Yeah I got insurance through squartrade. Just don't know if Samsung will say it's BER. Or just send it to squaretrade for repair. Or take it locally in Houston. Would like to have original Samsung parts back in it though.

Can u post pics of it sounds awesome experience. I think it will need more than just digitizer replacement if I were u I would consider it as total loss and put it in house as museum so everyone in the house will learn from it's experience.
Btw, what kind of protection that it had on accident ? no case at all ?
Ouch! Story does sound a bit unlikely, indeed... You could try to claim it on contents insurance... just tell them it happened on your own property.

I would like to know how that happened as well. If you look at the phone it doesn't look like there is anything wrong with it. If you look at the display at an angle you can see a spider web of black lines where the LCD/digitizer is smashed.
It didn't have any protection since it was only a week old. The slim armor and Nillkin screen protector was on order and was in transit. Just a little too late.
Mate, go with Squaretrade... Whats the point of having insurance then paying out a buttload of cash to fix it?
Would you, if you had an accident, go to your cars manufacturer to fix it and pay through your teeth or go through your car insurer?

Seen successful drive over tests for Griffon survivor and otterbox armor on YouTube. Was with the puny iPhone though and you can't get a genuine griffon for the note 3.
Depends on the speed of the car too I guess since force = mass x speed.

Bother! I would've really liked such a case!
Considering there are harddrives you can run a tank over without causing damage, it should theoretically be possible to make such a case for a smartphone. While we're at it, bulletproof and waterproof would be nice too.

Not to get too geeky but F(orce) = M(ass) x A(cceleration), not speed.
Also, the force horizontally (the main one influenced by acceleration) would only have a negligable effect on the vertical force exerted on the phone.

You are correct.
But another thing to consider is that cars are made to exert greater downward forces at higher speeds to get better grip.
Also consider that the mass of an object increases as its velocity increases.
Thus, a faster car would still exert more downward pressure on the phone.
Couldn't resist.

Yes she will be getting the otterbox defender. Don't care how big it is. I will tie it around her neck if I have to.
Sorry about you wife's phone. I hope you can get it repaired at not too dear a price.
Sounds like something that would happen to me, to be quite honest I am a dropper.
My daughter had her iPhone hit by two cars in an Otterbox defender. The case was a loss, the phone was fine. We are all Otterbox cases all the time for just that reason.

Hi all
So I will be in receipt of my Note 4 next week and whilst this may be an odd thing to ask, I was wondering if anyone makes (or can make) a nicer back cover for these? I'm thinking something metal though I understand that may be a bit of a push (carbon maybe?! I'll be happy to pay for a one off!)
I ask because I remember how flimsy the back cover on my old Galaxy S3 was plus I'm not digging the "Faux Leather" thing!
Any Ideas or am I dreaming?!
Thanks

Don't think so.
I'd settle for the front firing speaker support
My cover doesn't fit properly out of the box yesterday, so I'm interested in getting a decent replacement too.
So it seems someone else thought the same as me!
It says it may interfere with NFC but seeing as I don't use it this is not an issue for me.

Those Element Cases are incredibly hot (not to mention completely reasonably priced)! No idea how I've never heard of them before... Might I suggest that those who agree start contacting them and "requesting" (demanding ) that they make a Note 4 case?

I purchased a case like this for my LG V20 and I never used it. It made the phone too big width wise for me. You could always buy one and resell it if you don't like it.
You can buy it on Amazon, I wouldn’t say it was waterproof though.
Can't find it on Amazon... Where?
I've also been searching for a waterproof case for my 6T. I'm sailing a lot in salty waters, phones have a tendancy to stop working....

Nope, we must give up and get a different phone. It ain't gonna happen.
A solution I have used since long ago to play geocaching or Ingress under the rain was to put the smartphone in one of those transparent waterproof plastic bags you use to freeze food. Screen works perfectly under heavy rain. Mobile stay dry. ^^ Best ones for me are Ziploc.
Thanks for contribution. I think it's better to buy a $10 water bag on Amazon instead. I know it's the best we are gonna get. It's still a pita to take/put it off and on off and on.....
You know what can also work?? Condoms, you can put your phone in a condom and tie it well at the end, nothing will go in and nothing out. It's cheap and you just have to wipe it with a wet cloth, and you have different colors if you want to apply filters lool
